Donald Trump assaulted me in a
Bergdorf Goodman dressing room
23 years ago. But he’s not alone
on the list of awful men in my life.

Original Article

My first rich boy pulled down my underpants. My last rich boy pulled down my tights. My first rich boy — I had fixed my eyes on his face long enough to know — was beautiful, with dark gray eyes and long golden-brown hair across his forehead. I don’t know what he grew up to be. My last rich boy was blond. He grew up to be the president of the United States. The first rich boy’s name was James. He was raped by his grandfather. He was raped by his uncles. He was beaten by his father. My mother told me the stories much later.

Comments:

I know, I know. But, her story is such a carefully constructed and pitiful #MeToo it ought to make us all laugh. Even The Donald.

Let's see. Trump is a wealthy guy with all kinds of opportunities --- but instead, goes downtown shopping, and attacks this woman in a dressing room (see photo of this woman). This really stretches the imagination beyond physical tension limits, so I am guessing this is a huge lie (if lying, make it a whopper, they say) for this woman to make some money.

Started reading the article and this lady is just making things up. She says “deep in the hills north of Ft Wayne”. Well I grew up in Fort Wayne and literally no one has ever said that phrase about our topography. If you talk north of Ft Wayne you’re usually talking about going to the lake. There’s a small town Auburn but no hills. It’s not totally flat but the hills are in southern Indiana. I need not read further.

Interesting. I have lived a long time and during that time, dated quite a few young men. Not once did one of them assault me. Wonder why? Hmmmm. She must have come on to them pretty strong and was obviously drinking heavily with them. She doesn't sound like she ever had any morals or values. Why would she keep putting herself in that position time after time if she did not like it? I think she is an old has-been who wants to be heard again. It is just another liberal trying to hurt our President. Yep, she is what we always called a whore. Boys always asked them out because they heard they put out. She put out and liked it.

26 years ago In a major well known department store in NY. I truly believe that men were not allowed in womens changing rooms. In those days there were many sales women on the dept.floor to help customers. I am pretty sure if one of the dept. employees saw a man go into the womens changing rooms a security guard would have been called. nice try sweetie, but no cigar!

Don't Democrats ever get tired of the same old scripts? We know we can't believe a word they say; they're not habitual liars, they train in front of their mirrors to lie from the time they can walk. They follow Allinsky's models. By every definition within Christian culture, they are either tools of the Devil, or his hands. Those who consider themselves leaders, steep themselves in evil to prepare themselves for adult life.

She is a writer and this story reads like fantasy fiction. A man in the lingerie dressing room at Bergdorf's? And not only that, a famous man. Like that could happen. A little background reading on this woman indicates she is a little wacky. What is the penalty for making up a story about the President of the United States? Nothing, it's a freebie.

I couldn't finish this piece. From what little I did read I agree with #17. Don't want that kind of attention?? Then watch the booze and be a whole lot more discriminating in choosing the male company you wish to keep. Don't put yourself in unsafe situations; refrain from the desire to be the 'life of the party'. Those few rules were instrumental in getting me through college and my early dating years. Never once did I have a problem with any of the boys or men I knew. They all treated me well. Women should be careful of the vibes they give off. If they don't want men to think they're easy then don't be easy. It's quite simple.

She says it was the world's most exclusive department store, but man, I bought stuff there for $50-something dollars on sale all the time in those years, I bought two pairs of the same shoes for that because I liked them so much and didn't want to 'run out' given the extent to which I wore them. I even got good designer stuff on the sixth floor, not the fifth floor, which was where the cheaper young-people stuff was - Philip Adec, Dianne von Furstenburg, DKNY (new at the time), some other faves. Nope, I got my hands on Versace and Donna Karan and Givenchy in those days on the 6th floor, at my preferred price. Places like Barneys in that day were always too expensive. The Calvin Klein boutique on 6th Ave was always too expensive. Bergdorf was about equal to Henri Bendel and Saks and Lord & Taylor. The woman's plummy account lacks credibility for that reason alone, she's getting the atmospheric details wrong. Bergdorf's could be very affordable if you knew where to look. Couple years ago I was in NY and went there - everything since is now too expensive, found no deals whatsoever.

