Ex-Fox News host Gretchen Carlson is calling upon her former employer to release her from her nondisclosure agreement. In an op-ed published in The New York Times on Thursday, Carlson, 53, says her NDA prevents her from talking about the sexual harassment she was subject to at the hands of Roger Ailes, the late CEO and chairman of Fox News. Carlson said she felt like she secured a victory when the network allowed her to speak about harassment generally.

If they release the chains that are stifling you from spending the 20 million bucks you black mailed them out of will you promise to keep your panties on when you're in front of the camera?

You signed a contract and were paid. Both parties being required to perform as written. That is the reason for contracts. If you want a release, then send the money back.

She’s a has been. I never really cared for her. She thought because she was Miss America she should have special treatment. Has she already spent the millions she was awarded? It sounds like she needs $$$$$ or attention Again! I never did buy her charges of sexual harassment...she waited after her contract was not renewed to accuse. She was an adult woman that should reported her so called charges immediately. You signed a contract so shut up!

I wish someone would harass me. I'd love to walk away with $20,000,000.

I've never gotten a 20 million dollar settlement, but I've signed NDAs for much smaller settlements over the years. It's pretty much standard procedure in settled lawsuits and most of us abide by it, Ms. Carlson. Stop your whining.

She can't just give the money back-FOX has to agree to it. The legal agreement they hammered out was You, Gretchen Carlson, will STFU if you accept this money. If you accept the money, by Shutting TFU you will be performing your obligation to the deal. By FOX paying you we perform our obligation to the deal. What you choose to do with the money after you get it is your business-we will gladly take it if you give it to us but nowhere in the deal does it say you'll be let out of your obligation unless we grant our consent..

Sorry, sweetcheeks - you signed on the dotted line, and took the check. And, you were represented by counsel when you did it.

So you enjoyed it so much, you want to talk about, and reminisce about the good old days. Well good for you. Just give back the money and let's talk.

You can't have it both ways, Gretch. Give back the money in accordance with the terms of your agreement, and you can yak your head off. Not that anyone outside of D.C. or NYC will listen (or care).
