Trump impeachment will bring Pelosi and
House Democrats condemnation by history

Original Article

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., seemed giddy Wednesday as she announced the impeachment managers who would go to the Senate and attempt to prosecute a case against President Trump. “He’s been impeached forever,” Pelosi said. (Snip) The judgment of history is going to be that a group of scoundrels in control of the U.S. House of Representatives placed partisan interests above the country, undermined the Constitution, weakened America in the world, and lied about the duly elected president of the United States. This will become Pelosi’s moment of shame, and Trump’s moment of redemption.

Gingrich is not only a former House Speaker himself but a former professor of history. He well knows that history is written by the victors and Pelosi and her ilk will stop at nothing in order to be victorious. She and her fellow Leftists are unrelenting, singleminded and ruthless in their quest to fundamentally transform the U.S. into a Marxist country. She doesn’t care about ideology, she’s simply willing to impoverish other people for her own gain. She is a viper and bears constant watching until we are finally rid of her but for now she is formidable. If she gets her way history books will write of her moral superiority and President Trump’s avarice. I hope Mr. Gingrich is right that she will fail but meanwhile she is flooding the country with immigrants, using Washington as a gangster’s lair, breaking the law with no consequences, intimidating opponents, threatening gun ownership and the electoral college, etc. to stack the deck and write her own version of history.

With courtiers already alarmed at how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to cash in on their royal connections, this will have them reaching for the smelling salts. I hear that Meghan plans to become more 'politically engaged' now that she and Prince Harry have quit official duties. 'The Duchess is said to be frustrated that she was forced to stay out of politics after getting engaged to Harry,' a royal source tells me. One House Democrat's accusation amid the Trump impeachment trial “stunned” even the most moderate of Senate Republicans, reportedly prompting GOP Sen. Susan Collins to write a note to Chief Justice John Roberts about decorum on the floor of the upper chamber. Collins, R-Maine, is the latest to signal her concerns, after impeachment manager Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., asserted earlier this week that GOP senators were engaged in a “cover-up.”(Snip)Collins is among a small group of Republican senators seen as a possible swing vote on impeachment and a possible supporter of allowing more witness testimony later on in the trial.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - If Ohio Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown had his druthers, the U.S. Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump that started Tuesday would be handled very differently. (Snip) “Senator (Mitch) McConnell is simply rigging the system,” Brown said of the Senate Majority leader from Kentucky. “He keeps us in until two in the morning, but people stop watching. He’s taken the cameras out of the Senate Chamber because he doesn’t want the American public to see, in the dead of night, fundamentally what he’s doing, and we owe it to our country to do better than that.”

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Women in four key states – Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin—could decide who occupies the White House next year. And they may be turning away from President Donald Trump, according to a newly released poll. Yet, many women voters in these states remain undecided. And women at this point are a little less motivated than men to vote in November’s presidential election, according to the poll from Baldwin Wallace, Ohio Northern and Michigan’s Oakland universities. In the Great Lakes states, more women voters said they would support the Democratic Party’s yet unnamed candidate over Trump if the election were held today.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that part of the Democrats' strategy during President Trump's Senate impeachment trial is to find "four Jeff Flakes" within the Republican caucus to challenge Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's proposed rules for the trial. "Their primary focus [Tuesday]... They are targeting four Republican senators to vote with them to go against McConnell’s rules to open it up to new evidence and new witnesses," Limbaugh said on his nationally syndicated radio show.

On the first day of the Senate impeachment trial, President Trump’s lawyers were caught off-guard and unprepared. White House counsel Pat Cipollone and a crew of several other lawyers for the president arrived for their first day of the trial, apparently expecting things to start off slowly with sleepy arguments over the rules for the trial. Opening arguments were not expected until Wednesday.(Snip)Schiff ambushed Cipollone and Trump’s team of lawyers, launching immediately into a passionate, comprehensive and piercing set of arguments about why the House impeached the president in December for withholding $400 million in military aid to Ukraine to pressure its government

President Donald Trump has one more distinction he can add to an unprecedented White House tenure. The president has blown past individual Democratic presidential campaigns in fundraising for his 2020 reelection bid. But the crowded primary field together more than tripled his 2019 cash haul, according to a CNBC analysis of Federal Election Commission filings and campaign statements. No incumbent president this century has been so thoroughly outraised by a field of challengers in the year before a reelection contest. The main Republican challengers to President Barack Obama in 2012 barely took in more than the incumbent in 2011.