To have to spend time on this garbage when he has more important things to do just infuriates me. These women are liars, always have been, always will be. They deserve legal repercussions in a very big way. You see, I think they are destroying the system of believability for real and actual victims, and that should appall all of us who know women who are actual victims, not fantasy victims. All women who have men in their lives that they love and who could be ruined with just a whisper of a lie in the right ears should stand up and tell these women to just knock it off.

It may not be true. It may not be the whole truth. But unfortunately, Trump infamously told Billy Bush in 2005, “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women — I just start kissing them, it’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything, Grab 'em by the p***y." We don't like recalling this version of Trump, but it is there. I just remind myself that LBJ, JFK and RFK were also dogs when it came to the opposite sex, and the Democrats don't want to hear about their bad behavior any more than we want to hear about Donald Trump's. Under the circumstances, both sides should remember the adage that "people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

The death of Harry Dunn, an English teenager who was killed on August 27 2019, sparked a “bitter diplomatic row” between Great Britain and the United States. At the center of this row is the concept of “diplomatic immunity.” While riding his motorcycle, Dunn was killed in a head on collision with an SUV near RAF Croughton, a military base used by the U.S. Air Force. British police identified the driver as Anne Sacoolas — the wife of an American diplomat — and said that she was driving “on the wrong side of the road” when the collision occurred. A diplomatic row exploded when, after “British prosecutors charged her with causing death

H’s baaack! The Andrew Cuomo New Yorkers know and mostly tolerate, the snarling attack dog who gaslights fellow Democrats and deploys staff to call his female critics “f**king idiots,” dropped down to Earth last week. It was a hard landing after a long-distance love affair with a fanbase in a galaxy far, far away. In the middle of one of his now Emmy Award–winning (apparently for using “television to inform and calm people around the world”) Red Room press conferences, the governor blew a gasket. The trouble started when Jimmy Vielkind from The Wall Street Journal asked the obvious question that every New York City public school parent

I’m only a first-generation native, but this ludicrous place feels like my ancestral homeland. My home as a baby was just a few blocks from Santa Monica State Beach in Los Angeles. As the years passed, I moved progressively further east, away from the glorious Pacific Ocean of my childhood. At one point I lived as far away as France, but gradually wandered home, washed inexorably back. Before I was born, my east coast parents moved here so my dad could surf on the weekends. I never surfed, but my friends and I became proficient boogie boarders. I met my first boyfriend and encountered my first shark on Santa Monica beach.

The last few months have brought a series of historic firsts to the Middle East, a region that for all its regular news-making has been stuck in a decades-long strategic stasis. Another first reportedly arrived two days ago: a clandestine meeting in Saudi Arabia between the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman. For now it is only an unconfirmed meeting, far from the momentous normalization treaties known as the Abraham Accords that Israel recently ratified with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, or its follow-on peace agreement with Sudan.

The Arkansas Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Democrat Jimmie Wilson is ineligible to serve in the state Legislature due to decades-old misdemeanor convictions in federal court, wiping out Wilson's victory at the polls earlier this month in House District 12. Wilson, a former state lawmaker who was convicted of selling mortgaged crops and illegal use of farm loans, had argued that a pardon he received from President Bill Clinton in 2001 removed any barriers to his potential return to the Legislature. Running against Republican David Tollett, Wilson received more than 52% of the vote in the Nov. 3 election. A unanimous decision by the high court, however, held that the pardon

Despite tanking 35% within weeks at the height of pandemic uncertainty in February and March, the Dow Jones Industrial Average—a key U.S. stock market index measuring the performance of 30 large-cap companies—has hit a historic milestone, reaching 30,000 points on Tuesday for the first time ever. The Dow reached the threshold just minutes before 11:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday amid market bullishness fueled by blowout earnings, coronavirus vaccine optimism and fading uncertainty in Washington as President-elect Joe Biden formally begins his transition to the White House.

An Austin man built a robot named Artie and a candy-shooting cannon to safely deliver treats on Halloween. A horse cloned from the forty-year-old cryopreserved genetic material of an endangered Mongolian breed was born at a Canyon veterinary hospital. A driver in Southlake, who was allegedly attempting to show off to a woman by accelerating quickly, collided with a pole and overturned his car by the town square. An entire section of the stands at a University of Texas home football game was set aside for cutouts of dozens of different characters Matthew McConaughey has played.

