The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) has reported fuel contamination could impact residents who are evacuating from Florida’s coast. FDACS reported fuel contamination has occurred at dozens of gas stations that were serviced by the Port of Tampa. In a press release, FDACS revealed, “Any fuel purchased after 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, at stations supplied by Citgo from the Port of Tampa has a strong likelihood of being contaminated with diesel fuel.”

Comments:

Accident? Or intentional act by leftist agitators to take revenge on Floridians and Ron DeSantis for conservative views and actions?

So I presume that the gas station owner will have to pump out the contaminated tanks and clean out the contaminated piping before they can get back to business? Hope nobody's home generators got put out of action.

My tinfoil hat buzzed alive on this story. What better way to clog the evacuation routes than with a bunch of disabled vehicles thereby insuring more death and injury that can be laid at the feet of the "incompetent" governor of Florida.... What a coincidence that this problem occurred ONLY at the location where a hurricane was imminent within days, and with a popular Republican governor that is running for President.

This has got to be terrorism. I can understand if one or two stations got affected, but as it stands now, that is just too many to be a coincidence. And timed just before the storm. If anyone dies because of contaminated fuel, I hope somebody gets prosecuted for murder. As the great detectives of fictional history have said, 'there are no such thing as coincidences'.

Our existence is becoming like the movies. So many sinister things are happening in America and around the world. The communists don't just murder people outright anymore; they're killing people with raging fires, this incident, fake wars, fake pandemics, fake cures for pandemics, fake insurrections, fake election interfering charges, etc. Everything they do is designed to kill, steal, and destroy. OP, you may be on to something. I would think the gas would be tested prior to loading it in tanker trucks. One thing is certain, the policies of this administration are harmful because they are so ideologically driven. Add to that the complete incompetency the administration brings to every situation and you end up with a situation like this. #1, That would not surprise me in the least. Democrats would allow people to suffer if it meant they could work it out to their political advantage. Malevolence and incompetence are dangerous combinations and they appear to be this cabal’s superpower. Nothing good comes from evil.

I would think a small amount of diesel in the gas might make the car run a little rough, but would not make it stop. It would depend on just how badly it was contaminated.

"Contaminated" with diesel? To me, ethanol is a much bigger contamination. Or water. You could put a gallon of diesel in a full tank of gas with no ill effect on the fuel system. Your tailpipe might belch out a bunch of smoke, but you'll be fine.

I don't know if this was terrorist or not but people in Florida have had several days of warning about this approaching hurricane so anyone who waits til the last minute to fuel up their car or truck has little sympathy from me. Nikki Haley had been paddling in the shallows of the Republican presidential race for six months, making few waves, when an unnamed senior adviser to President Biden confided to Politico two weeks ago, “If they nominate Nikki Haley, we’re in trouble.” It was an odd admission, given that the former South Carolina governor was polling at around 4 percent nationally. But then Haley last week delivered a strong debate performance, and a new leaked poll from Trump world showed her moving into third place in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Most obviously, with Trump as the current leading contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, Americans deserve to know before they vote in the general election if a jury of his peers finds him innocent or guilty of having tried to end the lawful transition of power after the 2020 election.

The best defense former President Donald Trump has against his indictment in Washington for multiple conspiracies to defraud the United States as part of the events of January 6, 2021, hinges on his purportedly sincere belief that he actually won the 2020 election. According to the prosecution, Trump and his co-conspirators attempted to “overturn the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election by using knowingly false claims of election fraud to obstruct the federal government function by which those results are collected, counted, and certified.”

The parents sought an injunction before the first day of school on August 28 after the district changed its policies in March to no longer allow parents to opt their children out of being assigned books that advocate pride parades, gender transitioning, and pronoun preferences for kids as young as pre-kindergarten.

The Democrats have an ace in the hole in their relentless war on the Constitution – conservative America’s reverence for the concept of the rule of the law. Only their steadfast commitment to this traditional ideal explains why conservatives are allowing Democrats to flagrantly corrupt our judicial system to destroy their opponents and protect themselves. For all their huffing and puffing, conservatives have effectively taken a let the system play itself out attitude while Democrats nakedly politicize that system through their partisan indictments of former President Trump and their Potemkin Village probes of the Bidens. These are not statements of opinion. These are facts.

The real problem with racism in America today is that demand far outstrips supply. Where does the demand come from? Chiefly from our woke elites. It is they who understand that the charge of “racism” is a potent meal ticket and guarantor of institutionalized political power. Accordingly, they have a large stake in perpetuating the reign of racism. In this realm, too, incentives matter. It is also worth noting that many of these elite race cadets are white. Blacks are invited to participate in this theatrical production, but only so long as they play their assigned roles. They must mouth the pieties about “systemic,” i.e., perpetual, incurable racism. CORRECTION*
