Cyberattacks on US soil are 'here to stay' a Joe Biden official warned Sunday, following a sophisticated ransomware attack on the largest gasoline pipeline in the country. The pipeline remained shut as of Sunday evening with its operator declining to say when it would reopen. Colonial Pipeline said it will bring the full system back online 'only when we believe it is safe to do so'. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo had earlier warned Sunday: 'This is what businesses now have to worry about.(Snip) Bloomberg News, citing people familiar with the matter, said hackers took nearly 100 gigabytes of data out of Colonial's network

For the Dems, every new calamity is "the new normal", "nothing can be done about it"....for Trump, "This will not stand", and "we'll make America great again"....and he DID it.

The Biden administration will go down as the most uninformative in history. They reveal only the obvious, even to the least mentally capable person.

The US has been , and continues to be, much too complacent about cyber attacks. It should NOT be accepted as the new normal. This is actually warfare by other means, intended to disrupt our way of life, damage our infrastructure and economy, and even result in death in some cases. Our enemies are unquestionably involved, using surrogate hacker groups to avoid blame and retaliation.
And it won't end if there is no retaliation. We have the skills and the means to track down the true sources of these attacks. It's imperative that we do so.

I read something somewhere that the CCP/ DNC has a hand in this security breach. Or maybe it was an opinion on FB. Amazing what you can “learn” IMHO.

You know, the invaders are climbing over the walls and there's someone in the Biden Administration rationalizing the whole thing. This much be the generation that never got a trophy because everyone wins - or something.

Biden is admitting that his Department of Homeland Security is incompetent. "The Department of Homeland Security has a vital mission: to secure the nation from the many threats we face. This requires the dedication of more than 240,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector. Our duties are wide-ranging, and our goal is clear - keeping America safe." DHS is headed by secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Here's a thought: cyberattacks inevitably cause related problems that result in the early death of people affected by the actions. High blood pressure, strokes. Peole inattentive to their surroundings over the pain caused by the criminal.
We know we can even track down these criminals - though law enforcement tends to give them a pass in return for working for the government.
How about we execute them, instead?
Now that THAT'S out of my system, I have to wonder if the Biden Administration didn't do the hack, considering how many hackers are on the government payroll, and how hostile Biden and friends are to cheap, free travel by US citizens.

An industry that requires 24x7x365 availability, and they don't know when they will be back up? Ok, they were hacked. They probably already do much with regard to cyber security so its not believable when they say these attacks are here to stay. My guess they should be recovered inside a week.
Never let a crisis go to waste. They will leverage this for their Green New Deal. Let the fear mongering begin. How long before gas prices go up? Higher gas prices equals more tax revenue.

Well... now that you mention it... I wondered how obama/biden was going to increase fuel prices and not take the blame... and here it is... it's a cyber attack... not the obama/biden regime...my fuel price has jumped from $2.13 a gallon under President Trump to $3.64 a gallon under obama/biden... and DC has just begun to rob US...with increased fuel prices... trucking costs will increase and toilet paper will be $5.00 a roll....

Well, that's one way to get rid of evil pipelines and make more "good union jobs" for truckers and trains hauling oil. Also a good way to show how we nee to get rid of our dependence on oil. All part of the Biden / Democrat / liberal plan to get rid of evil big oil, pipelines, force electric cars, and make union jobs. This will also bolster the Michigan Governor's push to shut down the pipelines under the Straits of Mackinaw coming from Canada.

cyber attacks can be avoided and stopped if you cyber intelligence group is on it's toes. I strong firewall and a team recognize to stop an attack as soon as it starts is the key - something isn't right here I wonder if it's a "UNION" shop.

President Truman took action to alert us to attacks such as Pearl Harbor.
Each radio and TV station has the equipment.
However the entire emergency system is now online and can be hacked with ease.
Oil pipelines are now digitally insecure.
The nations intelligence is now insecure.
Elections are now hacked with digital expertise.
...and it goes on.
There is a locatable problem with these systems and we need to quit depending on digital peace.

Those cyber attacks will continue unless the US Government loads up drones with smart bombs and drops those bombs on the hacker’s heads, no matter where they are located.
