Pelosi’s hair-pocrisy

It’s hard not to relish in the schadenfreude of Nancy Pelosi being caught on security camera, with wet hair, bare feet and no mask, indulging in an illicit private hair-salon experience in San Francisco. She violated coronavirus health rules by the city, which has ordered salons shut since March. The day after her Monday visit, they were allowed to open, for outdoor services only, but no blowouts, and masks are mandatory. So, Speaker Pelosi violated at least three rules. But such is her sense of entitlement that she refuses to apologize,

She knew this virus crap is made up. She's 80 years old, she is in the high risk category. If she thought she would get this virus, she would not be without a mask in public. Further, she would not be in a salon getting her hair done.

It would probably cost more, #2. And besides, she wouldn't want to take a chance that anyone would steal her ice cream!

She flies to CA every weekend on a private jet provided by our taxes. She has congressional privileges that the rest of us don't have. She has been getting her hair done from the beginning of this pandemic. How do I know? Because it is still brown and has been fixed every time we see the old woman on TV. This time she got caught. LOL!

I'm with poster #4. My wife is a retired hairdresser and commented that Nasty has been getting her hair done from the start of this scandemic. At 80, she'd be gray, but she always has the brown hair the same length and every hair in place.

I always have said, to see the real person you have to see them when they wake up at 3:00am unexpectedly! Nancy is Exhibit 1 followed closely by Hillary! This is not to say men are not the same, Bushes, Bill Clinton Trump.. pick your favorite Me I want to see them all without the makeup You know just the unvarnished truth of how people dress every day on their own and go to work.. just picture Jerry Nadler and his buckle and shoes.. you know his famous picture posed everywhere! Nancy had an cast of several that drove her to the Salon., nice outfit! She had more than two!

Ditto, #’s 4 and 5. My daughter is a hair stylist and says the same thing. She’s outraged by what Pelosi did since salons are one of the hardest hit businesses out there. She also told me that all of those “new hairstyles” which Mooch came up with and which the media swooned over were wigs. Her real hair is what it looked like the day PDT was inaugurated. She apparently thought that looking like a bag lady that day would somehow reflect poorly on him, so she just pulled her real hair back into a pony tail. He was not worth any effort on her part. And then she had to sit there and be completely out shown by the gorgeous Melania.

The Justice Department is expected to file an antitrust lawsuit against Google as soon as this month, according to two people familiar with the matter, after Attorney General William P. Barr overruled dozens of federal attorneys who initially signaled the U.S. government was not ready to bring such a landmark case. The competition inquiry, which began last year, focuses on Google’s sprawling search and advertising empire and the extent to which it harms rivals and consumers. Federal officials have sought to expedite their work in recent weeks, aiming to file a complaint ideally before the 2020 presidential election,

Erica Kious is now getting threats against her life and her business for exposing the hypocrisy of Nancy Pelosi, who accuses the salon owner of a “setup” that caught her on camera getting her hair done indoors, against lockdown rules, and without wearing a mask, to boot. Does Pelosi really expect people to believe she was ignorant of her city’s anti-COVID rules — and also the staffers who bird-dog the schedule of the speaker of the House? No: Pelosi knew she was cheating. She just can’t admit she believes the rules don’t apply to her but only to those whose livelihoods they’re destroying.

It’s tempting to attribute Joe Biden’s plummeting poll numbers in key battleground states to his dilatory denunciation of the riots that still ravage their Democrat-run cities. However, the campaign’s fatal flaw is more subtle than Biden’s tacit approval of mob violence. It is rooted in the classism that resulted in his nomination to be the Democratic standard bearer. Among the progressives who control the party it’s an article of faith that President Trump’s base consists of undereducated working-class whites. Thus, they reluctantly supported Biden’s nomination in the hope that “working class Joe” could peel off enough of Trump’s benighted blue collar support to capture the White House.
Temporary victory: Texas Supreme Court

Wednesday I wrote about the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, filing a lawsuit against Harris County Clerk Christopher Hollins. His intention is to halt the county clerk’s plan to send a mail-in ballot application to every registered voter in Harris County. Harris County has 2.4 million registered voters, so we’re not talking about a small operation here. At the end of the post I noted that with early voting beginning in just six weeks in Texas, the Texas Supreme Court would likely rule quickly. They did. Later Wednesday the ruling in favor of A.G. Paxton came down.

At least 77 "worst of the worst" accused offenders were arrested during an operation by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Atlanta Field Office earlier this summer, according to a report on Thursday. Most of the individuals arrested have had convictions for aggravated assault, cruelty towards children and other crimes that targeted the young, Thomas Giles, the ICE Atlanta Field Office director, told FOX 5. He said the operation -- which spanned from July 13 to Aug. 20 -- focused on individuals he deemed "the worst of the worst -- the threats to public safety."

Coverage of Joseph Kennedy III’s failed primary challenge to Senator Ed Markey has sometimes focused on its ideological implications, particularly Markey’s successful effort to position himself as a progressive champion fighting the ultimate beneficiary of name-brand privilege. But to a far greater extent, young Joe’s loss has been described as signaling the end of the family dynasty he often seemed uncomfortable representing. That feels unfair, since the Kennedy clan’s reputation for political invincibility began to slowly unravel many years ago. It’s true that Joe III’s campaign broke a long Kennedy winning streak in Massachusetts, as the Boston Globe noted:

The New Guinea Singing Dog, a dingo-like animal with a unique howling style, was considered extinct in the wild. But scientists reported Monday that the dogs live on, based on DNA collected by an intrepid and indefatigable field researcher. Their analysis, published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, showed that the dogs are not simply common village dogs that decided to try their chances in the wild. The findings not only solve a persistent, though obscure puzzle, they may shed light on the complicated and still emerging picture of dog domestication in Asia and Oceania.

The public has been subjected to coronavirus lockdowns of varying degrees for over five months and counting, but prominent Democrats have decided that they should be exempt from the restrictions everyone else must abide by. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi openly flouted these restrictions recently when she got her hair coiffed at a San Francisco salon that remains closed to the public. Local ordinances only allow for outdoor services, and Pelosi was captured on security video not wearing a mask. Despite the evidence, her spokesman declared that the speaker “always wears a mask and complies with local COVID requirements.”

Prompted by his pollsters, Joe Biden this week delivered a speech in Pittsburgh condemning the violence across America’s cities. The speech was laced with lies, starting with the claim that he is a racial healer. Anyone inclined to believe that should look back at the Obama-Biden administration, which was defined by race-baiting and the deterioration of race relations. Biden in effect promised that the revolution underway in America would stop if he is elected president. Never mind that he plans on bringing the revolutionaries into his administration. Should he win, he will give key positions to radicals who want to spur, not stop, the revolution.
