Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernard Sanders said this week they are open to decriminalizing sex work, as the 2020 presidential contenders weigh-in on an idea being embraced by some in the Democratic Party’s left wing. Ms. Warren told The Washington Post that sex workers deserve autonomy, “but they are particularly vulnerable to physical and financial abuse and hardship.” “We need to make sure we don’t undermine legal protections for the most vulnerable, including the millions of individuals who are victims of human trafficking each year,” the Massachusetts Democrat said. The Sanders campaign also said Mr. Sanders thinks decriminalization should be considered,
And just how do they believe this sort of activity advances the dignity of the woman, made in God's image? These people are wicked and perverted.

So what would such a policy incentivize? More women pressed into the degrading sex trade. More pimps getting rich. More sexually transmitted diseases. The subliminal message that such behavior is normal and acceptable. Further deviancy rising to the surface. The infernal host is ready for a celebration.

As usual, these two don't have a clue about what the fallout from their actions would cause, Do they realize the average age of a street prostitute is sixteen? There is a great difference between a Vegas "Escort" and a street hooker. For a pair of Socialist whose stated aim is to "Protect Children", it is quite clear they have no idea what the unintended consequences of their actions truly are.

Forgive my cynicism but whenever politicians want to legalize a vice, all I can think of is how many ways they plan to tax it.
Are victims of human sex trafficking forced into prostitution by their captors being thrown in prison willy nilly? No of course not.
I wonder how long it will take the rest of the clown car to raise their hands, jumping up and down screaming "me too, me too, me too" in support of the social ill.

The Democrat ideology is all about normalizing criminality and perversion. Really amazing that about 50% of the country thinks that's a great idea.

These two will say anything to get votes. They know full well their proposals will go nowhere. In business it's called false advertising.

Since most politicians are prostitutes, I’m sure they see them as fellow travelers.
Democrats will love this. They can write a bunch of regulations. They can create another victim class. The biggest reason by far, will be that they can TAX it.

They need to spend time talking to medical professionals, social workers, police and anyone else who treats the victims of prostitution, the female and male teenagers and pre-teen runaways. "Sex work" isn't that idiotic movie 'Pretty Woman' come to life, it is violent, degrading and often deadly.

Awh. The poor hookers. Now they'll have to pay federal taxes, social security taxes, and have to ask for W2 forms from Plugs' son. Creeping Climate Change, Legalizing hooking, and finding a cure for cancer. Is there anything demoncraps can't do?

Kalifornia has already decriminalized Juvenile prostitution, in an attempt to SAVE THE CHILDREN. We have a perverted sick legislature of pedophiles.

Since I already have a college degree, will the Democrats give me the equivalent cost in sex worker dollars?

If the Democrats get their way and complete our transition to full-bore socialism, like Venezuela, women will be empowered to sell their bodies, their hair, and perhaps their children to keep food on the table. The proposal is rare fiscally conservative one on their part; why waste court and prison resources for what will be a widespread crime?
