The Obama’s Administration’s FISA

Perhaps if Democrats would momentarily shelve their obsession with Donald Trump, they’d comprehend the staggering abuse of power they’re defending these days. Because much of Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing with DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz was jaw-dropping. Horowitz’s testimony, in fact, sounded little like the media depiction of the IG report only the day before. Most major outlets had stressed that the IG had found no bias in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But failing to uncover explicit instances of bias and exonerating the FBI aren’t the same thing. Worse, most of the media had buried the lede. An honest headline would have read something like: “Obama’s FBI cooked up

FTA: 'What, for instance, stops Republicans from cobbling together their own salacious “dossier,” sending it to friends in the executive branch and law enforcement, using it to obtain FISA warrants, leaking it to a compliant media, all while propelling an investigation that smears a bunch of their adversaries for political reasons?' I'll tell you what: there would be NO 'compliant media' for a Republican version of the conspiracy/coup the Commiecrats cooked up against our President. A fraudulent, slavering media is essential to the process.

The judges that renewed the FISA warrants again and again at best are incompetent or at worst complicit in this vendetta against President Trump and his supporters. The FISA court should have condemned those who presented these specious warrant applications to them. To date, they have done nothing. Maybe they just like having the DoJ/FBI make them look like drooling idiots. #Rubber stamp

#4, I’ve been asking that question since this entire story broke almost 3 years ago. If I were a FISA judge, I would be outraged that the FBI lied to me and used me as a dupe in their little conspiracy. The fact that we’ve heard nothing from these judges tells me that they are never-Trumpers and are part of that same conspiracy.

More likely they are sitting there with the same smug looks on their evil faces knowing that they can buy almost anybody off now. Just because Obama managed to have his name avoid attachment to the problems, his administration was full of scandal and high crimes. Fast and Furious, Benghazi, FISA, releasing terrible terrorists for the release of an American deserter terrorist wannabe, and so on. How about that river that Obama's EPA destroyed in the Southwest late in his presidency? How much wildlife, water life died, and farmer's left high and dry were there? Not enough bandwidth to list all the crimes and scandals of Obama.

The FISA abuse in the Trump case is the fallout from a massive coverup campaign. It wouldn't have been necessary if Trump hadn't won. The real, and so far under reported, scandal, is the weaponization of the organs of Government to attack the "enemies" of the political "elite" (i.e. uniparty or "Deep State"). First and foremost to remember, this was done withe full support and cooperation of most of the major players in the Obama administration, including Obama himself. Along with the IRS, notable the FBI and CIA were engaged in domestic political spying and other shenanigans. Much of what we are seeing was put into place prior to the 2012 election, but was not needed because Willard was such a weak candidate. Trump really shook things up and the full weight was thrown against him when we secured the Republican nomination. The Cabal went nuts when Trump was actually elected President. With Trump and not Hillary as President, their seriously illegal activities were not going to be safe from discovery and/or prosecution (like the Hillary and House and DNC e-mail debacles). The CIA/FBI engaged 2 assets, Misfud and Halper to plant "Russia, Russia, Russia" information then with assistance of like-minded foreign governments maneuvered the railroading of Page and Papadopalous. New(ish) and uncooperative NSA chief Admiral Rogers dropped the first real bob on the conspirators when he briefed Trump on the illegal use of NSA intercepts directed toward him and his transition team. Subsequently, Trumps' transition team decamped to Trump's New Jersey golf club and Admiral Rogers was fired by Obama. The Page FISA warrant was necessary to provide cover for the illicit NSA intercept collection that had been going on with regards to the Trump campaign (the "insurance policy"). Flynn had to be taken out because he is a true patriot and as such he was too dangerous to the conspirators to have remain in Trump's confidence. The conspirators managed they're only victory when the maneuvered having then AG Sessions recuse himself and getting Muller appointed as Special Council. 22 months later and $35 million later, that imploded in their faces. They needed something else - enter the "Whistleblower". Conveniently, the Intel IG changed the "whistleblowwer" rules just in time to allow the reporting of rumor and hearsay. Hmm. Now it's "Ukraine", "Quid Pro Quo" and "bribery" (all that despite the lack of actual evidence). On to the Impeachment! With the IG report we are getting the first widely-covered look in the swamp, Here's hoping that results of the Barr and Dunam investigation drops before the next election. I want to see a bunch of "perp walks".

I really, really hope that AG Barr will treat it as a massive criminal conspiracy and put about 3 dozen top folks at FBI, CIA and DoJ in prison for about 20 years each. But until then.....it isn't much of anything, at least from a legal standpoint. Just a lot of handwringing and jawing.

Remember FISA is part of the anti terrorism "Patriot Act" called for after 9/11. Recall how vocal the left was that the Patriot Act was a dangerous thing and shouldn't be passed. We on the right never thought for a second that the government would abuse the act to spy on our own people, much less political rivals. We never thought someone as crooked as Hillary and Obama could do what they did. I think if we start pointing out how the "Patriot Act" was abused by the Obama administration, we might get through to some of the lefties who were against it in the first place. They were right, the act could be used against Americans. We just never believed our government would turn against us, ala Obama and his minions.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.
