The Supreme Court’s continuing march
to the right

Original Article

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

How does it feel American leftists? You enjoyed DECADES of left of center SC Justices going your way on numerous decisions that damaged our Constitution, and here you have some recent decisions that assail a few of your "sacred cows," and you clutch pearls and pull the fire alarm. Get used to it, because we're taking the nation back to the Constitution!

Yes, the SCOTUS's, "march," to the "right..." ...As in, "jackbooted thugs'," "marching." All the rhetoric of the Left, after a time, becomes so tedious. Too bad most readers don't see these tropes and constructs for the subliminal seductions they are, and just accept the image of justices, "marching." One wearies of the constant insinuating, grinding innuendo that traditional or originalist Constitutional values are somehow, "right-wing," (implication, "wing nut") values. The impositions the Left proposes as civil rights issues-- statutory protection of mental illness like body dysmorphia, the myth of anthropogenic global warming, the legacy of slavery as an excuse for criminality, the, "born this way," thesis of what are actually lifestyle choices, the "science," of COVID lockdowns, masking, and "vaccination," just to name a few-- are in need of a corrective. The makeup of this court produces reasonability, in place of (ahem), "emanations and penumbra," (if I got that correctly). The mainstream media and the entire liberal intellectual mandate are fabulists. Truth is that if the Left (read, the now neo-Marxist Democrats) couldn't lie in the media, they'd never win elections, cases, or create law. Fakery, the ingrained habit of virtue-signaling among the lettered class, and reliance on the credulity of disengaged Americans is all they've got.

It is important to note the CNN perspective. The SC did not vote to allow a business to refuse to serve someone in a 'protected' class. No. It voted to deny someone in that class from forcing others to violate their personal right to free speech.

The leftist's laboriously constructed false facade of constitutional rulings by the SCOTUS as being "right wing", and therefore bad or evil, is finally taking somewhat of a hit. Maybe now thousands (millions?) of Americans will see the commie's chicanery for what it is. Democrats, Liberals and Progressives are not Americans. I sometimes question if they were ever Americans. Democrats are deliberately ignorant and follow their greed before they serve the country. Liberals are sociopaths who dream of utopia they control for their own enrichment. They have no regard for others except as tools. Progressives are the worst. They lie to the first two, possess the same greed and selfishness, but not the detachment. They know they are harming people and revel in it. They are the ones who do the human trafficking and conive toward a World Government that enslaved the rest of humanity.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is trying to put one over on America. In her dissent from the high court’s long-overdue ruling against racial preferences in college admissions, she cited an utterly bogus statistic. For high-risk Black newborns, having a Black physician more than doubles the likelihood that the baby will live,” she wrote in rationalizing Harvard’s bigotry against Asian-American applicants. Yet that black-infant mortality number is obvious bunk. If it were true, it would mean thousands of black infants dying every year thanks to white doctors’ secret racism. But the actual survival rates are 99.55% for black infants, 99.68% for white ones.

Will all this attention lead to a good outcome for patients and taxpayers, many of whom have never even heard of the term “PBM”? It’s possible, but only if Congress takes care to enact free market reforms that boost visibility on PBMs’ pricing practices, rather than tipping the scales in favor of heavy-handed government regulators.

The coalition partners — Rutte’s VVD, the Christian Democrats, progressive D66 and the smaller Christian Union — had been in talks over asylum policy for weeks. Though they were close to a deal, the conflict escalated Wednesday when Rutte abruptly introduced non-negotiable demands. The troubles snowballed from there.
