Kamala Harris: ‘Women Will Die’ if
SCOTUS Strikes Down Abortion Rights

Original Article

Vice President Kamala Harris said in an interview that “women will die” if the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) overturns landmark ruling Roe v. Wade. Currently, the Court is weighing a case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which pertains to a 15-week abortion ban in Mississippi. The outcome of Dobbs could have direct implications on Roe. In an interview published Sunday with the San Francisco Chronicle, Harris said that efforts for SCOTUS to curtail abortion could result in women dying, adding that she’s not “alarmist” or “extreme” by suggesting that. “I don’t mean to sound alarmist, I mean this: Women will die,” Harris said in the interview.

Comments:

Too stupid or dishonest to understand that Roe v Wade would not be 'struck down'. At best, control of the issue would be returned to the individual states, as is Constitutional in the first place. Roe was a construct of Harry Blackmun misusing the 14th Amendment to justify it. It already has no constitutional validity, but the cowardice of SCOTUS over the past 50 years has been responsible for 50-60 million dead.

She was a Senator from California, and she is speaking to the SF Chronicle. Presumably, she, and they, know that abortion will still be legal in the State of California if Roe is overturned, right? Thus, what is she concerned about? After all, the people in California won't see any change. This point MUST be made over and over, as I'm convinced many people don't realize it, and vote as if they are protecting something that is already protected. Same with New York, where abortion was already legal prior to Roe, and would remain so even if Roe is overturned. Washington, Alaska and Hawaii were the other 3 states where is was legal prior to Roe decision. Most states allowed abortion with some limitations or qualifications. Heck, Texas is allowing abortion just up-to 15 weeks which, I believe, covers over 95% of all abortions in that state.

Women die every day BECAUSE of abortion. Some women have "choice" and the women in the womb have "NO choice". We should abort the host and allow the baby to survive. Then ALL women will have "a choice".

Would some magical death mist descend from the heavens and kill women who want abortions? Pro abortin feminist forces obsession with killing babies and death is very scary.

She does know that thanks to PP and other idiots who love abortion preventing states from regulating hygiene in the clinics, women are already dying from abortions. Remember the Gosnell trial? Your local hairstyling salon or nail place is more heavily regulated for hygiene than most clinics are. Truly disgusting what is going on. Somebody needs to tell the Dirty Cop that abortion will simply go back to the states for the residents to decide on. Given how conservative many states are, I imagine that over half of the states just might outlaw abortion within their state borders. Good for them.

Abortion-rights activists are almost certain to be thinking about how they can ensure that every being that exists anywhere in the universe is granted the absolute right to abortion on demand. It's not enough that Roe-v-Wade did that nationally, if we ever confirm life to exist on some planet orbiting Rigel, these people will defend its "right" to abort its offspring. They probably won't even care whether the other beings reproduce in a fashion that gestates offspring in a womb, the "right" will be defined and strenuously defended.

If Roe versus Wade were overturned tomorrow, not a single woman in this country would be denied an abortion if she really wanted to slaughter her unborn baby in the womb. Reversing R v W would not make abortion illegal. It would simply return the right to make laws concerning abortion to the individual states. Consequently, a handful of states would totally ban abortion. A handful of states would make abortion legal for the full 9 months, and the strong majority of states would still allow abortions under some or most cases. So if a woman in one of the states that banned it wanted an abortion, she would simply go to a neighboring state where they are allowed (probably a 2-3 hour drive at most in most cases) and slaughter her baby there. Yes, it would be a little more inconvenient, but no woman who was hell-bent on killing her unborn child would not be able to legally do it no matter how much the lie-berals wail and gnash their teeth about this. And as a woman who has been blessed by God to have 4 children, I have no problem with it being more inconvenient!!! Cubafornia has already decided to become an abortion mecca. They will probably pay for women to come there and kill their babies on Cubafornia soil. So, hey, a woman can get an abortion and a free vacation on the Cubafornia taxpayers' dime.
