Biden uses tornado tragedy to push climate
agenda, suggests storms are ‘consequence
of the warming’

Original Article

President Biden on Saturday addressed the fatal weather that ravaged parts of the South and Midwest and used the tragedy to further his own beliefs on climate change. While speaking to reporters and virtually assessing the tornado damage from Wilmington, Delaware, Biden was asked whether he "could conclude that these storms and the intensity have to do with climate change." "All I know is that the intensity of the weather across the board has some impacts as a consequence of the warming of the planet and climate change," Biden said. "The specific impact on these specific storms, I can't say at this point."

Pretty scummy, no? Can you imagine Trump pushing some agenda in the face of 100 dead Americans?

THIS from a foolish Green-New-Deal-puppet who "follows the science" by MANDATING experimental vaccines that don't work as HE promised they would. Why not just ask Israel & Gibraltar about the real data, Captain Demento? Because it's NOT about the science after all, is it? It's about "OBEY ME or lose your JOB."

A new requirement for truck drivers coming from Canada to be vaccinated against COVID-19 could add to supply chain challenges for everything from cars to fruit. The Canadian Trucking Alliance said it could effect more than 12,000 drivers who cross the border daily. "Based on surveys done by the Alliance, and national vaccination averages, CTA believes this will result in a 10-15% exit rate of the 120,000 truck drivers currently crossing the border," the group said. The organization said it is working with its counterparts in the U.S. before the vaccination mandate goes into effect.

BRUSSELS  — Tensions soared Monday between Russia and the West over concerns that Moscow is planning to invade Ukraine, with NATO outlining potential troop and ship deployments, Britain saying it would withdraw some diplomats from Kyiv, and Ireland denouncing upcoming Russian war games off its coast as unwelcome. The Western alliance’s statement summed up moves already announced by member countries, but restating them under the NATO banner appeared aimed at showing its resolve. It was just one of a series of announcements that signaled the West is ramping up its rhetoric in the information war that has accompanied the Ukraine standoff.  CORRECTIONS*

New York City's Eric Adams vowed to crack down on crime if elected mayor, but after just three weeks in the position, he’s facing major setbacks as crimes continue sweeping the city. "It's terrible - the city has gotten worse now," Vincente Malava told WABC of the increase in crimes. Over the course of the last three weeks, the five boroughs have been rocked by a 16% increase in shootings compared to last year, a 65% increase in transit crimes, and a 25% increase in robberies. Meanwhile, the NYPD is reeling from the five officers who have been shot since Jan. 1, including a rookie cop who was shot dead.

The CDC has officially moved the goalposts on what it means to be vaccinated from COVID-19. We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.

BREAKING: Schumer Suffers Crushing Defeat

I’m not sure what Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) thought he was going to get by pushing a vote on the Democratic effort to federalize elections (which they call ‘voting rights’) and on the filibuster. Schumer knew that he was likely to get a “no” on the filibuster from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). They’ve only been holding fast on the subject for months. Both also were very firm on the subject in speeches — Sinema earlier in the week and Manchin earlier on Wednesday. It wasn’t happening, they said. But Schumer decided to commit electoral suicide anyway, and he got it tonight.

The overwhelming majority of Senate Democrats will soon move to eliminate the filibuster -- which has protected the rights of the chamber’s minority for more than a century – because they feel the need to pass ‘voting rights legislation’ is just too intense to be blocked by the 60-vote threshold. By merging several pieces of legislation into one mega-bill and calling it the ‘Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act,’ Democrats are trying to scare people into believing that if the bill doesn’t pass, they will lose their right to vote.

An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

The president is trying to navigate a narrow path between two potential disasters. Each one could prove fatal to his tenure, but if the twain shall meet, he doesn’t have a prayer. And it’s a near certainty they will meet because the facts we already know are overwhelmingly stacked against him and more damaging information is coming soon. One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Yellen, who served as chair of the Federal Reserve before becoming Joe Biden's top financial official, wrapped up her first visit to China as treasury secretary on Sunday. Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
