I was considering sending her campaign a few bucks last week. No more. Her behavior was childish, boorish and inconsiderate. She’d better straighten herself out, or she’ll be out of a job after the next election.

Very poor judgment on her part. I simply cannot believe someone running for office would not have more sense (although she is not the only one). Did the thing, denied the thing, apologized for the thing. I'd have a hard time supporting her, glad I don't have to make that choice.

Dating a Democrat and dressing like a proud hooker who just had her cup size upped again is not a good look, regardless of whether 36 year old Grandma Boobert was truly groping his crotch or just cleaning up a …..spill. It’s a real shame when we give the opposition a match to light the fuse of the dynamite we make in our own kitchen.

It makes me think of a story about Churchill. He had over imbibed at a party, and had gotten into an unseemly insult trading match with a female political figure, Lady What'sHerName, I'll call her. After exchanging several rounds of increasingly nasty barbs, she said, "Sir, you are drunk!" Churchill replied, "Yes, Madam, you are correct and you are ugly. However, tomorrow I will be sober, and you will still be ugly." Churchill was right. He was sober the next day, and fortunately this wasn't a too common occurance, although Churchill did definitely drink regularly. We should judge by overall results, and not occasional errors. And if you make a fool of yourself when intoxicated, and then apologize and don't make a habit of it, that should be the end of it. People make mistakes, especially when drinking.

London - One of Ukraine’s closest and most vocal allies has now said it will stop sending arms to Kyiv, a major reversal that threatens to upend Europe’s strategic relationship with the country as it wages a counteroffensive against Russia. Poland’s decision was both sudden and predictable, coming after months of tensions over a temporary ban on Ukrainian grain imports to a number of European Union countries. It also follows a pattern of increasingly confrontational behavior towards Kyiv from Poland’s government, just weeks before a tight general election. And it could have implications for Ukraine’s attempts to push Russian forces

Iran's parliament has passed a controversial bill that would increase prison terms and fines for women and girls who break its strict dress code. Those dressed "inappropriately" face up to 10 years in jail under the bill, for which a three-year "trial" was agreed. It still needs to be approved by the Guardian Council to become law. The move comes a year after protests erupted over the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, who was held by morality police for an allegedly improper hijab. Women burnt their headscarves or waved them in the air at the nationwide demonstrations against the

It’s official: Democrats make everything worse. It was a sentiment long felt by many in the country, but after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) recent decision to nix the Senate’s dress code and, in turn, obliterate the regard, respect, and dignity of the office, Schumer and the Democrats erased any doubt about ushering in societal rot and the nation’s decline. It’s an embarrassment, and every Democratic politician should be ashamed. And that includes Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), believed to be the impetus for Schumer’s decision to eliminate the dress code. While party voters lined up behind Biden in 2020 and are poised to do so again, they have some misgivings about the president, who is 80 years old and would be 82 at the start of a potential second term in 2025. In an August survey conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 69% of Democrats indicated that Biden would be too old to be effective for another term.
