MS Society DEFENDS staff who sacked 90-year-old
volunteer because she 'asked what pronouns
meant' despite furious backlash

The National MS Society has defended firing a 90-year-old volunteer for breaching its diversity and inclusion policy after she asked what pronouns were. Fran Itkoff had served the non-profit for multiple sclerosis patients for 60 years, with her late husband running the Long Beach Lakewood chapter prior to his death. She was left stunned when her bosses forced her to step down on January 19 following an exchange with a colleague who asked her to use her pronouns in an email signatures.

Comments:

My wife died of MS. I have donated thousands to these people over the years in the apparently mistaken belief that their mission was fighting MS, not enforcing liberal orthodoxy. They will not get another dime from me. There are other MS charities out there: The MS Foundation, MS Association of American and others.

I won't name names but I have been very cautious who I give money to anymore. Non-profit or not. A number of years ago I wrote a check to a very well-known cause. Not a big check but it was still something. The check went uncashed for several months and I talked to the person who came around seeking donations but they had no idea. I called the agency and they had no idea either. Accountability? Nobody seem to care. Just think if you had given a larger cash donation?

I've never given a penny to any of these large, national "non profits" as they already receive lots of money from the US Government (NIH to conduct animal research/torture to find a cure) and philanthropic foundations through grants, etc. I only give to those organization I have direct knowledge of and/or actually volunteer with.

This diversity, inclusion and equity (YES DIE) nonsense must indeed die a quick death. The actions of this so-called organization are reprehensible and disgusting. I am 72 years old and I don't understand this pronoun crap. And yes, even if we understood this garbage, we have a right, yes ladies and gentlemen, a right not to use this made up nonsense.

MS, in future, please act with humanity, instead of the nasty meanness, and disrespect of the rights of others, you portray. You have earned a bad reputation, and you should be avoided.

FTA “On Tuesday, NMSS' president and CEO Cyndi Zagieboylo announced her plans to retire. The non-profit denied there was any link between the decision and the recent controversy,“ What is with women in power??? Once again the legacy of the American Women’s Movement is going to be, no future civilizations are going to ever allow it. Does it occur to any of you chicks; maybe try to make things better, rather than worse.

So, someone didn't like that this woman didn't have (she/her) in her email signature, so complained. Fran then asked what it meant. FTA: Itkoff was let go via email after a representative at the company asked her began to start using pronouns on her email signature, but she did not know what it meant according to an interview she conducted with Libs of TikTok. 'I had seen it on a couple of letters that had come in after the person's name. But I didn't know what it meant,' the senior said. 'Because it sounds like you are labeling for females, not males, if you are just putting in she/her.' A few days later, she received an email accusing her of violating the MS Society's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion guidelines. Then, they let her go from a volunteer position she held for 60 years! Wasn't it her right to not have to include (she/her) in her signature after all?

Fire a woman who has volunteered (as in no pay) for decades for asking a question devoid of malice. And the alphabet types wonder why no one wants anything to do with them.

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she was not ruling out a presidential run to keep former President Donald Trump out of the White House. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “You still haven’t ruled out a presidential run of your own in 2024, as far as I know. Are you still considering it, or what do you rule it out?” Cheney said, “I haven’t made any decisions about it yet. I’m going to do whatever is necessary to defeat Donald Trump.” Tapper said, “But if it came down to you, not running, and it’s Biden versus Trump, you would you would support Biden?”

Truckers to the rescue—again. Truckers bravely exposed some of the worst COVID shutdowns in the world when they parked their trucks in Ottowa to protest the iron-fisted approach used against citizens by the Justin Trudeau regime. Truckers in the US showed solidarity for their Canadian neighbors and helped block shipping between the US and Canada in Detroit, Michigan. Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who was being considered for Joe Biden’s VP, quickly threatened arrest for truckers who dared to block the Ambassador Bridge. American truckers are now reportedly threatening to stop deliveries into New York City over the grotesque $364 million judgment against President Trump

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said Friday text messages between Wade’s former divorce attorney Terrence Bradley and another defense lawyer couldn’t be admitted as evidence because Bradley spilled information that was covered under attorney-client privilege.

Donald Trump's cognitive decline is 'more apparent' than Joe Biden's with 'slurred speech and gross, repeated errors' but both are concerning, a professor has warned. Politics professor Paul Quirk from the University of British Columbia assessed both the presidential front runners' cognitive functioning - after a series of gaffes raised questions about their fitness to hold office. He told Newsweek that 77-year-old Trump's cognitive deterioration is more obvious, but Biden's 'cognitive failure' could result in him refusing to relinquish control if needed during his second term.

A third year has passed since the death of Rush Limbaugh. The day of the sad news, millions of people were sensible of a loss. Something they depended on for reassurance, reinforcement, confidence, strength, amusement, and interest was now gone and never would come again. Limbaugh was an optimist, and optimists are like bonfires. The shivering gathered about him for warmth -- those fearing an awful and incomprehensible transformation in their country, those to whom the triumph of Marxism looked to be inevitable. His listeners had this consolation -- that at the appointed hour the ebullient voice would issue from the radio,

Writing in Aeon, professional provocateur Gavin Evans leads the band of God-slayers with his February 15 article, entitled “There Was No Jesus,” rehashing old arguments that Jesus was the invention of a group of unscrupulous hucksters who sought to create a religion around a myth of their own creation. The gist of Evans’ plodding 4,100-word piece is that “a cult leader who drew crowds, inspired devoted followers and was executed on the order of a Roman governor”

President Trump held another one of his massive political rallies Saturday night in Waterford Township, Michigan. The rally was held one day after a New York City judge ordered him to pay $355 million to New York State for paying his business loans off on time and with interest. This case could possibly be the start of the end of the United States as we know it if it is not overturned. The unprecedented lawfare suits against America’s favorite president has not put a dent in his popularity with voters. In fact, it is having the opposite effect.
