On January 17, 2020, President Donald Trump pointed to the gun control situation in Virginia, noting that it proves once more the Democrats “will take your guns” if voted into office. He made this point amid the all-out war on guns by Gov. Ralph Northam (D) and the newly elected Democrat majority in the state legislature. (Tweet) Virginia Democrats started this week intent on passing legislation allowing a total ban on the ownership of AR-15s and similar guns, but they dropped the confiscatory bill after thousands of NRA members flooded the hallways outside state Senate offices.Yet the Democrats are still pushing an “assault weapons” ban that would only allow

It will be interesting to see how Governor Blackface Baby Killer does up against 90% of his state’s counties declaring themselves 2nd amendment sanctuaries. Looks to me like he doesn’t stand a chance. There is hope for Virginia - their laws only allow governors one term in office.

President Trump: "Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!" If the know-nothing dimmocrats outlaw AR-15s they will leave gun owners with another choice, longer rifles that are more accurate from a greater range. Virginia's police forces have been annoying drivers there for a long time with traffic stops being expensive, picky and frequent. I suggest they back off. I already have a personal policy to never drive through the state if I can help it.

Sometimes you don't know what you're buying until you take it home, but now Northam and his cronies have been laid bare for all to see, and will be thrown out, and the voters will be left a little wiser.

You can't vote for a democrat, no matter how nice and friendly they seem, because they have bought into the democrat party's agenda. Otherwise, they wouldn't be a democrat! Besides, we have seen how democrats play the old ''bait and switch'' game on voters. Promise any and everything, then just feather their own nest!

I'm watching Virginia because my state has turned royal blue top to bottom with baby killer democrats. There were rumblings about confiscating guns and 'closing loopholes' and counties have become 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties. The state is silent now possibly waiting to see how successful Virginia is. This is what democrats do kill babies and take your 2nd Amendment rights away.

#15, if Virginia isn't careful, the only thing left would be a couple of counties on the south side of DC and a few around Richmond. They could lose the rest of the state, and maybe have a deepwater port and the largest naval base in the world all in West Virginia. LOL!

Thousands of Central American migrants tried to push their way across a bridge spanning the Suchiate River between Mexico and Guatemala. Honduran migrants waved their country's flag and sang the national anthem as they approached the bridge. At the height of the confrontation, Guatemalan authorities estimated 2,500 migrants were on the bridge, or attempting to get on it. When I was in eighth grade, a teacher announced we were going to study capital punishment. The methodology for this process was that the class was divided randomly in half, and each side was assigned the task of writing an essay: one half pro, one half con. After we had completed our essays, the students engaged in open debate about this complex issue. Perhaps this sort of objective process of critical thinking is still practiced in some American schools, but it surely seems scarce. In its place, secular liberalism, and "progressivism," have become the Church of the American State, administered through public schools.

If the Trump era has taught us anything, it's that large numbers of white people in the United States are motivated at least in part by racism in the voting booth. Donald Trump ran an openly racist campaign for president, calling Mexicans rapists and criminals, regularly retweeting white supremacists and at least initially balking at repudiating former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. Trump made it clear in his campaign that "Make America Great Again" meant that America was greater when white people's power was more sweeping and more secure. White voters approved of that message by a whopping 58 percent to 37 percent.

President Donald Trump made a stark appeal to black Americans during the 2016 election when he asked, “What have you got to lose?” Three years later, black Americans have rendered their verdict on his presidency with a deeply pessimistic assessment of their place in the United States under a leader seen by an overwhelming majority as racist. The findings come from a Washington Post-Ipsos poll of African Americans nationwide, which reveals fears about whether their children will have a fair shot to succeed and a belief that white Americans don’t fully appreciate the discrimination that black people experience.
