Authorities on Friday nabbed a 15-year-old migrant suspected of shooting a tourist and firing at cops in Times Square, law enforcement sources said. The US Marshals Fugitive Recovery Task Force took the Venezuelan teen into custody in Yonkers at around 3:30 p.m., according to the sources. It came just moments after NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell identified Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa as the “armed and dangerous” person of interest in connection with the chaotic incident at the Crossroads of the World Thursday night. He arrived in New York from Venezuela in September and has been staying at a temporary shelter at the Stratford Hotel on West 70th Street, Chell said.

Two other "Teens" with him as the gang attempted to rob the store, attempted to murder the guard, hitting instead a tourist, and attempting then to murder several cops...were taken in to custody at the scene...then released. This "15yo" repeat offender with at least two other, prior, violent crimes...was brought to America by some NGO, delivered to NYC by some group, supported, housed, enrolled in school at taxayer expense, not only should the two caught on scene with him be held as felony accessories, but every individual, with every group, every agency that has had ANYTHING to do with him should also be arrested and held as accessories to "Continuing Criminal Enterprise". There is plenty of legal grounds to charge not only accomplices but any accessory before and after the crime.

Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa. He might be related to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro "Monster" Mayorkas. The usual RINO'S during the confirmation vote: "Mayorkas received support from six Republican senators: Sens. These people are coming from countries where crime is a way of life. Society and civilization have broken down to the point people are becoming savages. People take from others either through force or by stealing. As long as you don't cross some criminal gang or the biggest criminal gang, the government, nobody comes after you. They start young. That's all you need to know about the perps in this story. We should not be bringing them here.

It was only supposed to house single women, and adult families. (At the expensive of Art School students, that pay $68,000/yr, that use to have this space as a dormitory) The Stratford Arms has recently served as a residence hall for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), which listed the building in its 2022 housing brochure as one of two residential facilities available to its 1.600 students in New York City. It was not immediately clear how the opening of the HERRC would impact students residing there. West Side Rag requests for information from AMDA went unanswered last week. Speaking at last week’s community board meeting, Brewer addressed reports that had been circulating about the Stratford Arms and said the building also houses long-term residents from its SRO days. “We have to be very, very careful that none of the [permanent residents] are put out in any way,” she said. “These asylum seekers are pretty special, so I don’t think it will be a problem. But I’m paying attention.” Yeah...these asylum seekers are CERTAINLY "Pretty Special"

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, after suffering a humiliating loss in the Nevada primaries, complained that former President Donald Trump “rigged” the race to prevent her from making a decent showing. Haley’s comments come weeks before the much-anticipated South Carolina primaries. Given that this is her home state, it will be a critical race that could decide the future of her candidacy. During an interview, a reporter asked if her loss in Nevada would hurt her campaign. Haley responded, claiming that the race was a “scam” and explained why her campaign did not direct any spending in the state.

Nikki Haley hasn't been faring well in the GOP primaries thus far (to put it mildly). But she appeared to have a foolproof plan for Nevada. While everyone else who bothered to run is competing in the caucus tomorrow, Haley was the only prominent candidate to enter their name in yesterday's primary. As it turns out, that plan didn't work out very well either. Haley managed to lose by a significant margin to "None of these candidates." The "none of the above" option drew more than 60% of the vote in a race with very sparse turnout. (NY Post). President Biden emerged victorious in Nevada’s Democratic primary Tuesday,

There is absolutely nothing good to recommend about the BLM Week of Action, but this year, a new and particularly vile twist has been added to the mix: a call to martyrdom.

Many fled there after following Israeli evacuation orders that now cover two-thirds of the territory following the Oct. 7 Hamas attack that sparked the war. It's not clear where they could go next.
