One of Donald Trump's rivals for the 2024 Republican nomination has backed the former president over charges for illegally retaining classified documents, while another called on him to drop out of the race.
Vivek Ramaswamy, who announced his candidacy for president in February, slammed the federal charges against Trump that are expected to be filed next week in federal court in Miami, saying it demonstrated 'two tiers of justice'.
'I never thought we'd see the day when the U.S. President deputizes the DOJ to arrest his lead rival in the middle of an election,' Ramaswamy said in a statement after the news broke if the impending legal challenge.

Limp, low-T males like Asa Hutchinson are a big problem in this country, in the Republican Party. Trump, Ron DiSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy are the only GOP candidates who seem concerned with the corruption and bias at the Department of Justice.

I know it WON'T happen, but what every GOP Presidential Contender except for President Trump should do is drop out of the race and endorse President Trump for the GOP Nomination and the Presidency.
Heck, it isn't time to just DRAIN the swamp, its time to flush it clean with a couple of super-tankers full of Clorox bleach as well.

I’ll be surprised if Hutchinson breaks 3% in the polls.

Much wishful thinking by the writer to call Hutchison a long-shot. He has no chance.

Ramaswamy, De Santis and all the others - - are egomaniacal, unpatriotic wimps.
If they had any real integrity - - any real love of country - - any normal-sized egos - - they would drop out of the race - - and wholeheartedly support President Trump - - who alone is responsible for any political success which any of them have had.
Their whole "when I'm president - - this will not happen" shtik makes me nauseous. They're all self-centered weasels - - and PFOOEY on all of them!

Look again # 5. So far, Ramaswamy is the only candidate to defend Trump.

#6, As this article clearly states, DeSantis strongly condemned the indictment in terms similar to Ramaswamy’s condemnation. DM had a story about that earlier. As far as I know no other candidate other than these two have weighed in.

Sorry for the second post - - but - - both Ramaswamy and De Santis chimed in with "when I'm president" weasel words.
They condemned Biden - - but they did NOT support President Trump for re-election. That's ingratitude, egomania, and lack of patriotism at the highest level.
And once again - - I say PFOOEY!

Assa Hutchison has been calling for Trump to drop out since even before he launched his quixotic run for the White House, so his latest call isn't news.

McConnell, Cornyn and Thune have lockjaw. These stuffed shirts are no better than Pelosi and Schumer.

The candidate who has not entered yet would a legitimate T party Trump supporter from a state that Trump didn't carry who would promise to carry the MAGA banner, who has some indication of draining the swamp and has a successful history as an executive in the private sector.
Not to run as a Trump alternative, but to run as the what if he can't continue alternative?
DeSantis, and his globalist Ukranian ties and hence Soros and Bush connections is a non starter.

Good for Ramaswamy. Hutchinson has no business being anywhere near Washington. Two questions for any candidate (Democrat or Republic) running for President:
1. Do you support the prosecution of Donald Trump?
2. Do you support the prosecution of the J6 prisoners?
If they answer yes to either, do not vote for them. Both are injustices that need to end. These issues show the rampant corruption in our country more than anything else.

I am just flabbergasted by Asa Hutchinson. Who in the world does he think will vote for him after saying something like that?
It’s obvious his run is just to sieve money from big doners. That’s all.

I say let the primary process play out. Then vote for whoever wins the Republican nomination. Most likely, that will be Trump.
