'Never, ever, ever…an American official

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was slammed for bowing multiple times when she met with China's vice premier He Lifeng, as some critics say the protocol error is a sign of American weakness. Yellen, who served as chair of the Federal Reserve before becoming Joe Biden's top financial official, wrapped up her first visit to China as treasury secretary on Sunday. Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.

Yellen, collected more than $7 million in speaking fees over the past two years from major corporations and Wall Street banks that have a keen interest in the financial policies she will oversee after her expected confirmation to lead the Treasury Department."

I guess she could have done what the US now does in private. Kiss his butt. Either way it is wrong and a major no no. We DO NOT bow to any world leader. Especially a communist. But then again Yellen is another misplaced box checker in an important position. When she speaks it tells us all we need to know about her qualifications.

The Democrats are an endless clown show in their desire to find equity, equality, the leveling of all cultures to the same stupid norms, they just stumble all over themselves, trying to signal their virtue, and always end up looking like fools. The complexities of the depth, timing, and character of bowing in the East, besides the pathetic kowtowing it implies on our part, are simply too much for us Westerners to manage. Such obeisance is an art form, practiced perfectly only by them. Stick to our own cultural norms. Shake hands, make eye contact, be polite and decent. But of course that’s all a bridge too far for today’s Democrats. What a bunch of idiots.

Bowing is antithetical to being American. I don't BOW to my boss and since I am the boss I would fire any employee who bowed to me (after a gentle warning). This country was founded on the act of NOT bowing to a KING. Obama was the first president to do so. Biden will bow for his 10%, the disgusting old fool.

Donald Trump's lawyers want to delay his trial in the classified doc case for an undetermined amount of time and suggest the case might not be ready until after the 2024 presidential election. The former president's lawyers asked the Florida judge late Monday night to give them more time before his trial on allegations of mishandling the docs, arguing the unprecedented case requires 'a measured consideration and timeline.' An initial trial date was set by Judge Aileen Cannon of August 14. Prosecutors then asked for that date to be pushed to December, to give Trump's legal team the time needed to get the required security clearances.

The Justice Department briefed federal prosecutors and agents on the team investigating Hunter Biden on a key FBI document containing allegations of a criminal bribery scheme involving Joe Biden in October 2020, but did not invite IRS agents to that briefing, Sen. Chuck Grassley charged. That accusation was leveled just weeks after IRS whistleblowers alleged that the entire federal investigation into Hunter Biden's business dealings was influenced by politics. The document in question is an FBI-generated FD-1023 form. The form, dated June 30, 2020, reflects the FBI's interview with a "highly credible" confidential source who detailed multiple meetings and conversations

Many factors have contributed to the downfall of America’s schools. One rarely discussed issue is the disproportionate praise heaped on the teaching industry, which has led teachers to believe the scope of their influence ought to extend beyond the teaching of facts and figures. As a society, we have praised teachers to the extent that even mild criticism of the profession is met with a chorus of boos. “My sister is a teacher!” When discussing widespread problems in the profession, instead of presenting an actual argument, those who reflexively defend the industry will often mention having friends or relatives who are teachers, as if this anecdotal tidbit is a meaningful response.

Native American groups are now joining the call for reparations centuries after hundreds of tribes had land taken from them by 'land-grab universities and colleges.' An estimated 10.7 million acres of land was taken from 250 tribes following the signing of the Morrill Act by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862. This law converted tribal lands into initial sites for land-grant higher education institutions in many states. Institutions such as the University of Minnesota, which received 94,440 acres of land, and Cornell University in New York that received more than 987,000 acres are being targeted. Cornell, in total, received land in 15 states -
