Hours after he was born in 1989, Freddie Figgers was set down next to a dumpster in a rural area of Florida's panhandle.
A passerby found him alone and in distress, and called police. The infant was hospitalized with minor injuries for two days, then placed in a foster home. The couple who took him in, Nathan and Betty Figgers, lived in nearby Quincy, Florida, and already had a daughter.

Congressional records reveal that Hunter Biden, now 49, was arrested in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where the Biden family has often holidayed over the years, in June 1988. I think the Democrats’ behavior this week includes several “tells” that their impeachment hand is weak, and might cause them to lose the whole political pot next year.

The Wharton School of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania has released its own study of Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren's "wealth tax" proposal and, to no one's surprise, discovered that her revenue projections for how much the tax would add to the treasury are wildly optimistic.
Warren claims the tax will bring in $3.7 trillion over 10 years. The Wharton study reveals a more realistic number not based on fantasy-land assumptions: $2.3 trillion. Not only that, the tax will dramatically affect economic growth and shrink the wealth of the very people she claims to be helping: the middle class.

’Tis the season when we celebrate a divine redeemer, Jesus Christ Greta Thunberg, descending to Earth to save fallen man. If the world gave Greta a Peloton instead of praise this Christmas, all would benefit.
In honoring Thunberg as the “Person of the Year,” Time magazine honors itself. She validated “The Heat Is On,” “Be Worried. Be Very Worried.,” “The Global Warming Survival Guide,” and other magazine headlines variably overlaying cover scenes of a penguin or a polar bear on an ice raft, fiery images out of The Divine Comedy, or portraits of a fragile planet.
In the middle of Russia fever, the liberal press took a hectoring tone to any outlet that showed a glimmer of doubt. How dare any journalist not believe that President Trump is an agent of Vladimir Putin! Who would question the upstanding virtues of the FBI?
Of course, we now know that the conspiracy theories were wrong. There was no Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.
And, moreover, the inspector general report proves that the FBI trampled over civil liberties and common sense in pursuit of the case. While idle conversation during a meeting with George Papadopoulos and an Australian official may have sparked the inquiry,

If cosmic justice were to prevail, Democrats would drop their impeachment sham in confessed disgrace and move to give President Donald Trump a second term by acclamation for having ceaselessly abused their power in trying to nullify his first term.
