Senator Chachi? Actor Scott Baio

If actor Scott Baio gets his way, Utah's first lady may soon be Joanie Cunningham and senatorial staff meetings will be held in the bathroom at Al's. A day after Sen. Mitt Romney criticized President Trump's moves to hold up election results, Baio tweeted Friday that he might move to Utah and challenge for his seat. Baio, a staunch supporter of Trump and the Republican Party, mentioned the state's beautiful golf courses (of which there are many) and said that after he plays "a few rounds," he'll unseat Romney.

This really isn't a news story but the "staff" author did a good job of writing a cute yet meaningless story based on a tweet.

If Sonny Bono could be a Congressman, why can’t Scott Baio be a senator? If I lived in Utah, I’d vote for him.

Why not? No one cared what Mitt did before. And that was to usher in Obamacare's precursor in Massachusetts. Hell, we elected 'Stuart Smalley' to the Senate till 'Believe All Women' took down Franken. I'd at least give Chachi a chance to prove his mettle.

Fox News, from whom we are fleeing in huge numbers, actually had a straight news segment on Republicans who want Trump to concede: Mitt Romney and Ben Sasse.........perpetual dissenters under even the best circumstances! And add to the the "Republican" Governor and AJ of Georgia---what IS going on there? They are either corrupt or total nitwits.

As former members of Congress from opposing political parties, we understand how high tensions can run around elections. But we also know that, regardless of whether we are pleased with electoral outcomes, we must accept the results. Dominion software’s reputation for reliability may have taken another hit with the claim that Eric Coomer, a vice president and dominion, and the person in charge of the software’s security, is an Antifa supporter and Trump hater. This information is disturbing when added to the way in which the software churned out impossible pro-Biden results in the wee hours of November 4 in Democrat-run states following a Trump wave. Wikipedia has deleted most of Dominion’s history. I visited the page a few days ago and read about its origins in Venezuela.

AP Photo/Evan Vucci Every right-thinking person, that is, everyone who thinks Jake Tapper and Chuck Todd and Adam Schiff are as honest as the day is long and always tell the God’s honest truth, knows that the Orange Man is very, very bad. The whole world, or at least the morally superior part, seems to have decided that a president who puts his own nation first and sees to its safety and prosperity is outrageous beyond every measure, and must be destroyed. But no one knows just how bad Donald Trump is as thoroughly as London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan.

There’s a campaign book from New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns. And former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale is reportedly working on a memoir.

"When are we going to have some positive developments in the president's case here?" Carr asked. Powell said evidence of fraud will be released this coming week. "This was very widespread, very deliberate, well-funded and everybody and their pet rock is trying to stop me from exposing it," the attorney said. When President Trump refused to concede the election to Joe Biden in the immediate aftermath of Nov. 3, we argued that he had the right to mount legal challenges if he believed there had been irregularities, mistakes, fraud, or all three. Democratic objections and outrage were as hypocritical as they were inevitable, coming as they did from a corps that refused to accept the 2016 election result not for days, weeks, or even months, but for four years. But although fair-minded people know there are legitimate procedures for litigation, and that these should be allowed to play out, there is also wisdom in the phrase, “put up or shut up.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo blasted county sheriffs who are refusing to barge into people’s homes to break up gatherings of more than 10 people, arguing that his executive order limiting the size of private gatherings is the equivalent of law. Cuomo said the sheriffs who have vowed to ignore the mandate he issued last week are “arrogant” and “frightening to democracy,” the Democrat & Chronicle reported. The governor claimed that his executive order is no different than a codified law, and that he issued it in order to force people to stop the “living room spread” of the novel coronavirus.

This is why you don’t swallow conspiracy theories whole-cloth without waiting for evidence to be presented. Amazingly, it appears that Trump’s own campaign is now disowning Sidney Powell’s fairly out there claims about German servers and millions of switched votes. And I don’t say that as someone who wouldn’t want to believe it if there was proof, but there was obviously no proof and plenty to the contrary. Here’s the Trump campaign today essentially telling Powell to go jump in a lake, which is probably the most surprising development of the last several months. Well, this is awkward.
