House Democrats say in a brief filed ahead of impeachment trial arguments that President Donald Trump 'abandoned his oath to faithfully execute the laws and betrayed his public trust.' They also called his conduct the 'worst nightmare' of the country's founding fathers. 'President Trump’s misconduct presents a danger to our democratic processes, our national security, and our commitment to the rule of law. He must be removed from office,' the House Democrats write in their brief. 'History will judge each Senator's willingness to rise above partisan differences, view the facts honestly, and defend the Constitution,' the managers wrote.

Nice Try! Those Democrats involved in this sham should go on the Bozo show in Chicago! They certainly should be voted out of office for doing NOTHING or the voters who put them there to get actual work done!

Every one of these insane rants will just drive more sane people to vote for President Trump in November!!!

The shampeachment articles claim abuse of power and obstruction. The 5 pager brief destroyed those claims. These 111 pages say he failed to execute laws and betrayed the public trust. The 111 pager, by barfing up new claims, fails to support the impeachment articles (as if they could be supported!). I fear I bought too much popcorn...this is going to end too quickly

They sure are master manipulators. They have also mastered the art of Perception Management and spin. Their lies are so disgusting. But they are so good at their con game that the general sheeple believe that garbage.

111 pages (which Trump's lawyers answered in 6). Like they say, if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with ... you know the rest of the story.

I love the irony-free term "111-page brief."

In my dream world, these same words that they falsely use against the President will be used against Obama, Clintons, Comey, Brennan, Mueller, et al.

Really? How about this. Let's investigate these managers like they did President Trump. I want years of effort and millions of dollars spent with the media reporting every ting conclusion anyone has about them. I would bet every dollar I have that within a year you would uncover crimes that would lead to prosecution and conviction for every one of them. They need and the nation needs serious push back against the coup. I hope that happens soon.

The actual threat to national security is demonrats with their open borders, shoveling money to jihadis, ruining the economy with excessive regulations and taxes as well as forcing businesses to leave the USA for foreign countries, reducing morals to the level of all perverts, wasteful worthless spending of tax dollars, and their repeated attempts to destroy the Bill of Rights.

“America's national security,” means, “...deep state criminal pensioners hoping to skate before indictment...”

It is not President Trump who has betrayed public trust; it is not President Trump who is the ‘worst nightmare’ of the country’s founding fathers; it is not President Trump’s presenting a danger to our democratic processes, national security, and rule of law; it is not President Trump who must be removed from office. As so aptly stated by NewtGingrich in an opinion piece posted earlier, history’s judgment will show that scoundrels in control of the U. S. House placed their partisan interests above country, Constitution, America, and lied about President Trump. And, NancyPelosi’s giddiness will become shame at President Trump’s redemption.
