St. Louis—Mayor Lyda Krewson has temporarily relocated after a string of protests at her Central West End home. State police arrested Vincent Marzello, 65, Thursday and charged him with voting twice in Lebanon first as himself and then a second time as Helen Elisabeth Ashley. Sen. Rand Paul called for the impeachment of Gov. Andrew Cuomo over the number of deaths among New York nursing home patients during the coronavirus outbreak this spring.
“I think Gov. Cuomo should be impeached for what he did, for the disastrous decision he made to send patients with coronavirus back to nursing homes,” Paul (R-Ky.) said on Fox News’ “Rundown” podcast on Wednesday.

Every week in America about 51,000 people die from all causes. This number rises and falls during the winter due to flu-like illnesses and goes back to baseline in the summer. No one panics about it, and most people don’t even realize that it happens. This year was worse than normal, but we’ve almost returned to baseline.

The sky is fall-over-backwards big, wrapping around you in a way that hints at infinite possibilities. Maybe this struck him as an invitation, and maybe that celestial pull was amplified by the proximity to Hollywood, where his fantasies of fame could be spun up into life. (snip) Now it emerges that Jacob Blake, Sr., the man who raised such a violent son, has some ugly ideas about Jews. This is going to be a problem for Joe Biden who has finally decided to visit Kenosha, the place where Jacob Blake got shot and where Antifa and Black Lives Matter tried to burn an American town to the ground.
While still in his hidey-hole in Wilmington, Biden has already taken sides, and he’s not on the side of law and order.

The protests that sprang up in the wake of George Floyd’s killing in Minneapolis seemed like spontaneous outpourings of grief and anger. They weren’t entirely. Though many who joined their ranks may have been moved by outrage at the images of Floyd’s death, those operating behind the scenes have prepared for this moment for a long time.
Indeed, the leaders of the Black Lives Matter organizations fueling this summer’s disturbances were trained by self-described Marxist revolutionaries who have long used the plight of black Americans as justification for overthrowing America’s constitutional order. They frankly admit that such “organizing” is the key to their goal of world revolution.
Nancy Pelosi is one of the -- if not the -- smartest political strategists in the Democratic Party. As such, she knows that appearances matter in politics. A lot. Which is why her decision to have her hair done indoors at a shop in San Francisco makes so little sense.
In security footage obtained by Fox News, Pelosi is shown inside the salon without a mask. Fox also reported that the owner of the salon, Erica Kious, was angry that Pelosi had been allowed to violate the rules put in place during the coronavirus pandemic that mandates haircuts can only be given outside.
You can understand why Democrats didn’t want President Donald Trump to visit Kenosha to respond to last week’s mob violence, looting and arson.
They’re embarrassed. They’re worried about the election in a few months. It’s getting close, and Democrat Joe Biden’s lead in key Midwestern swing states is shrinking.
Trump is trying to take advantage of their weakness. He’s the president. He’s in a campaign. And if he had not visited Kenosha, he’d be guilty of political malpractice.

The public has been subjected to coronavirus lockdowns of varying degrees for over five months and counting, but prominent Democrats have decided that they should be exempt from the restrictions everyone else must abide by.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi openly flouted these restrictions recently when she got her hair coiffed at a San Francisco salon that remains closed to the public. Local ordinances only allow for outdoor services, and Pelosi was captured on security video not wearing a mask. Despite the evidence, her spokesman declared that the speaker “always wears a mask and complies with local COVID requirements.”

“In Kenosha and other places they were coming out of the cities into the suburbs and causing havoc. So you never know. It’s an unsettling feeling,” said Ms. Murphy, 32, who works in the insurance industry.
She never has voted before and said she registered as a Republican this year to vote for President Trump.

On Wednesday, Attorney General William Barr directly contradicted the idea that there is “systemic racism” among police departments and in America’s justice system. He admitted that some police may be racist but insisted that America’s systems are have been reformed in order to combat racism. While the attorney general said some further reform is still necessary, he firmly rejected the notion of “systemic racism.”
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Barr whether there are “two justice systems” for white and black Americans.

We now know who will moderate the three scheduled presidential debates. Chris Wallace of Fox News will moderate the first one, on September 29. Steve Scully of C-SPAN will moderate the second, on October 15. Kristen Welker of NBC News will moderate the third, on October 22.
There will be one vice presidential debate. It will take place on October 7, with Susan Page of USA Today as the moderator.
Wallace, we know, will be tough on both candidates. I don’t think either one can expect to gain an edge by virtue of his presence.
Prompted by his pollsters, Joe Biden this week delivered a speech in Pittsburgh condemning the violence across America’s cities. The speech was laced with lies, starting with the claim that he is a racial healer. Anyone inclined to believe that should look back at the Obama-Biden administration, which was defined by race-baiting and the deterioration of race relations.
Biden in effect promised that the revolution underway in America would stop if he is elected president. Never mind that he plans on bringing the revolutionaries into his administration. Should he win, he will give key positions to radicals who want to spur, not stop, the revolution.
It’s hard not to relish in the schadenfreude of Nancy Pelosi being caught on security camera, with wet hair, bare feet and no mask, indulging in an illicit private hair-salon experience in San Francisco.
She violated coronavirus health rules by the city, which has ordered salons shut since March. The day after her Monday visit, they were allowed to open, for outdoor services only, but no blowouts, and masks are mandatory. So, Speaker Pelosi violated at least three rules.

The U.S. Marshals Service recovered at least 25 missing children in Ohio in a two-week stretch as part of an ongoing operation in the Buckeye State.
“Over the weekend U.S. Marshals rescued dozens of missing children across Ohio, many of whom were being trafficked.” Gov. Mike DeWine said during a Tuesday news conference.
