Former FDA Boss Tells CBS It’s Time to End
Mask Mandates in 'Wholesale Fashion'

In a welcomed Mother’s Day gift on Sunday’s Face the Nation, former FDA commissioner and Pfizer board member Dr. Scott Gottlieb called for the end of outdoor and INDOOR mask mandates in a “wholesale fashion” since the country was well on its way to getting over the COVID pandemic. He argued that “the public has to trust that public health officials are going to lift these restrictions as quickly as they put them in place as the conditions improve” as a way to “maintain our integrity.” Interestingly, Gottlieb was teed up to deliver his message by fill-in CBS moderator John Dickerson

Fauci et al proclaim over and over: "Follow the science." I've not heard about are peer reviewed study that proves or disproves the benefits, if any, afforded by masks. For example, common sense suggests these flimsy light blue post card sized masks (everywhere being discarded to the ground) are absolutely worthless. Not to mention the numerous times folks are adjusting them on their face with their fingers. To me it's disappointing and disgusting how many folks have meekly tolerated the seemingly never-ending mask mandate tyranny of the U.S. Government, most states, and countless counties and municipalities.

While I agree about ending the mask mandate, things Gottlieb says about the "vaccine" are simply unknown. He's just making it up to support his desire, his position. It's just another freakin' opinion.

Later I watched a bit of a poker tournament, where everyone was masked, but kept contaminating themselves and others. They couldn't keep their hands away from their masks.

What should have never been mandated should end immediately. Unfortunately there will be many who so believe the false experts and the government control freaks that they will forever wear masks. It is sad to see children wearing masks. Same for the oxymoron "social distancing." The government is preventing our language. We're required to distance so we won't be social. It should be called "antisocial distancing."

When even the likes of UC Berkeley finds that masks are useless and the NIH reports their research on its website, what more evidence does anyone need? We’ve known for at least a year now that they don’t protect anyone from anything. It’s time to just push back and stop with the nonsense.

The criminal hacking group that reportedly goes by the name DarkSide and attacked the largest gasoline pipeline in the United States has now put out an apology of sorts. The Colonial pipeline, which snakes 5,500 miles along the eastern U.S., transports 2.5 million barrels of gasoline a day, and provides 45 percent of the region’s fuel consumption, was shut down on Friday in response to the hacking. Vice reported on the hackers’ odd statement posted on the “dark web”: “We are apolitical, we do not participate in geopolitics, do not need to tie us with a defined government and look for other our motives,” the statement from the DarkSide ransomware group reads.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed a bill Tuesday which will remove the word "permanent" from the state's permanent early voting list (PEVL), a method that was heavily used by voters in the 2020 election. He signed the controversial bill, SB 1485, less than an hour after the Arizona Senate passed it 16-14, along party lines. It also comes as auditors are at work inspecting Maricopa County's 2.1 million 2020 ballots under a Senate-ordered audit. Arizona joins other Republican-led states that have introduced, passed and signed into law restrictive voting legislation. There are 361 bills in 47 states that introduce restrictive provisions.

WASHINGTON — Gas prices are rising. Auto prices are soaring. Consumer goods companies are charging more for household basics like toilet paper, peanut butter and soft drinks. All of which is resurrecting fears of an economic threat that has all but disappeared over the past generation: Runaway inflation. It occurs when prices for most goods and services not only rise but accelerate, making the cost of living steadily more expensive and shrinking the purchasing power of Americans' earnings and savings. Growing jitters about inflation have contributed to a sharp sell-off in stock prices this week. Any significant acceleration of inflation would exert a drag on the market and potentially imperil
To Fight Racism, Should White Children Be

Years ago, I attended a play with the theme of racism. At curtain rise, two actors began berating the audience primarily made up of white people about how this work would make them uncomfortable, uneasy, and fearful. It is a very common theme in “antiracism” and critical race theory. But if part of “doing the work” to “dismantle systemic racism” is to endure this discomfort, how does that apply to teaching “antiracism” to small children? Should young white kids be made to feel uncomfortable? Examples abound in CRT theory and popular writing about how overcoming white fragility requires of white people that they sit with their guilt, shame, and unease.

Americans’ views about school curriculum based on critical theories of race and gender were assessed in a mid-April poll by Competitive Edge Research and Communications (CE). The poll, which surveyed 808 active voters and included parents with children in school and other community members, found that an overwhelming majority of those surveyed object to critical race theories being taught in schools. The CE poll uses blunt language in questions about what critical theories, like critical race theory, actually assume and teach. It is rare to see questions formed using the fundamental theses of the critical theory-based curriculum in the public debate. Critical theories are teaching children to make assumptions about others

He spoke in a virtual meeting that included Deputy U.S. Energy Secretary David Turk, Bloomberg said, citing someone familiar with the 18-minute discussion. The company did not immediately comment but issued a statement a short time later.
