During the Supreme Court oral arguments for Trump v. Anderson, Justice Brett Kavanaugh delivered a pointed reminder that former President Donald Trump has not been formally charged with insurrection.
Thursday’s proceedings centered on the contested application of the 14th Amendment’s prohibition against insurrectionists holding office, which has been invoked in an attempt to disqualify Trump from the 2024 primary ballot in Colorado.
The Colorado Supreme Court ruled in a 4-3 decision to keep President Trump off the 2024 Primary ballot in the state. The Colorado high court has been the only court to rule this way out of several decisions

I have listened to much of the hearing. The stars must have been perfectly aligned, as I heard multiple Justices correctly arguing what the Constitution says, one of whom was on the left.
This could be a 9-0 ruling against Colorado.
Won't look good on the resume.

FTA: "And, if you’re convicted of that..."
And there lay the crux of the matter. President Donald Trump was never charged, nor tried, and certainly never convicted of "Insurrection," by the DOJ. How dare the Colorado Supreme Court arrogate power unto themselves to be the sole investigative body of a Federal crime without doing ANY investigation. Those who voted against putting him on the ballot need to be removed from the bench and have their law licenses revoked.

But who pays for the legal defense brought by the renegade Colorado/Anderson. The main attempt of all of these unsupported cases against Trump is to bleed him of money.

Every time I heard the word insurrection, I screamed, "President Donald Trump was charged with insurrection!" Then I uttered some words which can't be mentioned here.

#3 I think all of our states that begin with the letter C have some of the stupidest people in the country. I've been to all three and relatives of mine from Connecticut still think that the Kumquat is doing a great job as president. I do think that Colorado tries hard to out stupid California. Ron White was right and I'm happy that Kavanaugh gave that slip and fall lawyer the business.

I wonder how the courts of colorado could think they have jurisdiction for prosecuting - enforcing criminal sanctions against- someone for an alleged crime allegedly committed in Washington DC.
Can the Dallas DA or the Texas AG prosecute Joke Bidet in Texas for failure to uphold the laws of the United States regarding the border?

Look, this is the Peoples' Republic of Colorado now. Dim governor, dim-controlled legislature, dim-controlled local msm, and way too many dim voters and illegals. Our dim secretary of state, Jena Griswold, should be tarred and feathered for abuse of power for trying to keep Trump off our ballots.

Colorado residents should be frightened that the highest judicial branch in their State could get something so wrong.

The direction this is going is pretty obvious. A 9-0 decision would constitute proof that the Colorado SC voted on a political lynching and not the law. Chalk it up to another failure by the Democrats to ‘get Trump’.

If this isn't a 9-0 decision (and at least two of the Libtards will probably side with Colorado), it is a reflection on the unsuitability for any judicial court let alone the Supreme Court of those who would vote to deny Trump his constitutional rights.

Exactly, Nos. 3 and 12. Colorado is dominated by California trans plants. Including the Governor of Colorado. Colorado is like many states, in that there are two states within its borders. Outside Denver/Boulder, there are some sane people. Problem is, the political power resides in the population centers.

3. NO ONE has been convicted of insurrection, let alone Trump.

I'm reminded of the communist manifesto ...tell people something long enough and it becomes real to them...I think that's what happened with Jan6...the rats thought they could pull it off by repeating insurrection without a charge or proof...jack has an up hill battle now....
