Knucklehead Of The Week: Everyone Accepts

There are some weeks for which it is painful to be a conservative. The week of Election Day 2020 was one such week, and so was the week of January 6th, earlier this year. And then… then there are weeks for which it is absolutely glorious to be a conservative. Such weeks include instances when our allies are vindicated, or perhaps our conservative ideals are validated. Or better still, every once in a while, we are treated to a week in which we see an individual who is wholly representative of everything wrong with our ideological opponents being given his/her just desserts.

Comments:

Dave Chappelle was funny with his bit on Smolay, but Barkley was even better. I'm sure it's on YouTube, check it out if you never saw it.

No doubt Smollett has been completely indoctrinated by the leftist and socialist Democrats right from the top, the Biden-Harris level, and their racially based deputies who operate the Black Lives Matter movement. So it will be very doubtful if he can realistically figure out that he has been living in a dream world as he planned, perpetrated, and now is defending his grand criminal hoax.

Even though yours truly took a two-week hiatus from his weekly documentation of supreme stupidity, knuckleheadedness itself did not take a vacation. In fact, the phenomenon was clearly working as feverishly as ever, then switched into overdrive this week. Up until Thursday evening, the front runner for Knucklehead of the Week had been President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary, the inestimable Karine Jean-Pierre. But after Thursday’s bizarre, occult-like speech from Mr. Biden, our Commander-in-Chief sealed the deal as we bestow the honor upon him for a record sixth time. Concern for Queen Elizabeth’s health has surfaced once again, as the monarch has decided to withdraw from attending the Braemar Gathering in Scotland on Sept. 3. Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday that the 96-year-old’s son Prince Charles will make an appearance in her absence and represent her at the Highland Games event. The choice to not allow the sovereign to travel was for “comfort” and mobility considerations, a source told The Mirror. The Queen also recently pulled out of visiting London to appoint the newest Prime Minister and to say goodbye to former PM Boris Johnson next week.

Vesly Beato, 22, bashed the current crime streak in the Big Apple with a now-viral TikTok video following the unprovoked attack — and continued doing so in a Wednesday night interview with The Post. “I don’t feel that comfortable in New York anymore,” she said from her mother’s Upper Manhattan apartment. “It’s not the same… New York is not what it used to be.” Beato’s change of heart came after she was smacked across the face by a man on a northbound 1 train last Friday

Pell Grant recipients demonstrated financial need beyond that for the student loans of which there are those with lower interest rates, and those with higher interest rates, those from the Federal Government, and those from private entities. One of former President Donald Trump’s strongest and most endearing personality traits is his relentless sense of humor. He’s a very funny guy. Depending on the day’s events and available subject matter, a television interview can come across like a sitcom script, sprinkled amongst some profound takes on political topics, and rants at some of his rallies can rival those of some of today’s best stand-up comedians. We’ve had humorous presidents before, with Ronald Reagan quickly coming to mind, but none at the level of Trump. And despite the intense friction in today’s political climate and national tensions having been ratcheted to previously unseen levels after last week’s outrageous Mar-a-Lago Raid,

Is this the funniest comedy you’ll never see — because of cancel culture? In 2016, Jamie Foxx, 54, and Jeremy Piven, 57, started filming “All-Star Weekend,” a movie about two NBA-obsessed friends in Indiana. Piven’s character is Steph Curry’s biggest fan, while Foxx’s worships LeBron James. The pair win tickets to the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles and on their way out west, they run into a cast of wacky characters and find themselves in a dangerous situation with their hoop idols. The premise and the cast, which includes Robert Downey Jr., Benicio del Toro, Gerard Butler and Eva Longoria, seem like a slam dunk.

One thing we must give Democrats credit for is their unity. Yes, certain members of the party such as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) will occasionally diverge from the party line and oppose particularly radical pieces of legislation, but when it comes to big moments and key votes – on impeachment, for instance – Democrats circle the wagons. Contrarily, Republicans tend to fracture at the most inopportune moments, which is why it was refreshing to see virtual unanimity amongst the GOP after Monday’s outrageous raid on former President Donald Trump’s residence Mar-a-Lago. Almost all notable Republicans supported Trump after the ordeal; all except for one.

Less than a week ago, the tragedy of four brutal murders in New Mexico appeared to be a windfall for Democrats. It was a perfect, yet bloody, scenario for the party that doesn’t hesitate to try and exploit every and any tragedy that fits their larger narrative. And while we can’t be sure that any Democrats were actually happy about four men being dead, we know that internally they were thrilled about the circumstances. We could almost see them doing cartwheels in their heads as they discussed the matter. Muslims, of course, are included in the Democrats’ intersectional hierarchy of victimhood.

At least the BBC was honest about their scare headline: “World’s hottest day since records began.” The bottom line: We’re all going to burn up and we’re all going to die unless we throw an hysterical climate change tantrum and demand that our government take panicky steps to save us from the climate change demons. An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

Stein’s Law holds that “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.” The late Herbert Stein made the observation about economic trends, but his axiom perfectly describes Joe Biden’s shaky dance with political death. The president is trying to navigate a narrow path between two potential disasters. Each one could prove fatal to his tenure, but if the twain shall meet, he doesn’t have a prayer. And it’s a near certainty they will meet because the facts we already know are overwhelmingly stacked against him and more damaging information is coming soon. One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was slammed for bowing multiple times when she met with China's vice premier He Lifeng, as some critics say the protocol error is a sign of American weakness. Yellen, who served as chair of the Federal Reserve before becoming Joe Biden's top financial official, wrapped up her first visit to China as treasury secretary on Sunday. Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
