Hopefully the pipeline will be back running in a week or less, but the worst part of this is that the enviroweenies will be telling us see, we can't rely on fossil fuels. Electric is the only way to go. Meanwhile my town is out of gas at all 6 stations.

Perhaps someone at the pipeline company might consider purchasing a clue about actual security for computers. Step One: AIR GAP, no connection whatsoever to the computers to be protected. Step Two: Physically remove all unibus ports, or fill them with epoxy. many more steps but this is a good start.

Maybe I am behind the times, but I would think the first priority for our government would be to protect the country from this kind of attack. Don’t they even watch television commercials? All they need Is PC Matic. (JK) Seriously, any company or organization should be doing everything in its power to protect its computers from hackers. I know that some hackers can get in practically anywhere. I would make that a first priority because between biowarfare and computer hacking, this is going to be a very important aspect of national security. Do we even have the grid protected? I doubt O’Biden will move quickly on this. This crisis is another example of one they they will not let go to waste. They will use it as an attempt to attack those evil fossil fuels we are so dependent on. They want us to feel the pain. However, the oil and gas companies will also use it to their advantage. Prices will soar and they will never return to normal. Before this, they had ready risen over $1 per gallon over last year. The little guy always gets the squeeze and it will trickle down to everything we purchase. Get out that old Misery Index and shine it up. We’re going to need it. When have democrats ever created an economy that is good for the middle class working men and women? Don’t expect it from this sorry bunch. They intend to use our misery as a cudgel to beat us over the head. If they can’t win our support, they will, at least, try and make us miserable.

I could pay my bills and do my banking before computers. I could buy something at a department store before computers. Solar events mostly just bother the nearer-polar areas but the more connected everybody is, the wider the damage can be. From what I have seen, the woke sort of instinctively feel that the Solar System is a driver of conservative propaganda and it ought to be ignored. But waitĺl you see what a really good flare can do to a "smart" grid.

They never let a crisis go to waste, and nearly every crisis is created by them and their policies. Yes, this will push more people (sheep) toward buying electric cars. Yes, this may very well have been caused by our own intelligence agencies, such as the NSA, who is supposedly a sponsor of the Dark Side hacking group. Green energy wins, Warren Buffet wins, as his BNSF rail line hauls more gasoline, the left wins as we have an energy shortage. And where was the federal cyber terrorism warriors, who we pay billions of dollars already to protect us from this type of thing? DHS? FBI? CIA? All missing in action, or too busy arresting and harassing "right-wind extremists" and "supremacists". I think we have already been held up by the Ransomware hackers. A large group of Iranian military fast attack boats on Monday harassed six United States Navy ships escorting a guided missile submarine into the Strait of Hormuz, the Pentagon said. “Earlier today a large group of Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, also known as the IRGCN, fast boats conducted unsafe and unprofessional maneuvers and failed to exercise due regard for the safety of U.S. forces as required under international law while operating in close proximity to U.S. Naval vessels that were transiting the Strait of Hormuz,” Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said. There can be no denying that the political left are an intolerant and authoritarian bunch. The Democratic party that represents it wants to cancel the rights of anyone who disagrees with them.Showing that fascism is all in the family, Chelsea Clinton has joined the calls for social media censorship. After all, it’s been a standard feature of her mother’s bitter Twitter diatribes since she was rejected by voters in the 2016 election. The heir to the Clinton political dynasty joined the team effort to save Joe Biden from an early humiliation by steamrolling any opposition to his stated goal of vaccinating 70 percent of the U.S. by July 4th.

The strong words of caution came in a letter from Cardinal Luis Ladaria, prefect of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, addressed to Archbishop José Gomez of Los Angeles, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The USCCB will convene for a national meeting June 16, with plans to vote on drafting a document on the Communion issue.

Another all-American brand, Anheuser-Busch, has jumped on the woke train. The maker of Budweiser, among other brands with a robust craft beer collaboration line, has partnered with radical professors in education and humanities at Arizona State University (ASU) to develop and implement a 15-module training program called “To Be Welcoming.” It is based on critical race and gender theory. According to a whistleblower who spoke with PJ Media, an e-mail from “Chief People Officer” Lindsay King announced the program on March 24, 2021. In the letter, King uses typical language about an inclusive workplace and how diversity brings better ideas. This new curriculum follows “Psychological Safety” training

In the latest act of liberal Hollywood cannibalism, NBC has pulled the plug on the 2022 Golden Globes telecast as studios including Netflix, Amazon, and WarnerMedia have cut ties with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) over accusations of corruption and a lack of diversity. Many of these same studios have spent years showering HFPA members with gifts — including free overseas trips — as a way to help secure votes for their movies and TV shows. Now, they are casting stones at the beleaguered HFPA, whose promises to reform have failed to impress industry leaders. Even Tom Cruise is getting in on the virtue signaling, returning the three Golden Globes
