“The Situation is Dire” – Salvation
Army Faces Holiday Shortages After Telling
White Donors to Face Their Racism

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 12/14/2021 9:30:27 PM

The Salvation Army asked for more than donations this year. The Christian charitable organization asked all white donors to reflect on their racism this year. Wow. After a major uproar the Salvation Army backtracked over Thanksgiving weekend and released a statement refuting the claims of their racial demands. The Salvation Army then removed its absurd “Let’s Talk About Racism” guide following the intense backlash over a text last week that told white donors to “sincerely apologize” for their racism while hinting that Christianity is institutionally racist. The link to the page is now broken and you get this when you click on it.

Comments:

Sorry SA. All of my money has white guys on it. Apparently it isn't good enough for you so I'll just hold on to it!!

Your new woke customer base is probably going to steal kettles. But hey you'll feel virtuous - isn't that what counts? Never going to give them a red cent (hmmm, is my white privledge showing??)

Hey SA. Just to let you know, I donated my typical 4-$figure donation I usually give you at end of year to a local church charity that runs a battered women/men crisis center and homeless shelter. The director called me twice to thank me and didn't call me a racist either. Can't help I was born white, but I've worked hard and am blessed.

A few years ago, a friend who runs a nice restaurant, wouldn't accept payment for my wife and my meal. He said "put something in a Christmas Kettle." Since then I have always thrown a few Benjamins in the SA Kettle. This year I give them zip. Instead, sent what I can afford to the KY state storm victims. Even got a nice email back. Didn't say word about my melanin status..... FJB

I am happy to report that we have done our fair share this year -- in that we haven't put a penny in a single SA kettle this year!!!! I would guess that I have probably put $50 in the SA kettles every year for decades at Christmas time. I always saw them as good Christians doing good work. But then Satan got to them and "woke" them up to the "evils" of white people. Since I am one of those evil white people, I won't offend them by putting my dirty money in their kettles. Sounds like I am not the only one...

Just more proof that it's true, "You go woke you go broke." Maybe, just maybe by next year the SA will smarten up and stop listening to the progressive bs that gets thrown around all the time. Many years ago a man said it wasn't the color of your skin that mattered but the content of your character. I believe that thought still holds true today.

I don't agree with what the Salvation Army said at all BUT have have given to them again this year. Way back when I was younger, I helped deliver some of the toys from the Salvation Army to the children of poor families and food also and I'll never forget it. The children do get some happiness from it and I do hate to see children go without on Christmas. They do provide food too. Besides the left does not give to the Salvation Army because they are anti Christian -- I've listened to them say so. I don't expect everyone to agree with me when I give to the poor. As a Christian, I feel I'm called to give some to the poor.

Here's my advice to the SA get the chosen race of 'darkies' to ring the bell at your kettle then find the 'wise guy' who came up with this woke idea and take him/her to the woodshed. Insulting your donors inferring they are too white along with racist is not a smart move, you dingbats. Happy Holidays to you 'ringy ding ding'.

The local newspapers write about how the kettles aren't very successful this year, supposedly due to the lack of bell ringers. That may be part of the problem, but I haven't seen the local papers discuss this particular side (the woke-ness) of the SA story and how that may be contributing to their drop in giving.

The advertising slogan is "Doing the most good"... and traditionally they have done great work for the down and out, under privileged and underserved who are down on their luck. Why is in Heaven's name have they injected politics into their appeal? Helping others is commanded of us by the Gospel: Matthew 25:35-40 " 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ I am sad that the Salvation Army has been corrupted by the woke crowd who judge people by the color of their skin. That will not prevent me from giving to charity this year.

Well the Salvation Army should have concentrated on and continued their mission to help the unfortunate and stayed out of politics. The state of politics today is so contentious across the USA these days that once you support a very controversial political position like CRT you are bound to loose half or more of the country. For a supposed charitable organization like the Salvation Army that depends upon contributions from the public that can’t be good.

This line of discussion makes me think of some of my shopping experiences lately. Have you all noticed all the black dolls, books, and black santa decorations? I live in a mostly all white area and there were more black dolls than white dolls at the local Sam's Club. Also, all the commercials with black actors. You'd think they were the majority instead of only 13 percent of the population. What exactly is the point of all of this? They are also casting black actors in period pieces where it would not be realistic to have them playing a certain part in shows/movies. What is the point to portray what is not accurate?

We would like to thank Breitbart for sounding the alarm on the Salvation Army weeks ago for their story about SA's anti-white philosophy. At that time, we warned others that their pamphlet on anti-whiteness training was evil and was destructive. Years ago, SA was under attack by the Left and we felt led to make up for that loss of income by doubling our giving. We don't know what has happened to a fine organization. We were close to the Salvation Army group in CA Bay Area, but something evil has taken over the organization and that may not be repairable. Sad.

The SA is no different from most institutions, in the US, whether national churches, foundations, alumni associations, etc. The top has been taken over by leftist elites, because rank-and-file supporters weren't paying attention. wake-up america; clean up your organizations; get rid of the elites at the top. the swamp is not just in Washington. that SA still does great work. forget the kettles (who knows where it goes). The best thing they could do now is to publicly apologize to their white donors and fire everyone who had a part in that stupid, racist pamphlet. If they don’t they will become a permanently diminished organization. It’s SA shame because SA was an outstanding charity up until now. It’s quite stupid to insult your base (Christians and conservatives) to placate the woke left that doesn’t like the SA to begin with.

You think evil people limit themselves to levels of government? Think again! The Roman Catholic Church and many charitable foundations are filled with people that, on the surface, seem honest and upright but in fact have the worst interests of the their employers and America at heart. Any reasonable leader of the Salvation Army would know and reject this white racism stuff released to the public. They would know the damage this would cause.

I usually drop $20 in every red bucket I see over the holiday season. I also dump my entire year's worth of change into a kettle. Thanks to the advice of the Salvation Army I confronted my whiteness and realized that level of generosity was a sure sign of white privilege. In solidarity with the oppressed POC, I stopped giving. The SA is correct, I am much richer after confronting my white legacy of charity. I plan to spend my savings on brown liquor.

The cruise ship industry has been hit hard during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, much of their pain and suffering has been self-inflicted, driven by their mindless following of pointless federal dictates. That has most noticeably manifested itself in the implementation of so-called “vaccine passports.” Of course, vaccine passports do not actually accomplish anything. New York City not only has a vaccine passport system, but they also have a vaccine mandate. Still, they lead the nation in new coronavirus cases as of this writing. But the fact that everyone spreads COVID — and that vaccine passports made no sense — is not new information. And when Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida
