Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) issued an apology for vaping and displaying disruptive behavior during a Beetlejuice production, according to a statement her campaign team released Friday evening. Boebert apologized for her behavior and expressed regret for not telling the truth about whether she had vaped during the production, which later led to her removal from the crowd by theater staff. The apology comes just days after it was reported the Colorado Republican had been removed from the theater for “vaping, singing, [and] causing a disturbance” to other patrons, according to a city incident report. “The past few days have been

I was considering sending her campaign a few bucks last week. No more. Her behavior was childish, boorish and inconsiderate. She’d better straighten herself out, or she’ll be out of a job after the next election.

As stated in last paragraph, Boebert won a very tight race in 2022. She is up against a tough re-election fight in 2024.

I saw stills from the security footage of her allowing herself to be groped and doing some groping herself. What a wonderful girl!

I would think, if I were running for office, or in office, I would be more cognizant of what I did in public...but then, perhaps she is looking for a democrap office, as this type of behaviour would be good for her resume..

It does help her. She is honest and is truly OF her generation where it is not about politics. Just what we want.

Very poor judgment on her part. I simply cannot believe someone running for office would not have more sense (although she is not the only one). Did the thing, denied the thing, apologized for the thing. I'd have a hard time supporting her, glad I don't have to make that choice.

Dating a Democrat and dressing like a proud hooker who just had her cup size upped again is not a good look, regardless of whether 36 year old Grandma Boobert was truly groping his crotch or just cleaning up a …..spill.
It’s a real shame when we give the opposition a match to light the fuse of the dynamite we make in our own kitchen.

I like Boebert; she's good for voting conservatively. Her behavior sounds like it was a bit juvenile, but if Bill Clinton can be excused for his sexcapdes her indignant public behavior should be overlooked as well.

It makes me think of a story about Churchill.
He had over imbibed at a party, and had gotten into an unseemly insult trading match with a female political figure, Lady What'sHerName, I'll call her.
After exchanging several rounds of increasingly nasty barbs, she said, "Sir, you are drunk!"
Churchill replied, "Yes, Madam, you are correct and you are ugly. However, tomorrow I will be sober, and you will still be ugly."
Churchill was right. He was sober the next day, and fortunately this wasn't a too common occurance, although Churchill did definitely drink regularly. We should judge by overall results, and not occasional errors.
And if you make a fool of yourself when intoxicated, and then apologize and don't make a habit of it, that should be the end of it. People make mistakes, especially when drinking.

In no particular order: Ted Kennedy. Wilbur Mills. John Edwards. Gary Hart. Marion Berry. Anthony Weiner. John Kennedy. Robert F Kennedy. Al Franken.
And I ain't even had breakfast yet. A cup of coffee and a few internet searches might put Ms Boebert's escapade in perspective. I neither approve of nor condemn her high-school behavior. But stupid, boorish alcohol fueled hormonal outbursts don't seem to bother Dems. Until a Republican tries it. Just sayin'...

This "do you know who I am" re: the vaping is bad enough but the groping is pretty vile........I have been told the details and it is pretty gross. WHY is this woman in office??????? Aren't there decent Conservative Republicans around? She gives a bad name to one and all and don't think the Left won't use this.

Boebert and MTG are a bit on the flaky side, but I like them.
And they're both a lot smarter and pro-America than any of their dingbat woman Democrat colleagues.

And all those posters listing the numerous Dems who have done the same is silly-----groping is groping and she is our representative!!!!!!! Tell ME why there are not other decent candidates? Being Pro Trump is NOT a reason to vote for this creepy woman.

Liar! Liar! Vape on fire!
She tried to hide what she was doing until caught.
Typical dishonest politician.
Hope everyone realizes there is nothing special about Boebert.
The country deserves better.

The best chance to keep this seat is to make sure she is primaried. A new face would be more likely to hold the seat than Boebert.
