New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking an immediate partial summary judgment in her multimillion-dollar civil lawsuit against former President Donald Trump, court documents show.
Documents dated Aug. 30 show Ms. James urged Judge Arthur Engoron to issue a summary judgment on one of seven claims in her 200-page civil lawsuit filed against President Trump, the Trump Organization, and three of his adult children in 2022, alleging "years of financial fraud to obtain a host of economic benefits."

Who needs that pesky due process anyway???
These pathetic vermin are determined to do everything they can to pretend their kingdom of lies, and they don't care if the whole world can see their corruption or not. Despicable.

No no no. A trial would allow discovery
Common trick by prosecutors to avoid that.

Destroying the legal system in order to garner power and wealth for herself.
One of the greatest acts of greed ever witnessed: wanton destruction of a linkpin of the social fabric for the shiny dime the DimoKKKrap party will toss her way.

That's exactly how dictators prefer to do it, no trial, just find the right judge to go along with your nonsense and throw the bum in prison, taking his money in the process. Go find a real job, Letitia, something you are smart enough to do correctly.

Here's one proposal for a new federal law.
Any public official who uses his or her office for political prosecutions is personally civilly and criminally liable for damages both financially and via fines and imprisonment.
Maybe it will make the next Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, or the ditz in Atlanta think twice about using their office to go against their political opponents.

No trial for the political folks we don't like. We just choose to call them guilty and steal their money.
"Due process??? Nah, that's way outdated stuff."

At least she's being up-front: The trial, picking a jury, presentation of evidence, presumption of innocence, careful consideration, impartial justice, etc. and blah, blah, blah are just formalities to Democrats, anyway, so why not just skip to the part where they declare him GUILTY! and be done with it?

If she picks the right Judge she might get a summary judgement.
I am sure she is interviewing Obama Judges.

does she have the Constitution imprinted on her toilet paper so she can say that she wipes it all away with our founding document,
what have we become when people like her hold elected offices of such high esteem?

Banks would be the victim, if there were any.
The banks' experts approved the loans and got paid back, with interest.
Who do I sue when my gov't assessment on my property is higher than what places just like mine are selling for???

Today they do this to Trump, tomorrow they do this to the average citizen. Meet the vengeful Democrat lawyer.
This crap would stop if Federal law forbade State Attorneys General from being "indemnified" from lawsuits brought by citizens targeted by those AGs. Imagine if President Trump could sue this black pig for malicious prosecution in a court of law all the way up to the Supreme Court.

The tell here is these “Persecutors” have no fear of legal reprisal. They know they can bend, break or ignore the law without prejudice. No one is ever going to come after them. They are going to be the darlings of the democrat party. They can write their own ticket. These people have no allegiance to the Constitution or rule of law. It’s all about them. They will do whatever is necessary to get the outcome they desire.
That legal scholars all around the country are silent during these obvious malicious prosecutions of PDT, screams bias and a willingness to ignore what is so painfully clear. Justice is dead in this country because democrats shoved a knife in the heart of Lady Justice. They know they cannot beat President Trump in a fair election, hence the creation of lawfare. When are elected Republicans going to wake up to the fact that democrats will gleefully abandon the founding principle of equality under the law to get their way. Political prosecutions are a dangerous indicator that the country has surrendered to this lawless cabal. Oh, how far we have fallen in such a short time. The feckless Republicans will one day rue the day apathy became a strategy. What weak-kneed fools. They are giving the Republic to anti-American zealots.

In order for there to be fraud someone had to have Bern defrauded and lost money. That did not happen here. Absurd case on its face.

The worldclass snark in this comment thread is epic and very entertaining. Keep it up.
Letitia has been beating this dead horse for so long there is nothing left for her to exploit. We all know that any so-called benefits Trump might have received were under rules and laws that her own party wrote during the 46 years her party controlled the House. She is jumping ahead of the process, hoping to get a win without doing the actual work.
#7, ignorance is painful, but not to those who use it against the rest of us. We are the ones experiencing the pain, not the carrier. Kind of like Typhoid Mary in a way.
