A former U.S. soldier in Pakistan said the U.S. Embassy repeatedly hung up on him as he pleaded for help and wouldn’t let him enter the building to speak with a government official. The former staff sergeant, an Afghan native, said he traveled from the U.S. to Pakistan to try to help his family escape the Taliban and flee Afghanistan. He went to the embassy to request diplomatic aid for his family and for American citizens, green card holders and Afghans with special immigrant visas he said were stuck at the border.

I truly hope there are private groups and agencies helping our people and allies get out of Afghanistan. Our own government is worse than useless in this regard.

I spent 3 years working in several African countries. The countries you don't visit as a tourist. My experience with our embassies and the state department was not good. Helpful is not a word I would equate with these government agencies.

Sorry, "Sarge"...not buying your story. And, frankly, I don't give a damn about green card holders (likely Afghan citizens, not American), and "special immigrant visa" holders (more translators?). Where is the reliable/reasonable proof of any of this? Calling on the phone? He could have done much better from wherever he claimed to be in the states, starting with his Federal elected officials, like a Senator or Member of Congress. Nope, not buying this.

A few things here, 1: why does it matter what he looks like? 2: it says clearly in the article he went to the embassy, he didn't just call 3: they wouldn't talk to him at the embassy so he called and got blown off 4: if we don't help the people who helped us for the last 20 years and leave them to die then how much help do you expect in the future in the next country and the five after that? We made promises. We should live up to those promises. If our word as Americans is no good then what's the point of it all? We should be better than the Marxist trash and the terrorists and totalitarians and everyone else we stand up against. Some of my fellow conservative's replies are very disappointing. You should direct your anger where it belongs, at the cause of the mess, Joe Biden and his puppet masters, not at the victims of their horrible policy.

Sorry, once one becomes a U.S. Citizen one forfeits the right to any attention from the Biden Administration. That goes double if one is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Mesa County Colorado Clerk Tina Peters knew that the Colorado Secretary of State was most likely committing a crime when she ordered voting machines cleaned of 2020 Election results earlier this year. So Tina Peters made a backup of Mesa County’s 2020 voting machines. She was then targeted by the state for her actions. Tina Peters had her office raided after she made the decision to not allow Democrat partisans to wipe clean the election data from her county’s machines. Tina Peters has received numerous death threats for saving the data. Democrat officials demand it be erased.

All fifty Senate Republicans are launching a formal challenge to President Biden's vaccine requirement for private businesses, as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) order is being challenged in court. Indiana Sen. Mike Braun leads his 49 GOP colleagues in filing a resolution of disapproval against Biden's order that all companies with over 100 employees must require vaccines or weekly Covid-19 testing. The disapproval resolution is guaranteed a floor vote, which Braun says he will set for early December. The resolution is filibuster-proof, meaning it needs only pass by a simple majority. If one Democrat signs on, the resolution would then need to be approved by the House.

The Pentagon responded appropriately and in a timely fashion to urgent requests for National Guard assistance on the day of the Jan. 6 Capitol breach, according to a Defense Department inspector general report released Wednesday. "We also determined that DoD officials did not delay or obstruct the DoD's response," reads the report. The report runs counter to the narrative that was spun, in large part, by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who repeatedly claimed that the Pentagon delayed the dispatch of National Guard troops.

The Biden administration’s Build Back Better Act, according to the latest version in the U.S. House, would tax Americans earning $400,000 and above higher than all of its foreign competitors, hitting residents in blue states the hardest, nonpartisan analysts say. The top tax rates on personal income would exceed 50% in all states and Washington, D.C., including states with no personal income tax. According to the plan, the average top tax rate on personal income would reach 57.4% – giving Americans the highest tax rate out of residents living in 38 member countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
