‘Nobel Prize in stupidity’: Holocaust
survivor wants AOC out of Congress

There are few remaining survivors of concentration camps. Ed Mosberg is one of them. And the 93-year-old from Morris Plains, NJ, has no time for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s statements last week, when she called the southern border’s migrant detention centers “concentration camps.” “She should be removed from Congress. She’s spreading anti-Semitism, hatred and stupidity,” Mosberg told The Post. “The people on the border aren’t forced to be there — they go there on their own will. If someone doesn’t know the difference, either they’re playing stupid or they just don’t care.”

"But when other members of Congress encouraged the freshman representative to take Mosberg up on the offer, AOC publicly declined. She tweeted to Iowa Rep. Steve King: “The last time you went on this trip it was reported that you also met w/ fringe Austrian neo-Nazi groups to talk shop. So I’m going to have to decline your invite. But thank you for revealing to all how transparently the far-right manipulates these moments for political gain.” Does she understand that it wasn't the far-right manipulating situations? Adolph Hitler belonged to the Socialist Party - a platform that she and Bernie Sanders supports. . .

Considering how Democrats keep re-electing people like Pelosi and Mad Maxine, its not a stretch they will re-elect AOC provided she is in a 'safe' district (she is). Odds are good the lady is corrupt. Keep investigating her until she is lead away in handcuffs is likely the best option to get rid of her. There is a force behind the blind stupidity driving AOC. That force is hatred. She hates anything that isn't pro-Communist. She also has a sick pride that makes her believe she is better and smarter than everyone else around her. It helps go far out on a limb again and again making outrageous comments.

"Eventually you will see she will lose all the Jewish vote in New York." One would hope that is true but the stupidity of many voters indicates otherwise. These people do not see an IQ-challenged, Socialist believer in Unicorns, they see a Hispanic woman who used to be a bartender with whom they identify and trust with one of the most important jobs in the world. I will not be surprised even a smidgen if she wins her next election.

AOC may or may not be "stupid". But her real problem is that she is ignorant and dangerous. Ignorance can be remedied by learning, if one is willing to learn, and I suspect AOC is not willing to do so. And even if AOC should happen to be confronted by someone like Morris Plains face to face, she would no doubt claim she has been misunderstood, or worse, that she is right.

Don’t assume AOC doesn’t know what’s what. Hitler said things as outrageous as AOC, but he was neither stupid nor ignorant. He was manipulative. As his propaganda chief said, “Tell a big enough lie often enough, and the majority of the people will believe you.” That’s standard Dem operating procedure. AOC has simply brought it to a higher (or lower) level.

I joined Vice President Mike Pence and members of the Senate Judiciary Committee Friday in a visit to a migrant detention center in Texas to witness firsthand how much work we have left to do to secure our southern border. The situation is dire. Smuggling cartels tell lies about instant asylum and open borders and have drawn migrants by the hundreds of thousands to border stations near McAllen and El Paso in Texas, along with other crossings along the Rio Grande. It isn’t until they arrive that migrants discover the truth: applying for legal entry into the United States is a long, confusing process. There are rules –

Can a candidate who is leading the field by 12 points be weak? That's the question of Joe Biden's run for the Democratic presidential nomination. The fact is, Biden's campaign is showing signs of weakness. So is the candidate himself. And doing pushups, as Biden suggested he might do to show up President Trump, won't make him any stronger. In mid-May, Biden led the sprawling Democratic field by 26 points in the RealClearPolitics average of national polls. By late May, the lead was 17 points. By late June, it was 15 points. Today, it is 12. So Biden's lead is still big,

The election of Donald Trump has pulled American debate away from objectivity and turned publications into actors in a political battle. After Donald Trump’s election, the New Yorker magazine lost no time nailing its colors to the anti-Trump mast. David Remnick, its editor, lamented that Obama – a ‘man of integrity, dignity, and generous spirit’ – was being supplanted by ‘vulgarity unbounded, a knowledge-free national leader’ who would ‘set markets tumbling’, ‘strike fear into the hearts of the vulnerable, the weak’ etc. This set the tone for the magazine’s subsequent reporting.

Here we go again. This week, President Trump appeared to renew his threat to withdraw from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) if Democrats do not pass his new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). His threats may worry pro-trade Republicans, but they are music to the ears of anti-NAFTA Democrats, who would love nothing better than to get rid of NAFTA without giving Trump a trade victory. Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has a better idea: Trump should tell Democrats that they will own NAFTA if they oppose his deal to replace it. As we settle into high summer and the period of maximum difficulty in finding anything to fill in hours of television news, especially 24/7 news television, two well-established political trends are emerging in this pre-electoral period: The president’s opponents continue to dig themselves into foxholes that they will not be able to escape, and the president’s tactical victories continue to be compromised by his verbal sloppiness. In completely nonpartisan terms, both phenomena are disappointing. The process of the president’s leaving verbal lapses for his enemies to exploit, and of the Democrats and national media doing so excessively, is more complicated than it seems.
