One of America’s most beloved national restaurant chains is at the center of a political firestorm over a picture of a controversial sign that was reportedly posted on the front door of one of its locations blaming staff shortages and reduced hours on President Joe Biden’s economic policies.
Images of the sign captured at an International House of Pancakes location in Arkansas immediately went viral with users swarming Twitter to weigh in on the message which could become a public relations nightmare for the company that has served up delightful fare for over 60 years.
According to the sign, which was noticed by a visitor to the eatery:

If a restaurant or store put "Let's Go Brandon" on their marquee I would stop and buy something, even if I didn't need it.

A PR disaster only among the wokesters, perhaps. Those who are awake, instead of woke, know the message to be true.
I hope this turns out to be a boon to them, rather than a bane; Let's Go Brandon.

Most of the Brandon supporters I know would not go to IHOP anyway. Too much chance they might run into those "smelly Walmart shoppers"...

Learned on thing from this article. Apparently, there are supporters of Quid Pro Joe. Or, are these generated in a pajama boy's basement?

Arkansas is a very conservative state, and most people fully agree with that sign.
If the lie-berals from blue states try to push this, it will backfire in the same way it did when they went after Chic-file-A. The lines out the door in every IHop in the south will be around the block.
I live in an uber lie-beral city (Austin, TX). Many restaurants here post offensive signs on their doors and walls. If I see that, I chose to not eat there. I don't demand that they take down their signs because I was offended. It's called being an adult. It's something that lie-beral snowflakes just can't comprehend.

So some woke libtards tweet that they’ll never eat somewhere that criticizes this President?
Yet from 2016 to today it’s okay to harass, harangue, belittle and lie about THAT President?
You’re all bloody hypocrite big mouth woke morons!
Let’s go Brandon
IHOP is right!

I read the article twice and didn't see which city this IHOP is in. Arkansas is a pretty good size state. Lots of it is deep Red. Other parts....not so much.

You know, Jill wants the country to believe that it is all Kamala to blame for the decline. Well, it's not just Kamala. Joe is one of the biggest morons that ever lived when he was somewhat mentally stable. Now his a moron with dementia. So, you put both of them together (Kamala and Joe) and you get a whole bunch of dump, corrupt, crazy, etc. We have 3 more years of this, I pray that we will have a country.

I don't believe this notice will affect their business negatively. Biden has less than 40% approval, there aren't that many people who both support him, eat at IHOP and are woke. There are more people who understand this is why seating is restricted and service is slow when they dine out. FJB

While I'm aware of its derivation, and clearly see the amusement value, and also the prudent avoidance of an expletive statement, I feel kind of sorry for the ACTUAL Brandon at the origin. Maybe it's time to do the kind thing, and change the expression to: 'Let Go Biden!' As in...take your boot off our neck, you corrupt, brain-dead Commiecrat Usurper. Everyone will still know what it means.

#4 beat me to it. TaliBiden’s supporters are the kind who shop at Whole Foods and wouldn’t be caught dead in an IHOP.
My family spent a week on the Outer Banks in mid September and every restaurant we tried to go to was seriously understaffed, usually with only one or two servers and maybe a bartender. They only had a fraction of their tables available and the wait times were ridiculous.

IHop isn't exactly "delightful fare" unless you are driving down a lonely Interstate at 4:00 am, then they are priceless. When Joe's generous unemployment and child bonuses stop there is going to be a flood of workers coming out of the woodwork. As an employer I would look hard at people who have that 2020-2021 gap in their resume and ask them why they were not working. Anyone who brags about staying home and collecting government money while ignoring all of the "Help Wanted" signs is not the kind of person I want.

I have a good supply of bacon and eggs at home, and enjoy cooking my own breakfast. But after reading this article, I feel obligated to commit to eating at the local IHOP at least one day per week. They do have great strawberry crepes and I can't duplicate those at home. I am hopping to IHOP.

I've watched Twitter from afar for almost a decade and using a "storm of protest" or a "backlash" in tweets as a metric for any organization or person is to be taken with enough grains of salt to fill the oceans. When Twitter attacks other conservative social media for bots which they did a few weeks ago know that the fascists always accuse their opponents for what they are masters at.

Our IHop closed a year ago. Which is strange because our western Colorado town is a bit red necky. There aren't that many beautiful people who live here except for a smaller group of woke retired doctors, dentists, and college professors. But do we have a labor shortage? God, yes.
As an aside, our town's symphony orchestra is woke now and its board of directors voted to require concert goers to present proof of vax in order to buy concert tickets and to enter the concert hall. And for that, I wrote to the board's executive directors and explained why I withdrew a large donation pledge and will no longer go to any concerts and no more donations until they walk their foolish mandate back. My medical status is none of their business. Reverse canceling at its best.

This is happening all over the country. It's not isolated to any particular state or region. I was in an IHop the other day during lunch hour, and it was fairly full. At lunch time. IHop will be okay. The people who started paying people not to work, not so much.

Notice most of the Brandon supporters have women names. I never eat at fast food joints because of the new woke mean public. Just knowing that I-hop lost Brandon supporters you can now eat in peace if you visit and wish to support I-Hop.

I feel very strongly that we should support Mr. Biden.... in the exact same way that the left supported President Trump during his first term.
Besides....Mr. Biden is an "alleged" president - installed by fraud;
President Trump is our real, duly reelected President.
I have never supported a counterfeit anything. Why would I start now?
