Auburn, Wash—Police in Auburn released surveillance video of a suspect they believe has been living in the rafters of a grocery store for weeks, emerging only to steal from the store, then returning to a hiding place somewhere above the store. The Kenosha Police Department says the substance is commonly known as “Thin Mints,” “Peanut Butter Patties,” “Thanks-A-Lot,” “Peanut Butter Sandwich,” “Shortbread” and “S’mores.” They say that young girls run the operation and get customers with a “good cause story.” Police say if you come in contact with any of these addictive cookies, you can drop them off at the department. Officers are “happy to assist with proper disposal.”

Puerto Rico Gov. Wanda Vazquez dismissed the island's director of emergency management after a warehouse was discovered with supplies dating back to Hurricane Maria. Video published Saturday showed a warehouse in the southwestern city of Ponce filled with supplies, including thousands of cases of water, believed to have been from when the hurricane struck the island in 2017. Attorney Sidney Powell announced Friday that she has a witness to exculpatory FBI notes (known as a 302) from former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s FBI interview with Peter Strzok and another agent.

The very word connotes a superior state of being in which any opposing opinion is perceived as a personal affront, or even attack, and triggers the necessity for safe spaces. Opposing viewpoints are bludgeoned on college campuses and in the mainstream media as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, gun-toting, and Bible-thumping idiocies.

The Defense Department said Thursday 11 U.S. service members were treated for concussion symptoms after Iran launched ballistic missiles at bases in al-Asad and Erbil, Iraq on Jan. 8. The strikes were retaliation for a U.S airstrike days earlier that killed a high-ranking Iranian military official. (Snip) He said they were taken to two hospitals in Germany and Kuwait and are expected to return to Iraq.

London - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday urged Iran to send the black boxes from the passenger plane shot down by its forces to France for analysis and said the first remains of victims should soon arrive back in Canada.

Ahead of last week’s debate, her camp leaked a story that her friend Bernie Sanders met with her in 2018 to discuss plans for 2020, and that at this meeting, Sanders had said that a woman could not win the presidency.
Leaking this in the hours before a debate guaranteed that Warren would be asked a question about it by the moderators of the CNN debate. Sanders unequivocally denied saying as much. It has been known that Sanders had in the past

A wild avalanche struck a ski resort near Lake Tahoe in California Friday, killing at least one skier and injuring another person, according to a report.
Rescue teams were dispatched after the dramatic snow slide hit the Alpine Meadows ski area at around 10 a.m., according to a tweet from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. Officials believe there are no other victims.
The incident occurred near a ski run dubbed “Subway,” and the resort remained open after the avalanche while areas around the ski run were shuttered, the sheriff’s office said, according to weather.com.
