Why is no one wondering why the Trump

“There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of the law and in the name of justice.” --Montesquieu Those of us old enough to remember the infamous trial of O.J. Simpson will certainly remember the daily presence in the court of Jo-Ellen Demetrius, the jury consultant who determined which people among the jury pool would be likely to decide in Simpson’s favor. (Snip) A jury consultant’s job is to research, as closely as possible, each prospective juror by any means necessary so that the defense can select the persons who may be most disposed to find their client not guilty.

Comments:

Trump's current life is like some Greek epic in which the hero encounters one fearsome enemy after another.

Theoretically, even if the jurors are stupid biased, etc., The hope was that the judge would see through that and balance it out as best as possible, but when the prosecution, judge and jury are all on the same side - there is no longer blind justice in this country.

Idiotic jurors? How about the biased judges and lawyers? When a person is requested to serve on a jury, they are required to answer questions that reveal bias. I am starting to wonder if that process is used with judges and lawyers because as in the Nathan Wade and Fani Willis case, the bias and conflict of interest are coming to light. There should be some mistrials declared. . .

These take place in districts where 90% or more voted for Biden, both sides get to "strike" a certain number of potential jurors for any reason at all, or no reason at all...Just the questions "Did you donate to trump? Did you vote for Trump?" would cause exclusion, but the questions "Did you vote for Biden? Did you donate to Biden?" Would not or they never could have seated ANY jury. The jury that just made the ridiculous award deliberated only 3 hrs, and that was haggling over just how much to reward. In the end they set "Actual Damages' at around $7Million, gave another $11million to fund "Reputation Repair"(one guesses that means hiring publicists, media representatives, funding puff pieces, maybe paying for a psychologist/Life coach?")...the rest, $65 MILLION or so is all "Punitive". I have a hard time envisioning exactly how you can set a scenario where anything trump said or did could have COST her $7million, actual damage...but...to then multiply THAT by nearly tenfold to Punish him? There are "Reasons" why the Repub party has advocated(to greater/lesser degrees depending upon year) for major Tort Reform. These "Lottery Winner" jury awards, not just in this case but also in malpractice, false arrest, rough arrest, and wrongful deaths were/are common in certain specific courts in various locations...Louisiana in particular had long been a "Jury shopping" destination for big time tort rewards, and money grubbing attorneys from both the east and west coasts would find any/every excuse(plausible or not) to move cases to Louisiana...including paying their recruited clients to move there.

Let's face it in leftist NYC finding 12 Trump hating jurors isn't exactly a difficult task. The jury consultants just managed to find the most virulent anti Trump jurors possible, a judge in collusion with the plaintiff's lawyer, as well as being her mentor at one point, and a crazed serial rape accuser. If this doesn't get overturned on appeal I'd be surprised.

Jury selection is an art and the dems have it down pat. They find the stupidest people and wind them up emotionally against the defendant and get the verdict they want. Trump was a well know entity in NYC in the 90's. Why did she wait over 25 years to make this accusation? It was a set up and now they are all in the back room grabbing their ill gotten gains. Shame on the NYC Judicial System. The courts there are now fair game if you have the right connections, which this woman and her attorney obviously do.

This suggests that the jury found he did not manipulate the data in his hockey stick graph which asserts that global warming is anthropogenic—that is, caused by man— is so frequently cited by "climate change" proponents. That’s not quite the whole story. The jury seems to have focused on the fact that the writers compared his work to another Penn State employee who had engaged in child molestation which the university had covered up. The defamation the jury found was not in the critique of his research

But somehow a new Palestinian state in Gaza would embrace coexisting with Israel? 3) The PA has an abysmal track record of corruption and was too weak to prevent a Hamas-led coup in Gaza, less than two years after Israel’s withdrawal.
