Results from the Virginia Republican Party’s “unassembled” ranked-choice contest cast on Saturday and tabulated Monday put Youngkin at over 50% of allocated delegates in the sixth round of tabulation after 13 hours of counting.
Youngkin, 54, is the former co-CEO of the Carlyle Group private equity firm who retired from the firm last summer. Memphis, Tenn.—Three suspects arrested in connection to the shooting of two law enforcement officers in Memphis appeared in court for the first time Monday. They along with an unnamed 17-year-old suspect are all charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder. The suspects, 19-year-old Barium Martin, 19-year-old Adairius Armstrong, 18-year-old Julius Armstrong and a 17-year-old, are all charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and the employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony. Memphis police say on Friday an MPD officer and an ATF were investigating a carjacking.

Weeks of tensions between Israelis and Palestinians over access to holy sites and the potential eviction of several Palestinian families from east Jerusalem exploded Monday, leaving more than 300 Palestinians hurt, according to media reports. A Texas rancher living north of Eagle Pass discovered five unaccompanied migrant children abandoned by smugglers on their farmland Saturday night. For the first time in its history, California lost a House seat. California Democrats are resorting to conspiracy theories about President Trump and the census, but these are the numbers they got after spending $187 million on outreach and after rigging the census to make sure illegal aliens would continue to participate.
