Regarding race and much else, America’s students are not taught history. In fact, they are not taught; they are indoctrinated. With anti-Americanism. The purpose of all teaching about race in American schools is to engender contempt for America. They are, therefore, “taught” the lies of The New York Times’ “1619 Project” — that the United States was founded to preserve and protect slavery — and of such works as Robin DiAngelo’s “White Fragility.”So, then, what should American schools teach about race? They should, of course, teach students about slavery and racism.

In 2020, a set of oppressive restrictions were imposed on the American people in response to COVID-19 that had never before been so much as suggested, let alone witnessed, in all of human history. Our businesses, schools, churches, and even doctors’ offices were peremptorily shut down by government fiat. We were forbidden from leaving home for activities deemed inessential and from commiserating with friends and family in groups deemed too large. When, after months, a return to some skeletal semblance of normal human life was finally permitted, for many it was only on the condition that they never appear in public with their faces unmasked.

Election Day definitively confirmed the existence of hidden Trump voters. Undetected by polls and long denied by the establishment media, Trump’s surprising surge had to come from somewhere. Either these supporters were hiding from pollsters or pollsters were hiding them. Regardless, their existence raises disturbing questions about the role played by the establishment media and pollsters in influencing this election. Election Day provided the startling revelation that a contest that supposedly had been over for months, actually would not be decided for days, and perhaps longer. In reality, the “blowout” proved a nail-biter. More unsettling is the fact that the race probably had been this close all along

Joe Biden’s victory has touched off new fears of war with Iran, yet there’s a way for him to tamp down tensions: Let the regime know, in no uncertain terms, that America will stand with its allies, reject appeasement — and never return to that failed Obama-era nuke deal. Iran triggered some of the fears when a UN nuclear watchdog confirmed that Tehran has begun operating underground centrifuges and has enriched and stockpiled uranium in violation of that 2015 deal. An Iranian-backed group also fired rockets at the US embassy in Iraq.

At least two demonstrators who gathered in the Old Market section of Omaha, Neb., on Friday night to protest the deadly police shooting of a Black man were taken into custody after police declared an unlawful assembly, according to reports. The protest came one night after the man, identified as Kenneth Jones, was shot and killed during a vehicle stop. “Until (police) prove that they didn’t murder a Black man, we’re not shutting up – not one bit,” protest organizer Peyton Zyla told the Omaha World-Herald.

If actor Scott Baio gets his way, Utah's first lady may soon be Joanie Cunningham and senatorial staff meetings will be held in the bathroom at Al's. A day after Sen. Mitt Romney criticized President Trump's moves to hold up election results, Baio tweeted Friday that he might move to Utah and challenge for his seat. Baio, a staunch supporter of Trump and the Republican Party, mentioned the state's beautiful golf courses (of which there are many) and said that after he plays "a few rounds," he'll unseat Romney.
