Resettle Gazans to End the Endless War

Original Article

The Biden administration thinks that a reformed Palestinian Authority (PA) could run a post-war Gaza Strip at peace with Israel, but that ignores several inconvenient facts: 1) The latest poll of Palestinian public opinion shows that the PA is deeply unpopular. 2) The same poll shows that 72% of respondents supported the massacre of October 7. But somehow a new Palestinian state in Gaza would embrace coexisting with Israel? 3) The PA has an abysmal track record of corruption and was too weak to prevent a Hamas-led coup in Gaza, less than two years after Israel’s withdrawal. So why would the PA perform any better this next time?

Comments:

He recommends that the countries that most support Hamas -- Qatar, Turkey, and Iran, as well as any other countries that would take them. The problem is that Palestinians are very disruptive no matter where they are. They were originally settled in Jordan when Israel was created, but the Jordanian kicked them out. Egypt won't allow and of them to cross the border from Gaza. They would have to be settled somewhere that allows the Gazans to be broken up into small numbers and settled far from each other, far from the government, and as much as possible unable to communicate with leaders and other settlements. The Gazans' backers are all foes of America and all Jews, and they can't be allowed to continue in their ways.

From the article, "While Japan and Nazi Germany were successfully de-radicalized, that was only after the kind of absolute defeat and extended occupation that global opinion would never allow for Gaza." Hamas and the Palestinian Authority will have to be utterly defeated. No other country wants the Palestinians. They will have to stay where they are and learn to love their children. IF they are to be successfully resettled, they MUST become citizens of their new land. Up until now Gazans have been kept stateless if they live in any other land, even after the third of forth generation. That has to stop. These people need to be allowed to put down roots, get accepted into schools, get employment, even gov't jobs. The EU has been nicer to Muslims from all over the ME than Muslim countries have been to Gazans.

This has NOTHING to do with resettling anyone, this is what happens when push-comes-to-shove on the anti-Semitism rife within Isalm. EVERY Muslim worldwide wants to see the Jews annihilated everywhere, PERIOD. The only way this ends is either one side totally destroys the other, or if Muslims abandon Islam, or at least reform it. Fat chance of the latter ever happening though.

President Biden couldn’t even remember when he was vice president or when his son Beau had died, leading special counsel Robert Hur to conclude that he could not bring charges for mishandling of classified documents, because a jury would see the president “as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” In a report, Robert Hur concluded that Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.” But he declined to issue any charges, in part because Biden’s poor recollection would make him hard to convict.

They state that “if ever there were a time to do so, now would be it,” and insist that if the president “is not competent to stand trial, then he is certainly not competent to lead the free world.” While highlighting evidence of America’s oldest ever president “willfully” mishandling classified documents, Special Counsel Hur’s report details Biden’s significant cognitive decline — perhaps more politically damning than his handling of classified materials.

Joe Biden, senior aides and political observers strongly criticised the special counsel, Robert Hur, for extensively discussing the president’s age and allegedly fading memory in his report on Biden’s retention of classified information from his time as a senator and as vice-president – which did not produce an indictment. Hur, who Donald Trump appointed US attorney for Maryland, “could not refrain from investigative excess”, said Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal counsel. Though this was “perhaps unsurprising given the intense pressures of the current political environment”, Bauer added, the final report “flouts Department [of Justice] regulations and norms”.
