Anytime I happen to hear or read this phrase or title, "People's Prosperity Pilot," COMMUNISM in some form, comes immediately to mind. I conclude it must be a MARXIST LIBTARD. Who else would come up with this financially unsound program!!

Do these people ever think things through and consider the consequences? Give a ‘needy’ person a Guaranteed Income for Life? Isn’t the obvious outcome that the person will remain ‘needy’ for life? Why is that so difficult to understand?

OP. Your math is wrong.
First, you have to deduct the cost of the Executive Director of the People's Prosperity Pilot, St. Paul's Guaranteed Income Demonstration Program, his/her/its staff and expenses.
So now, we're down to $800,000.
Of course, you have to have the community outreach programs and advertising campaign to promote the program.
Now it's about $400,000 .
And hey, you have to have your diversity and LGBTXYZ outreach. That's another $100 big ones.
Down to $300,000.
Of course, somebody's gotta audit the books. Now $250,000.
And then there's the annual National Guaranteed Income Directors Convention. I hear it's scheduled for the Bahamas next year. Gotta go there, take several of the staffers for continuing education. Down to $150,000.
I almost forogt. Need office space, furniture, equipment, computers, paper clips, whatever. With good bidding, I think that can be done for $140,000.
That leaves $10,000. One family.

Man, it’s a good thing that States aren’t eligible for Federal Backruptcy!

There's an Office of Financial Empowerment?
Wonder how many people work there...

The CEO of my wife's company won't even let workers come back into downtown St. Paul right now to work. They are all remote. Very large company! Peoples Republic of St Paul! The Apostle is rolling over in his grave!
