Quillette journalist Andy Ngo was hospitalized Saturday night with a brain bleed following a brutal attack by Antifa thugs as he covered dueling left-right demonstrations in Portland, Oregon, Ngo’s attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon said.Video of the attack shows Ngo being beaten by several Antifa attackers and having “milkshakes” thrown on him. Portland police said the Antifa milkshakes reportedly were made with quick-dry cement. When wet, cement acts as a chemical agent that burns skin. (Photo)

My suggestion to Mr. Ngo is to identify the organization's principals, then use RICO lawsuits to Clean Their Clocks!

How does this story fit in with the SC decision that police have no duty to protect the public? Apparently they're no good at all in Portland. I agree with #1. Where's the vaulted FBi when it comes to home grown terrorists wearing masks? Apparently they're no good at all either.

These terrorists should be shackled and hauled away the moment they are seen on the streets. Law enforcement has been corrupted when BLM or Antifa can do as they please. One of the FBI's most important tasks is to control domestic terrorism. If you can't do the job, step down and let real Americans protect their country. Obama-era thuggery is still happening. Heed the advice of #6.

How much more of our country do we cede before we take action? Time to serve the leadership in these areas with declarations of independence and prepare to fight. The tacit acceptance of this behavior, through inaction on the part of the law abiding citizens, has only increased its frequency. We cannot just keep moving away when the other side commits assault, including assault on our businesses. We are no longer free people if we cannot safely eat at restaurants, walk the streets of our cities, visit monuments, attend college, send our children to school's free from the left's indoctrination, run our businesses according to our our moral values or hold and vote in honest and fair elections. The behavior of the left is NOT acceptable in a civilized and free society. Are there enough liberty minded people willing to risk everything to take this country back?

Where are the Portland police? Why isn't law enforcement locking up Antifa goons by the dozens? These masked hooligans intend to inflict serious injury--even death--on those with whom they disagree. The proper response to a potentially deadly attack is a deadly counterattack. When one of these violent criminals takes the room temperature challenge after being shot by someone he was beating up, maybe the rest of them will learn a valuable lesson. Outside a ski resort, anyone wearing a mask is up to no good. A good fighter finding himself in the midst of Antifa would have a nice time unmasking the violent criminals. As for me, I would not only unmask the Antifa hood--I'd take his pants off as well. Strip him naked.

The mayor of the city of Portland and two of the commissioners do not like or support the police. The city of Portland is having trouble hiring police officers after a lot of retirements in the last few years. No one with any sense wants to work in that environment. Portland police (as well as police across the nation) are not being proactive like they used to be when they feel if they use force for any reason, they're guilty until proven innocent. Like #6 said, arm yourselves. They're not as many police out there anymore to protect you if need be.

About 73,000 customers lost power in parts of Manhattan’s Midtown and Upper West Side neighborhoods for several hours just as evening fell on the city’s central entertainment district.
