It looks like California 21 is another District that has flipped from Blue to Red. Republican David Valadao has defeated first-time incumbent Democrat TJ Cox for the U.S. House of Representatives seat. After the latest update from Kern County, Valadao’s lead of 2,644 votes in the race shrank on Friday to 1,618 votes. The number of votes left to count from Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare counties has dwindled, the lead was enough for Dave Wasserman, U.S. House editor for the nonpartisan Cook Political Report and NBC News contributor to call the race. (Tweet)Like Young Kim in CA-39, this District was another one stolen by ballot harvesting in 2018.

Due to ignorance rather than malice, some slam California for having been overrun with Democrats when it was historically a Republican state. Memories are short - or possibly nonexistent?

OP (and #3), it was a very solid Republican State, that the Democrats took over without making it better.
They allowed the top-tier school system to deteriorate where it now ranks in the bottom 50 states.
The infrastructure has been ignored and allowed to crumble.
Their only solution is to increase taxes and fees, but it doesn't do anything but shore-up the salaries, benefits and pensions for the State's public employees.
CA-39 and CA-48, both elected Korean-American women, and represent very mixed, diverse districts.
And, Darrel Issa won his race, which will bring another bulldog into the mix.

Perhaps I am sweeping fairy dust, but I think there may be a few actual traditional democrats among the
House's current majority. If so the increasingly obvious election fraud scandal, provided the evidence holds up, might step up and do the right thing. (Pun intended, but serious in this case)
Texas Democrat Rep. Phil Gramm won his seat in the House in 1976, along with Pres. Jimmy Carter. He was reelected in 1980. He tended to vote very conservatively for a Democrat. He won again in 1882, but a couple of days after taking his seat in Jan. 1983 he was thrown off of the House Budget Committee for being too conservative. He resigned immediately, announced he was switching parties saying, "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Party left me!"
Gramm then ran the next month, as a Republican, in the special election to fill his own newly empty seat and won handily. Apparently the Texas 6th district decided the Democratic party had left it as well. Gramm went on to later be elected Republican Senator and eventually retired a highly respected Texan.
There may be a few residual actual democrats (as opposed to progressives) who love the country more than they hate Trump. If so they might recognize the gossamer thread by which the nation is hanging, and consider doing a "Phil Gramm."
If they really want to do "right" they could announce their revelation(s) on January 4 by voting with Republicans for Kevin McCarthy for Speaker. I would pay good money to see Pelosi rap the gavel on that vote!
If any (dare we hope many) do so the Republican Party should welcome them with open arms.

The Cook Report projected a 15 seat democrat gain in House. Now 2 1/2 weeks after election day they make “courageous” calls for GOP.

Here is more evidence that the “nonpartisan”Cook Report has no credibility:
From the Washington Examiner —- “Republicans won all 27 House races the Cook Political Report rated as “toss-ups” in its 2020 election analysis, in addition to picking up seven of the 36 seats the outlet rated as “likely Democrat" or "lean Democrat.”

Given all the shenanigans we're learning about ballot rigging, I'm beginning to understand how Kern County ever went blue in the first place. It's about as far inland-California as you can get.
