A Chick-fil-A in Manhattan was vandalized Sunday, during the World Pride Parade.As first reported by the Daily Caller, cross-shaped pink tape that read "F--k haters" marked the front window of the midtown Manhattan location, which was closed during the parade for Sunday. NEW YORK — A group of New York Police Department officers made sure a fetus discarded on a Brooklyn street months ago got a proper funeral - to the mournful sound of an NYPD bagpipe.
For Saturday’s service, six officers carried the tiny casket into the Basilica of our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood.
The funeral was organized by the Life Center of New York anti-abortion group, with Roman Catholic parishioners attending.

A woman who fell by a collapsed "wet floor" sign at Jack Casino was awarded $3 million this past week by a Hamilton County jury. Lynda Sadowski walked toward the sign, which lay flat on the floor, in September 2016. Customers had knocked it over, and a Jack employee walked around it but failed to pick it up moments before Sadowski tripped over it, according to her attorney Matt Nakajima.

Life is too short to spend it on phony debates when you can see the highlights in videos and read the text of the remarks. The word peddlers are each picking their claims as to who won. The Washington Post is all-in on stoking the fire of public harassment of Trump supporters, denying them public accommodations. So much for civility and mutual respect.

I’ve got it. But it wasn’t Kamala Harris (rhetorically) whipping Joe Biden. That’s what Democrats would rather focus on, because it’s easier than the inadvertently revealed truth that could doom their political chances.
They would rather cling to Harris’ dissection of Biden, and hope you do too.
It did offer great drama: a tired old white guy reduced to babbling and a younger, smarter black woman putting him in his place and finishing off his political career.
Over four hours of debate among what felt like a thousand Democratic candidates, a few notable topics scarcely came up. There was no heated tussle over jobs plans. No argument over how to set the national debt on a better path, and no proposals to balance the budget or change the country’s entitlement structure. There was less discussion of getting work to America’s forgotten communities than in the last election cycle.

Jared Kushner’s two-day ‘Peace to Prosperity’ workshop in Bahrain, the administration claims, was the first step in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians sent delegations. The roll-out of the strategy paper that preceded it was met with near silence. America’s regional partners provided only lukewarm support to Kushner’s efforts and, not least, the workshop was amateurishly misnamed. Kushner believes it’s actually ‘prosperity to peace’ — not the other way around.
The workshop’s results, or lack of them, were predictable. But criticism among those who have been down this road before has been muted, partly because of Kushner’s quiet but focused effort to solicit their views.
For all the effort the press puts into agonizing over right-wing conspiracy mongers, it would be nice if newsrooms devoted even an ounce of that same energy to worrying about the Left’s conspiracists.
I am talking about the Democratic election truthers. They are loud, they are proud, and they are a hell of a lot more high-profile than social media trolls.
