On Saturday afternoon Quillette gay Asian journalist Andy Ngo was beaten and robbed by several Antifa attackers at a Portland protest march. Ngo was later hospitalized Saturday night with a brain bleed following the brutal Antifa attack as he covered dueling left-right demonstrations in Portland, Oregon, Ngo’s attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon said. (Tweet)

the LEADERS of the terrorists - this guy, Joe (Physical Revolution) Biden and, virtually ALL the rest of the "democrats", must be sued into penury - PERSONALLY - for fomenting these attacks.. if anyone is injured, like Ngo, the perps must go to prison FOR LIFE, for attempted murder.. i say this out of kindness to THEM, for their own protection.. because ONE of these days..the brother or friend of one of these injured parties is gonna get REALLY violent against these Portland Mayor types..

When the government won't protect its citizens, the only recourse is for the citizens to protect themselves. When the government attempts to interfere with this self protection, it is time to protect ourselves from the government. We have a second amendment for a reason and it is not to allow us to hunt game or plink at tin cans.

Where are the voices of the Oregon Representatives on this, Susan Bonamici (D), Petyer DeFazio (D), Earl Blumenauer (D), Kurt Schrader (D), and Greg Walden (R)? My, my..just look at what the GD Democrats have done to Oregon. Just look at what the voters of Oregon have done to the citizens of Oregon!

If they keep this up, someone is going to get shot and they will all pretend to be "so surprised at the violence of the right".....what a concept, not accepting having the hell beat out of you without fighting back, with a gun. They are already drawing blood, many times, and things will eventually turn around unless LE starts protecting people and arresting these folks. And not just arresting and jailing for a few hours, charges dropped as most seem to do. These thugs need to get some max time in jail for their violence.

Senator Cruz wades into the muck to ask for an investigation here. I will respect him more when he calls for an investigation into the attempted coup of the President, when Senator Cruz supports our President, and not McConnell, when he says he is going to put a tariff on Mexico, unless they help us with the border. But Senator Cruz hasn't done any of that, even though Senator Cruz is Senator Cruz because President Trump came to Texas to make sure that he stayed Senator. Quit minimizing yourself, Senator Cruz, by little things, like the stab in the back at the Republican Convention, rather than having the grace to endorse the winner. I voted for Senator Cruz to push him past Beto, a nonsensical fool, but I expect more from Cruz than growing a beard, although it does make him look better.

Until illegals are deported, and the vote by mail scam is abolished, the fraud from the democrats is pretty cemented into the state. Now Portland is a whole other kettle of fish. The rest of Oregon has been trying to dump democrats, but again, until the former method of voting is put back in place instead of vote by mail, we will never see the end of the scam in this state. It is going to take Federal action I suspect to put a stop to these thugs and terrorists. And even their enablers in City Hall, from the mayor on down.

"privileges and immunities" clause in the 14th amendment says, pretty much, that any state must afford everybody in the state with the same protections of law afforded anybody. Based on what happened in the Ngo case, Donald Trump could send in the 82nd Airborne to take over the state gub'mnt. And that would be Constitutional. No doubt a civil suit would be quite lucrative, but I think we need to see the Mayor and Governor, et al, hauled away for severe punishment in some isolated area where screams may not be heard.

Good point - Portland administration is deliberately suppressing the constitutional rights to freedom of speech and assembly, by their clear support for violent mobs attacking both. Time for the federal forces to go in and protect those citizens, just like they did against the KKK 60 years ago in the South.

As power outages go, the Broadway Blackout of 2019 was pretty modest. About 73,000 customers lost power in parts of Manhattan’s Midtown and Upper West Side neighborhoods for several hours just as evening fell on the city’s central entertainment district. Some people were briefly trapped in trains and elevators, but the lights were back on by midnight. In the meantime, cast members of suddenly cancelled Broadway shows took to the sidewalks to sing a few numbers. Patrons at bars continued to drink by the light of their phones. One couple even said their wedding vows by candlelight. In all, it was a happy contrast to the devastating blackout of 1977,
