A Pennsylvania man claims a pair of would-be robbers savagely attacked him at the same Dominican Republic resort where a Delaware mom claims she was savagely beaten.
Robert Walker of New Castle said he was ambushed walking alone back to his room at the Majestic Elegance resort in Punta Cana, news station WPXI reported on Thursday.
He said he had just won big at the luxury property’s casino when two men hit him from behind.
“I just started swinging, I am going nuts, and they fled,” Walker told the news station.
Police were called to the home of Boris Johnson and his partner, Carrie Symonds, in the early hours of Friday morning after neighbours heard a loud altercation involving screaming, shouting and banging.
The argument could be heard outside the property where the potential future prime minister is living with Symonds, a former Conservative party head of press.

President Donald Trump unveiled a plane model on Thursday demonstrating the new color scheme for Air Force One.
The model was spotted on a table in the Oval Office during a meeting between President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Democratic governor Gina Raimondo signed the Reproductive Privacy Act into law Wednesday. It will allow for abortion procedures to take place after fetal viability—when the baby is able to live outside the womb—as long as doctors say the mother's health is at risk. The bill, which passed the Senate 21 to 17 and the House 45 to 29, also lifts abortion limits prior to fetal viability. Gov. Raimondo said in a statement that the legislation was designed to guarantee "the status quo under Roe v. Wade," the 1971 case that eliminated state restrictions on abortion.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) has again failed to recruit a promising Democratic candidate to run for the Senate.
Dan McCready, Democratic candidate running for North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, confirmed in an interview Thursday with WCNC Charlotte that he had met with Schumer to discuss running for Republican incumbent Thom Tillis’s Senate seat. But McCready said that he was uninterested in stepping away from his House race to run for the Senate in 2020.
"I did meet with [Schumer]," McCready said. "I’ve also been very clear that I’m not running for the Senate."
Former Colorado governor and Democratic presidential candidate John Hickenlooper said Friday the 11 million illegal immigrants currently living in the United States should be given 10-year visas "immediately."
Hickenlooper was speaking at Telemundo's presidential candidate forum in Miami when he made the comment about illegal immigrants in the United States, adding the visa would allow a path to American citizenship.

During a closed-door testimony on Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler just couldn't quite remember Hope Hicks’ name.
He knew exactly what he was doing, though. The New York Democrat addressed Hicks as "Ms. Lewandowski" three times, insulting her while he questioned her about Corey Lewandowski, President Trump’s former campaign manager with whom Hicks was alleged to have had an affair.
The transgender student accused of shooting up a Colorado school told police that he wanted other students to “suffer from trauma like he had to in his life.”
One of the two alleged shooters, 16-year-old Alec McKinney, is transgender and identifies as male. McKinney told officers that he wanted to take revenge on students at the STEM school in Colorado for how they treated him.
McKinney allegedly carried out the May 7 shooting at the STEM School Highlands Ranch in Highlands Ranch, Colorado alongside 18-year-old Devon Erickson. The shooting left one student dead and eight others wounded.

The Trump administration’s plan to ban federally funded family planning clinics from giving abortion referrals will be allowed to go into effect nationwide, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday.
The ruling means the administration can implement a rule issued earlier this year that bans abortion providers from participating in the Title X family planning program, removes a requirement that clinics provide abortion counseling, and bars providers from referring women for abortions.
The rule was supposed to take effect May 3, but three lower courts issued injunctions, each of which the administration appealed.
