The 'Dump Joe' bandwagon

A certain conventional wisdom about the 2024 presidential race has dominated political discourse for much of this year: Donald Trump is unstoppable when it comes to winning the Republican nomination but cannot hope to retake the White House come the general election. What endears him to his party’s base repels the independent and moderate voters he needs to win the presidency. So, Joe Biden is clear favorite to be elected for a second term. That conventional wisdom is now smashed to smithereens – and not in a good way, for those who don’t want to see Trump back in the Oval Office.

Comments:

I'm increasingly thinking Jill Biden must be at the root of Biden's inappropriate positioning as POTUS. Sheś very ambititious, and I want to ask her what she said to Neilia Christmas morning 1972. Also want to flag that Hunter,Neilia's last chid, is the one at risk of jail in the structure of the Biden family fundraising, while Jill's side of the family is quite safe. ...remembering... Biden says Jill was so reluctant to marry him he had to propose five times. When we trasnlate the Bidentalk, how does that compute?

Jill loves being the First Lady with all of her perks. She is not going to tell him to resign. She is the one who keeps him propped up. She is as bad or worse than he is because she is his enabler just like Hillary enabled that pervert Bill.

What a trash article. Trump polls better than Biden with independents. Trump would lose to Biden again due to election fraud, not in a real election. Plus, insiders in the Democrat party have already leaked Joe will not the be nominee; it's just posturing at this point.

This is all a game of 'let's pretend'. Let's pretend that there is uniform, fair system of justice in this country. Let's pretend that elections are honest legal and held on a level playing field. Let's pretend that Joe Biden tells the truth and there is no evidence of his corrupt behavior. Let's pretend Obama loves the country that has given him so much. This has no relevance in the real world.

Joe can't dump Kamala, the black woman he vowed to select. The Democrats' only hope for getting rid of both Biden and Kamala would be for Joe to step down now, which would allow an open primary. I don't expect that to happen. Joe and Jill are not going to go willingly. The Democrats need to face the truth: they are stuck with Joe.

I stopped making political predictions a long time ago. I didn’t think that the US would elect a socialist, Obama, but I was wrong. I don’t think that the US would re-elect Obama, again I was wrong. I didn’t think that democrats would nominate a screeching cackling bitter woman, again I was wrong. I didn’t think that Trump would be able to beat the Queen in waiting. And I didn’t think that Trump would lose to washed up perverted plagiarist campaigning from a basement. Curiously, everyone talks about Biden stepping down, or not running. But no one talks about him assuming room temperature, naturally or otherwise. Would it benefit democrats in 2024 for the sitting pResident to drop dead????

This is a problem of the democrats' and deep states' making. They knew he was incapable in 2020 yet they propped him up and installed him in the Oval. So, I say keep the SOB propped up and keep him running until he collapses.

It’s Official! The Democrats Have a

I have written quite a bit about the Democrats’ emerging problem with nonwhite voters (for example, here, here and here), manifest in steadily declining margins among this demographic. Well, now it’s official.......Democrats may simply have misjudged what is most important to nonwhite voters, reflecting perhaps the increasing domination of their coalition by white college graduate voters, virtually the only demographic among whom the party has been doing steadily better. The agenda of white college graduates, particularly the progressives who support the party so fervently and fuel the party’s activist base, is less coterminous with that of nonwhite voters than Democrats seem to believe.

BOGOTA, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Nicolas Petro, the eldest son of Colombian President Gustavo Petro, on Thursday admitted that illegal money entered his father's election campaign last year, the prosecutor handling the case said on Thursday. Nicolas Petro, 37, was arrested on Saturday in the city of Barranquilla alongside his ex-wife, Daysuris del Carmen Vasquez, who was quoted in the media in March saying that two people accused of having ties to drug trafficking gave her former spouse cash to support the president's election campaign.

The mayor of Manta, Agustin Intriago, 38, was gunned down during a public event on Sunday, in the second deadly attack on a politician in a week. A woman also lost her life in the attack, while two of the attackers were wounded and are in custody in a hospital, according to Interior Minister Juan Zapata.

You might have noticed a media narrative taking shape the last few days about how Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign has “stalled.” [...] Perhaps what we’re seeing is less about him and still less about 2024 or the upcoming GOP primary scrum, and more about what happened in 2020. Put bluntly, maybe what we’re seeing now is an early sign that what Democrats, Big Tech, and corporate media did in 2020 was inject poison into our political system, and the 2024 election cycle is going to show us just how deadly that poison is.

For a casual observer of Chile, the election result might have come as a shock. A country that just a year ago seemed to be undergoing a progressive transformation, with a tattooed, thirty-something president taking office and an expansive new Constitution apparently on the way, now seems to be lurching in the opposite direction. ... While reasons vary somewhat by country, the insatiable appetite for drugs in both traditional consumer markets like Europe and the U.S., and increasingly within the region itself, is an obvious common thread.

The senators’ letter comes on the heels of the Senate Armed Services Committee’s unanimous approval for the Department of Defense to send long-range missiles to Ukraine.

They told The Wall Street Journal that Garland was seen as going too far in his effort to appear independent from Biden, who appointed him. But Garland's aides told the paper that the widely-respected, low-key official was simply trying to stop any suspicion that Biden was influencing his decisions.
