After what could generously be described as a tumultuous few months for Donald Trump, reports are now circulating that there could be a positive development for the former president.
Multiple outlets, including The Guardian and ABC News, are reporting that U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida Aileen Cannon has initially been tapped to oversee what many consider to be a politically motivated and spurious case against Trump. AB 957 was introduced into the California legislature by Assemblymember Lori Wilson (D-Suisun City) and state Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco). The bill rewrites much of the state’s family law and classifies “a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child.”
The bill amends Section 3011 of the Family Code, which deals with child custody disputes, and requires that a court determining the “best interests” of the child must consider affirmation of transgender identity.

Garamendi, D-Calif., rolled out legislation this week called the "No Corporate Tax Exemption for Professional Sports Act," after what the congressman called the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund’s "surprise takeover" of the PGA.
