The Democrats Create an Alice in the Looking
Glass World

Original Article

Like Alice dropped into an illogical world, I’m looking at the past week and seeing a chaotic, topsy-turvy, irrational series of policies, events, and outcomes. There are many possible examples to choose from. I’ve chosen four: The open border, the inexplicable disparities in the handling of crimes by Democratic district attorneys, the Administration’s song and dance with Iran and UNRWA, and China, and there’s a degree of overlap in some of these.

Nobody spells it out like Clarice. Obama and Valerie Jarrett were not only soft on Iran, they gave them billions of dollars with no restrictions and terrorism across the Middle East thrived. Quite the coincidence that Biden is doing the same thing.

FTA: 'Confronted by a reporter concerning the no-bail policy for illegal criminals, New York's Governor Kathy Hochul suggested they be deported, contrary to her state's and California's sanctuary state policies.' I bet she only said that so her police detail will continue to protect her worthless carcass.

FTA - "Millions of people -- mostly military-age men -- from almost every country on the globe are being processed by the Borden Patrol and released with orders to show up for hearings, many not set for several years distant, during which time the Democrats will certainly seek an electoral advantage." Doesn't it bother you that millions of foreign military-age men are being invited into the country through the southern border? What "orders"? What "hearings"? I know. I know. It's the old, " it really doesn't affect me so why worry about it"? But it will and in your lifetimes.

Let me tell you nay sayers...there is NO way Americans will let biden serve another term...orchestrated by Obama and valerie Jarret...the Iranians that rule the White House....the only way they can win is...if they demand martial law and keep everyone away from the polling places....Iran's dream of taking over the Middle East is not happening...and you can bake cookies on that!!...Israel will never let that happen....

FTA: "The combination of the sweeping preemption by the courts and diminishing enforcement by the agencies has left states as mere observers to their own destruction. It is like watching your house burn down as the fire department works primarily to prevent anyone else from putting it out." Good summary of life in the US controlled by democrats. It is as if the 10th Amendment, "any powers that are not specifically given to the federal government, nor withheld from the states, are reserved to those respective states, or to the people at large," never existed, even though the first ten amendments, known as the Bill of Rights, was ratified by the States in 1791. It is still the Law of the Land and should be enforced by the States and "the people at large," that still follow the Constitution. It appears that it is the democrats who are actively in rebellion, led by our current Chief Executive, aka, the Head of State.

Those whodon't read Clarice are seriously underinformede. For example, who knew: FTA: While Robert Malley was placed under FBI investigation and was removed from office as Biden’s Iran envoy, the administration has not deviated from the never-disclosed policy he set in 2016 while he was with the non-governmental agency, the International Crisis Group -- a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iranian Foreign Ministry. Biden will not enforce sanctions against Iran, has instituted no arms embargo against Iranian drone purchases, and has not interfered while Iran builds up its nuclear arsenal. Those drones Iran purchased are apparently the very ones the Iranian proxy Houthis are firing at vessels in the Red Sea. We keep announcing that we are shooting down those drones, but it’s a costly “victory.” The drones are worth about $50 thousand each, and the cost of destroying them before they damage our ships is in the millions. Certainly, reason suggests it’s time to destroy the drone launch pads and launchers and abandon Malley’s plan.

Much journalism these days is filled with fear, a genre made by the paranoid for the paranoid. A friend sent me Victor Davis Hanson’s recent X post about the lawsuits faced by President Trump, the corruption of the judicial system, the desperate straits he is in. (Snip) But he’s wrong. All those lawsuits foundered this week, a mere week later. And wrong are all the other catastrophists. The entire world is on the move, literally. It’s on fire. With the New Hampshire primary just two days away, on Sunday she played the race card in a big way, making outlandish and implausible claims about her youth in South Carolina. Whose votes is she trying to win? Those of patriotic voters who are thoroughly sick of charges of “racism” being used as a weapon or those of the entrenched Washington establishment that weaponized those charges? The answer isn’t even close to being in doubt. Haley came out big for identity politics saying: “We were the only Indian family in our small southern town. I was teased every day for being brown.

Absurdistan has to take a victory lap here - celebrate the wins! The Securities and Exchange Commission has abandoned the idea of monetizing America’s National Parks and public lands and selling them to whoever wanted a piece, leaving outfits elected by hedge funds to manage ‘biological diversity’, ‘health’, safety and access. Hedge funds are pirates, the least likely to care about those lands, and who knows how they would broker them off once public attention fades. The nation’s ruling class holds deeply authoritarian opinions widely divorced from the rest of the American electorate, finds a survey out this week. It found nearly 60 percent of American “elites” think there is too much individual freedom in America. Meanwhile, nearly 60 percent of registered voters have the exact opposite opinion, reporting the United States has too much top-down control, limiting liberty. The study from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity found ruling class opinions on climate policies were particularly harsh and despotic. More than two-thirds of the 1 percent support rationing vital energy and food sources in an attempt to control the globe’s weather.

Opening statements were delivered today. (Snip) The case, as you likely recall, arises out of an internet post written by Simberg, which Steyn quoted and added a few comments to. The two posts drew a parallel between Jerry Sandusky, the disgraced Penn State’s administration in what amounted to a cover-up. Good grief — it’s been over three months, and writers are still expressing shock, surprise, and outrage that Muslims murdered, mutilated, raped, and tortured Jews on 10/7. (Snip) Because it will happen again, I suggest the following to prevent future shock, surprise, and outrage. First, recognize the cause of 10/7. Although it is comforting to believe that Hamas, a specific group in a relatively small area, was the cause of 10/7, this is incorrect. The snarky among you will quickly respond that Hezb’allah and Iran were also responsible. This is also incorrect. The correct answer is that Islam was the cause of 10/7.

The atrocities of Hamas now earn only measured objections from Biden. He does not seem too angered by the collapse of the border.
