President Trump took to Twitter on Friday to congratulate U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson after Johnson and his Conservative Party won easily in the country’s general election, which was seen as a clear mandate to deliver on Brexit. Johnson’s Conservative Party was on track early Friday to win an overwhelming parliamentary majority in Britain’s general election, as Labour Party strongholds across the country swung dramatically to the Tories -- and immediately led left-wing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to announce his intention to step down. "Congratulations to Boris Johnson on his great WIN! Britain and the United States will now be free to strike a massive new Trade Deal after BREXIT," Trump said.

What a turn of events. It seems that accusing a person of being a Russian stooge is the new road to victory. Brexit will be good for Britain and a huge slap in the face to elite Europe.

Yes, it looks like Shillary's attempt at meddling in a foreign election totally failed. I am wondering if the Scotts would be less inclined to break away from the UK with Johnson's election?

President Trump talked to Prime MinisterJohnson? Suggested a possible trade deal? Obviously collusion and quid-pro-quo in the works here. Nadler needs to add this as additional impeachment articles. Also, Trump hung up the phone first--very unpresidential. Democrats demand release of the transcript.

What is being shadowed somewhat in the Brexit drumbeat is that the UK voters firmly rejected Labor's extreme Left policies on the environment, health care etc. Are Bolshie Bernie, Pocahontas or Taco Barbie listening? Nah...

It's like this: the left has pushed so far that people were ready for a landslide return to sanity and common sense. Brexit is all about independence, tradition and identity, something the American people longed for also. Enough, already with the globalist, touchy-feely, politically-correct, multiculti, socialist, identity politics bull cookies. When the lefties and remainers tried to overrule the will of the British people they got a swift kick in the pants. In the U.S. the lefties are trying to overrule the will of the American voters. What will be the end result? Landslides, anyone?

Not to nitpick #1's comment but it may be that it is an 'aftershadowing' of what our president has accomplished in what we hope is his young term in office.

My stalker just won’t go away. Ten years ago, he murdered my husband, Ben, right in front of me in the middle of a busy restaurant. But my nightmare didn’t end with my stalker’s incarceration, as I recently found out that he is writing me letters from prison. The letters show absolutely no remorse and profess his twisted love for me. This man already terrified me, and what he has written has made me even more fearful. I have nightmares about the threat that he poses to me and my loved ones after his release from prison. Ben and I used to run a karaoke business in the evenings,

Talk about chutzpah. The vote to empower Prime Minister Boris Johnson to get Brexit done is being seized upon by Vice President Biden as a sign that the ex-veep should be the Democratic nominee for president. That’s because, Business Insider reports, Mr. Biden figures Britain’s election shows that only a centrist can beat President Trump. “Boris Johnson is winning in a walk,” Business Insider quotes Mr. Biden as telling newsmen at a Coast fundraiser as results started coming in from yesterday’s vote. Mr. Biden predicted that pundits would say: “Look what happens when the Labor Party moves so, so far to the left. It comes up with ideas

They say that good things come in threes, and last week President Trump hit the trifecta on trade. First, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took a brief break from the partisan process aimed at removing Trump from office and agreed to pass the USMCA, the newly negotiated replacement for NAFTA. This deal will guarantee the continued relatively free flow of goods across the Mexican and Canadian borders. Second, the United States and China reached a trade deal that will at least modestly deescalate the trade war raging between the world’s two largest economies. For now, tariffs will remain in place, but the U.S.

When it comes to the unlawful surveillance on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the most important question is, what did President Obama know and when did he know it? If we are to believe the testimony in the Justice Department inspector general’s report on FISA abuse, Obama didn’t know anything about the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Neither did his attorney general, her deputy, or anyone in the White House. At least not that they can recall – an expression used over 200 times in the report. Yet against this we have the Sept. 2, 2016, text message from Lisa Page to her paramour Peter Strzok saying “POTUS wants to know everything we are doing.”

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. — A Wisconsin judge on Friday ordered that the registration of up to 234,000 voters be tossed out because they may have moved, a victory for conservatives that could make it more difficult for people to vote next year in the key swing state. The judge sided with three voters represented by a conservative law firm who argued the state elections commission should have immediately deactivated any of the roughly 234,000 voters who didn’t respond to an October mailing within 30 days. The voters were flagged as having potentially moved.

Little over a week on from the sad demise of the Kamala Harris presidential campaign, the California senator is the bookies’ favorite to be the Democratic vice presidential candidate. Yes, despite her candidacy’s high-point coming at the expense of Joe Biden in the first debate — shivving the front-runner for holding a stance on busing remarkably similar to her own — there have been rumblings about her being the right woman to balance his ticket. In most presidential elections, the vice presidential candidates do not matter — arguably the only one to move the needle in the past 50 years was Sarah Palin, and not in a good way.

Joe Biden’s son Hunter was arrested on Jersey Shore drug charges in 1988 and had his record expunged at a time when his father was pushing for the incarceration of drug offenders drawn disproportionately from minority groups. Congressional records reveal that Hunter Biden, now 49, was arrested in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where the Biden family has often holidayed over the years, in June 1988. Hunter Biden, then 18, had just graduated from the prestigious Archmere Academy prep school, which his father had also attended. The former vice president and his wife Jill have often been spotted on trips to Stone Harbor. The arrest has not previously been reported.

Perhaps if Democrats would momentarily shelve their obsession with Donald Trump, they’d comprehend the staggering abuse of power they’re defending these days. Because much of Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing with DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz was jaw-dropping. Horowitz’s testimony, in fact, sounded little like the media depiction of the IG report only the day before. Most major outlets had stressed that the IG had found no bias in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But failing to uncover explicit instances of bias and exonerating the FBI aren’t the same thing. Worse, most of the media had buried the lede. An honest headline would have read something like: “Obama’s FBI cooked up

In the middle of Russia fever, the liberal press took a hectoring tone to any outlet that showed a glimmer of doubt. How dare any journalist not believe that President Trump is an agent of Vladimir Putin! Who would question the upstanding virtues of the FBI? Of course, we now know that the conspiracy theories were wrong. There was no Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. And, moreover, the inspector general report proves that the FBI trampled over civil liberties and common sense in pursuit of the case. While idle conversation during a meeting with George Papadopoulos and an Australian official may have sparked the inquiry,

It started last month, when the U.K.’s leftwing Guardian newspaper reported the existence of a secret report that said the Russians spent five years “cultivating leading Tories including Johnson…” The 50-page “dossier” from the U.K.’s intelligence and security committee is “based on analysis from Britain’s intelligence agencies, as well as third-party experts

BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- Salvador Castillo was yearning for tranquility when he became enchanted by a one-acre homestead close -- but not too close -- to the city, a place where cows graze beneath whispering mesquite trees on the property's edge. Castillo, an Afghanistan war veteran, and his wife bought the home using military benefits and grew their family into their new neighborhood -- about half a mile from a bend in the Rio Grande. They never imagined a border wall could dissect their property someday. But the first letter, stamped with an official government seal, arrived about a year ago.
