A second criminal referral was filed against Lisa Cook on Thursday, alleging the embattled Federal Reserve Board governor may have made “misrepresentations” on mortgage documents and government disclosures. The complaint to the Justice Department was lodged by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte, who was the source of the initial criminal referral that President Trump is using to attempt to fire Cook “for cause.” “3 strikes and you’re out. Today, US Federal Housing sent a 2nd Criminal Referral in the matter of Lisa D. Cook,
related to a mortgage on a 3rd property and alleged misrepresentations
about her properties

They have her dead to rights. The closing documents will show all this with her signature on them. She has a losing hand.

James, Schiff, and now this woman.

Alinsky rules for radicals, accuse them of what you're guilty of. I wonder if there are any blue people not guilty of mortgage fraud. It seems to be their thing.
All of them should be checked for mortgage fraud.

The next shoe to drop will be income tax evasion. She is smarter than everyone else, so I bet she didn't declare rental income.

She's got a losing hand here; but this may backfire on the GOP by prosecuting Dems for things the Average American can relate to.
Most househunters have had to stretch one truth or cut one corner in pursuit of mortgage qualification, and the left wing news spins most of the violations as technicalities. Now it looks like we're the ones weaponizing government against the other side. A little due caution is called for.

CNN or MSNBC found a sleazy lawyer willing to come on air to defend Cook, saying any fraud should be intentional, and there was no real case. Really? Cook says "mislabelled", a sidestep from the correct "misrepresented". A loan applicant does not label a loan document. They sign a loan document that applies to the type of loan they are applying for, along with a representation that everything have have said is true and correct, under penalties of perjury, and notarization. A financial institution can void any loan that is fraudulently obtained, or there are "misrepresentations". This second criminal referral shows a pattern, which is often the basis of showing fraudulent intent, which I do not believe is necessary in this case, despite the left's lawyer, who figuratively had black teeth from all the lies that have passed through them.

Awww...poor baby DEI hire by Biden's "handlers"....her appointment was only for show...after all she's a black woman...and not qualified...she has become a squatter and refuses to leave....so President Trump's administration will take her to court and when she's jailed...then she'll vacate the premises....it will be a "made for tv saga",,,,

It's a sad thing to know that a quota making a quarter million bucks a year just for screwing up our economy can't be fired even when allegedly committing crimes. How many totally unaccountable incompetents (think Fauci) are out there going about their oblivious incompetency screwing up our lives?

I hope that she keeps on with her lawsuit against Trump. The discovery phase should be very enlightening. And you just know that Trump’s law team already has all of the goods lined up in a neat incriminating row.

R$e #8, the idea that we should not prosecute public officials for mortgage fraud because everyone is doing it is disgusting.

I don't know her educational background but if she was some junior listed serviceman who made a
"clerical error" on their VA home mortgage application - ah ... he/she would be facing serious consequences. No one would accept a "clerical error" as their excuse, but some overpaid (and overweight) black woman Federal Reserve governor - and she's suppose to get a pass? I see her recently retained attorneys are no other than Mark Zaid and Abbe Lowell.

Way too many of these DEI hires start to believe the phony stories about them being "special" and think that since none of the rules about getting ahead via hard work and merit apply to them, then the laws about fraud and theft don't apply to them either.
Seems like pretty much ALL of them have been found to have been doing a lot of mortgage fraud. It's a common theme running through their group. Check them out.....lied on their mortgage documents. We need to just put down "examine mortgage documents" as the standard background check for all these black troublemaker types. They plant the seeds of their own demise.

Since Democraps always copy what their fellow Commies do, it is highly likely that every Democrap in Congress and those in the bureaucracies, living in DC have done the same thing...this is NOT an isolated incident!

How many crooks do you need in an organization to be a criminal organization? Powell should have booted her DEI derriere at the outset but then she's not the first corrupt Fed governor under Powell's watch. How many had to resign for front running the markets? Three, was it? If the courts find for PDJT, Powell is next to go "for cause". Putting up with corrupt practices.

Trump will win the court case on her firing because of the Spicer case rulings by an appeals court is precedent. But it will be difficult to get a conviction if the case is tried in DC or NY because a carefully selected black Democrat jury will not convict her / enforce the law.

The old saw about accusing your enemy of doing what you do was in full play during the Lucricia James persecution of then-former President Trump. In their depravity they assumed everyone cheated on their mortgages, so Trump must have done the same. It also explains their intimate knowledge of rigging elections and how to charge The Donald down in Georgia, and their sloppy handling of classified documents was assumed to have also been done by the 45th President. A great cover story for the FBI raid on a former president's home.
Too bad for them they overplayed their hand. The 47th President knows where to find the real evidence, and Justice is on the agenda.
MAGA! Whether the dims like it or not!

When did "shame" depart this country?
Today's Democrats have absolutely no integrity, no honor, no veracity, and no values apart from, "What's in it for me?"
