President Trump response to Iran drone shooting: Stay calm, carry on

Original Article

There are many a saying about staying calm and carrying on. C.J. Redwine writes “Losing your head in a crisis is a good way to become the crisis.” President Trump has offered yet another truth about himself. Life is precious. And a cool head can carry on. As is evidenced by President Trump and his response to Iran.

The President was successful in getting the Iranian military to look the other way while something else was arranged. Iran will try something again, but, it will be small potatoes. Then we will learn of the "something else".

Government deficit soars: Here's how President Trump will fix it 8 replies

Recently released data shows that the annual Federal government budget deficit for the fiscal year (FY) 2019 increased to nearly $1 trillion. President Trump said during his 2016 presidential campaign that he would reduce the annual deficit. First, let’s recognize the cause for the increase in the current deficit. Contrary to what the media reports, the tax cuts enacted in 2018 did not add one penny to the deficit. Total tax revenues were slightly higher in 2018 than in 2017. And tax revenues were higher in fiscal 2019 than in 2018. After the tax cut, revenues did not decline. So the tax cut did not add to the deficit.
An Al Goodwyn Cartoon: Trump reveals al-Baghdadi death among media bias 3 replies

Al-Baghdadi is dead and the press are not feeling much better. A scan of the headlines will tell you everything you need to know about the media. Journalists woke up Sunday morning to a pending major Trump announcement planned for 9:00am. Hopes were high as they began praying for a sudden Trump resignation, or perhaps a recording of Trump singing “You Are My Sunshine” to Putin. Or maybe the discovery of a Trump diary written when he was 13. Unfortunately for our single-minded media elites, the announcement was about the raid and subsequent death of al-Baghdadi. Adam Schiff was inconsolable from within his impeachment bunker.

U.S. led special operations forces and military working dogs rained justice down on Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, founder and leader of ISIS. The Whitehouse announced Sunday the death of the world’s most wanted man. Al-Baghdadi, a former university professor, took the reins of ISIS in 2014. This wily tactician hid in the shadows, while he and his followers forced religious confessions from his victims through murder and vile torture. Using video to proudly display their evil atrocities to spark global outrage and local fear. President Trump’s top national security priority was crossing al-Baghdadi off the wanted terrorist list.

They’re insane. They’re fruit bats. They’re making us nuts just watching them. Many of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) impeachment elves are expecting the worst now that Attorney General Barr has announced that the ongoing investigation into the origins of the Mueller investigation has been stepped up to a criminal investigation. Could it be that those who perpetrated scurrilous lies, spying, and set-ups, including the use of international players since Trump’s inauguration and before, will finally be vulnerable to American justice? Are they aware of the impending danger as the light of day reveals what they’ve been up to? You’re damn tootin’, they’re aware.

For voters, it’s a blessing and a curse to live in a state like Virginia. Consider the beleaguered Republican voters of Fairfax County, Virginia (Population: 1 million +). Virginia is one of a few states and jurisdictions in America that hold major elections in the “off-years", during which neither Congressional nor Presidential elections take place. That’s part of the reason why determined, hard left Democrats have relentlessly turned this state blue over the past several election cycles. In these oddball, off-year elections, relatively few voters turn out to cast their ballots. That means that the party most effective in turning out its base is virtually guaranteed a win.

Vice President Pence says that al-Baghdadi is dead and its a victory for America. President Trump and Vice President Pence were informed on Friday that there was a very good chance al-Baghdadi was in the compound. The President made the decisive decision on Saturday morning. Without the obstruction of Adam Schiff or Nancy Pelosi. After notifying the American people that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was dead, a reporter asks the President if he has “notified the congressional leaders about this? Pelosi, Schiff, Mitch McConnell?” The President’s response shows how little trust he has for the Democrat party. In his blunt style he responds – no, not all.

None dare call it treason. Except for President Donald Trump that is. So says author Doug Wead after interviewing the president for his upcoming book “Inside Trump’s White House: The Real Story of His Presidency.” Of the domestic spy operations conducted on the 2016 Trump presidential campaign by the FBI’s counterintelligence division and the CIA – undoubtedly initiated on the orders of President Obama – Trump told Wead: “What they did… It was treasonous. The interesting thing out of all this is that we caught them spying on the election. They were spying on my campaign.” Oh, yes, treason. Democrats and never-Trump Republicans have waged a relentless campaign against Trump.

After a wobbly open, Friday stocks market action picked up the pace mid-morning. The weak open was likely due to fallout caused by the Thursday after-hours trading slaughter of Amazon (trading symbol: AMZN) shares. On the other hand averages moved deep into the green zone a bit later. We could attribute that roughly 11 a.m. pickup to a CNBC headline. The cable and online financial network posted a breaking headline claiming a US trade rep indicated a partial US-China trade deal may be near.By “breaking headline,” I mean that CNBC just posted a headline on the alleged partial US-China trade deal.

America, known for the First Amendment and Free Speech Rights, has a bunch of leftist lunatics having issues with this first, and a most basic right. Take Joe Biden, please. In a recent tweet, Donald Trump uses the word lynching to describe the Democrat’s latest push to destroy his very life. Lynching is an extra-judicial mob method of injustice. Liberals tried the Russia hoax. And it did not work. It started even before his election, much less his inauguration. If they could lynch President Trump in the Jefferson Monument Rotunda, they would gladly remove the founding father and string #45 up. Before he becomes #46 in 2020.

Mitt Romney, being in a perpetual search for a spine, has finally discovered Twitter, and gee, you don’t even have to use your real name. Armed with newfound, Twitter-inspired boldness, Romney is feeling like his courageous old self… from way back in high school … when he gave someone an unwelcome haircut. Since he needs a nom de plume for tweeting why not something French? And Pierre Delecto is born. “C’est moi” exclaimed Romney, because that’s another French term Pierre would use. Romney realizes the chutzpah he can command with an alter-ego. If only that spine-inducing social media personage were in play during the 2012 election.

President Biden argued that a massive influx of government spending bill will help fend off inflation, in a speech on the state of the economy at the White House on Monday. The White House has dubbed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to bring to the floor this week — and the $3.5 trillion budget resolution that Democrats plan to pass in the coming days without Republican support — the “Build Back Better” package. Biden said Monday that the two bills will help prevent, rather than exacerbate, runaway inflation.

I don’t know what he expected to achieve by the exercise, but I’m pretty certain that what he accomplished represented a significant deviation from the plan. The piece framed Black Rifle Coffee as a “Starbucks for conservatives” and promoted the piece by saying that the company was trying to distance itself from some of its customers. Note that Black Rifle Coffee retweeted this tweet and that usually means that the tweet met with the approval of the person sending it:

Arrests were made in October of 2020, with the claim being that the FBI had stopped the kidnapping plot as well as a plan to overthrow the government. After it came out in the weeks following the bust that one of the participants was anti-Trump and a Black Lives Matter supporter, the story quickly died down. All of this was intertwined