It’s hard to believe we’ve already arrived at Thanksgiving week in this crazy and tumultuous political year. That means it’s time for my annual list of the biggest turkeys in politics. The 2020 list doesn’t just rank not-ready-for-prime-time candidates, but also the institutions and strategies that didn’t live up to expectations. This year’s lineup most fowl includes a deep-pocketed presidential candidate, well-funded Senate candidates, ideologically-out-of-step Democratic recruits, and an appointed GOP senator who lost two straight elections in a traditionally Republican state. 1. Martha McSally (R): McSally, who was appointed to the Senate in Arizona after losing her first Senate race

The Trump campaign's top lawyers -- Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis -- went into the weekend on the offense. On Thursday they held a news conference vowing to prove the existence of a far-ranging conspiracy to defeat the president. They were pressing a case alleging unfair voting practices in Pennsylvania. They were predicting victory. By Sunday night, everything had changed. A judge threw out the Pennsylvania case. Then, amid widespread skepticism, Powell, the author of a theory that voting machines had changed millions of Trump votes into Biden votes, was booted from the team, leaving an uncertain future. First, Pennsylvania. No one should be surprised that Trump lost.

Trump needs to have overwhelming evidence of election fraud, and he needs to bring that evidence to light in very public hearings. Without such evidence, his claims won’t be taken seriously enough—by the press or a sufficient number of the electorate—to ensure a peaceful transition to a second term. The rush job to affirm Biden as president-elect by the media and the Democrat Party is not constitutionally required, and indeed smacks of a kind of desperation to avoid scrutiny. Contrary to their claims, Trump’s thorough investigation of potential large-scale election fraud is fully in accord with the Constitution. As the one in whom executive power is vested,

Amateur archaeologists in Scotland have discovered a cache of musket balls and other artifacts connected to the Jacobite Rising of 1745, which attempted to restore the Stuart dynasty to the United Kingdom’s throne, the Oban Times reports. Paul Macdonald, Gary Burton and Gary McGovern—all members of the Conflicts of Interest battlefield archaeology group—were surveying a field in the Scottish Highlands this September when they found what appeared to be part of a shipment from France to the Jacobite rebels. As Macdonald writes in a Facebook post, the trove—which included 215 musket balls, coins, and gold and gilt buttons—was buried near the ruins of a croft house

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough did not react kindly to the network removing his show from the air Monday following the assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump. Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski, his wife, addressed the situation Tuesday and accused MSNBC of lying to them about replacing the show with breaking news coverage of the fallout from the Trump assassination attempt. If MSNBC does that again, Scarborough said, he will leave the show and they can find a new host. “We were told, in no uncertain terms on Sunday evening that there was going to be one news feed across all NBC news channels yesterday,” Scarborough said. “That did not happen.”

This is a scary moment in America, and we need a leader who won’t exploit the chaos. Someone who can strike just the right tone – with humanity, and moral clarity – that trickles down to other leaders in both parties, reminding us of our values, our better selves. Joe Biden rose to the occasion. He expressed sincere empathy for Donald Trump and other victims of Saturday’s horrific attack, including a father killed while protecting his family from bullets. He called on all Americans to “lower the temperature in our politics,” and to reject violence in any form. He did his part, dialed it down, .

Embattled Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle says she has no plans to resign, even after the stunning revelation that the agency decided not to guard the roof from which Thomas Crooks opened fire on former President Donald Trump because it was too slanted. “That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there’s a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,” she told ABC News in a startling admission.“And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside,” she told the outlet.

BUTLER, Pa. — The Secret Service blamed local police for failing to secure the rooftop from which gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, insisting it was outside the perimeter the federal agency was tasked with protecting. Instead, securing and patrolling the factory grounds of AGR International Inc. — located about 130 yards from the stage where Trump was speaking Saturday — was the responsibility of local Pennsylvania police, Secret Service representative Anthony Gugliemi said, according to the New York Times. The Secret Service was only tasked with covering the grounds where Trump’s rally took place, with local police being recruited to assist with those efforts and

One of the big questions that many have about the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump is how the shooter was able to get onto the roof, close enough to be able to shoot Trump and hit three other people, killing one and wounding two others. Plus, why, once he was spotted, wasn't he dealt with sooner, or why Trump wasn't rushed off the stage? It would appear that someone dropped the ball in a severe failure. Now Real Clear Politics' Susan Crabtree has some new information from sources within the Secret Service.
