Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what the Kennedys ever did for your country. Bring the monkey’s paw of being telegenic into politics? Of all the things that the American political system needed, this was the last. And whatever it was that the Kennedys did, they did most of it a long time ago. The assassination of John F. Kennedy is almost as distant in time as the assassination of William McKinley was when Kennedy took office. McKinley, by the way, also had great personal popularity. And greater political support, having won reelection in 1900

Much has been written on “the way forward.” There is no need to chew the same material here. This piece is not about the Constitution. We know the power of state legislatures under a literal reading of the Constitution. Whoever is inaugurated as president this January, I will not lose my federal job for stating that the Constitution renders irrelevant the alleged popular vote in any given state. That is just a fact. No one can credibly accuse me of violating my oath to the Constitution and of seeking to overthrow the government. This is also not about evidence. The Democrat national infotainment complex pretends not to know what evidence is.

Today several of President Trump’s lawyers, including Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, held a press conference in which they alleged that they have convincing if not conclusive evidence that the presidential election was rigged, and that in addition to garden variety voter fraud, hundreds of thousands of votes were added to Joe Biden’s totals through electronic manipulation. This is the familiar issue that involves Dominion and SmartMatic software. Here is the press conference; it begins around an hour into the video.

The two GOP canvassers who relented and agreed to certify the election results in Wayne County, Michigan, earlier this week now want to take their votes back, saying they were pressured into going along and faced vehement personal attacks for their initial votes. After an initial deadlock Tuesday, canvassers Monica Palmer and William Hartmann agreed to certify the results with an apparent understanding that there would be an audit later on. But Ms. Palmer indicated that it doesn’t appear Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson viewed the audit resolution as binding and said she wants to rescind her vote to certify the results.

No one has ever accused Joseph Biden of having views on foreign policy (or, really, on many other things). Hence, whatever international matters a Biden administration would propose, oppose or do would follow from the proclivities of the U.S government’s several bureaucracies, as well as interested parts of the Democratic Party. Note well also that the deep state’s components and the Democratic coalition’s interests in foreign affairs are tangential to the only thing they really care about: crushing the Deplorables, Uglies, etc., resistance to solidifying their oligarchy. Hence they will deal with the agencies that handle national security primarily for that purpose — especially the FBI and CIA.

Democrats dusted off their favorite argument, next to it’s for the children, in their do what we want or people die approach to the most discussed transition since Christine Jorgensen’s. “More people may die if we don’t coordinate,” Joe Biden said in Wilmington on Monday of the rocky transfer of power between the Trump administration and his incoming administration. Demonstrating the popularity of coordination among Democrats, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told reporters on Capitol Hill that same day that the Trump administration “not coordinating with the Biden folks endangers lives.” No comment exists from New York Gov. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has a parenting problem. Not with his own children, but with the 8 million incorrigible residents of Gotham, who refuse to bend to his will. He has tried everything: groundings, lectures, threatening to send them to bed without supper (at restaurants). And yet these ungrateful brats continue to question the more ridiculous of his ever-changing and often-irrational COVID-19 guidelines. And this is a problem for a man like Cuomo, who seems to fancy himself the Father of New York, much like a Central Asian dictator might think of his nation as his children.

Has Team Trump thrown in the towel over Wayne County? The campaign has withdrawn its lawsuit over the certification of election results in Michigan’s most populous county, the only chance — microscopic as it was — for overturning Donald Trump’s loss in the state. However, the statement this morning from Rudy Giuliani claims to have stopped the county’s certification, when in fact it took place two days ago: President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign said on Thursday it was withdrawing its lawsuit disputing vote results in Michigan, in another faltering legal attempt to challenge the Nov. 3 victory of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden.

The Atlantic shocked readers with a polarizing feature that has been accused of promoting the mass abortion of children who are determined to have Down syndrome through prenatal testing -- but others feel the story is an important one that needed to be told. NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck accused The Atlantic of cheering eugenics “and the murder of people with Down Syndrome, simply because of who God created them to be.” “Everyone who works there should be ashamed,” Houck wrote.

Homeschooling parents unerringly find the most efficient textbooks. This is only natural if you have to spend all day at a kitchen table teaching children. A decade back, I was startled to find homeschoolers almost unanimous in praising the legendary John Saxon (1923–1996). What was his secret? Saxon, with three advanced degrees in mathematical subjects, flew jet planes in the Air Force, first as a bomber pilot and then as a test pilot. Reaching retirement age, he wasn't certain what to do next. A counselor suggested he teach math at a community college.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Joe Biden turned 78 on Friday. In exactly two months, he'll take the reins of a politically fractured nation facing the worst public health crisis in a century, high unemployment and a reckoning on racial injustice. As he wrestles with those issues, Biden will be attempting to accomplish another feat: Demonstrate to Americans that age is but a number and he's up to the job. Biden will be sworn in as the oldest president in the nation’s history, displacing Ronald
