The federal indictment lodged against former president Donald Trump includes seven charges that carry a maximum 75-year prison sentence if convicted on all counts.
The 76-year-old former commander in chief was indicted by a federal grand jury Thursday on criminal charges relating to his alleged mishandling of classified White House documents that were recovered at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida and allegations he tried to obstruct the government’s attempts to retrieve them.

Give me a freaking break. This is how they got rid of Sarah Palin. Charging her and forcing her to defend herself over and over until she quit. The charges are phony,. We have this man who got turned down for the Supreme Court running the Justice department and covering for democrats while at the same time making up BS charges against Donald Trump.
Without doubt this is the worst Administration in the history of the United States.
The people doing this should be in fear that if Republicans ever get back in charge they will face terrible retribution.
But we all know that the chicken crud Republicans will only roll mover and play dead.

This is a sad chapter in our history. This is an issue that should have been settled through negotiation. It is inconsistent with the treatment of every other former President, not to mention Hillary Clinton. Those who celebrate this are like the spectators at the guillotine in revolutionary France. I stand by Trump all the way after this as it is the only hope for our republic.

They weren’t going to stop until they had an indictment. Their main objective is to stop him from ever being President again. If they can put him in prison that will be even better.

And he faces 100+ years from the Manhattan case ‘if convicted on all counts’. This is political Kabuki. Do these jokers even realize what a dangerous game they are playing? And how much damage they are inflicting on our political process? Of course they do. THAT is the real problem.

Agree with #1..... Republicans are not going to stop the collapse. A story just broke in American Greatness of farmers and ranchers are being pushed around by a fraud carbon collection scheme company in So. Dakota, Summitt Carbon Solutions. Get this, they build pipe lines all over private lands by force with armed thug punks to "capture " carbon and store it under ground somewhere in No.Dakota. . Ever wonder why you never here from Go. Noem anymore? Her and republican Iowa Gov. Reynolds are completely owned by the global warming fraud cabal as is their state governments. Former Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad is at the very front of this corrupt scheme. Republicans all.

Completely fraudulent charges. The crimes are being done by Garland and the Smith slimeball, another front man for the evil Weissmann, like Mueller was.
Totally fake, and proves how corrupt the entire DC Sewer is.

Although I'm not a huge Trump fan, I think he's being treated incredibly unfairly and would gladly join in a massive show of strength or civil disobedience, like the celebrated civil rights movements of my youth. On the other hand, the crowd who frequently laments "wimpy Republicans," appears to grow more strident every day. What are the name callers doing (what actions are the name callers taking) that differentiates them from their "wimpy"elected representatives? Their democrat counterparts, including non-citizens who entered the country illegally, flood our streets to burn cities, kill people, and destroy private property right under their noses without any sign of the once-threatened massive pushback , once believed to be a credible deterrent. Obviously in 2023, there is no deterrent against the blatantly political nature of the psuedo-legal, abusive attacks on Trump and in particular, his most loyal supporters.
Consider the former popular culture poster boy for "wimpy" Republicans, George H. W. Bush (a.k.a. 41). Like Donald Trump, Bush attended a private Northeast military high (prep) school; however, upon graduation in 1942, Bush enlisted in the Navy for training as a naval aviator at age 18. After earning his wings and commissioning as an officer in mid-1943, Bush was assigned to a torpedo squadron that was very active in combat operations against the Japanese forces in the Pacific, as the carrier-based pilot of a Grumman TBF Avenger. Bush flew 58 combat missions by the end of 1944, for which he received a DFC, 3 air medals, and other combat awards., not typical attributes of a 'wimp.'

On the bright side, this opens the door to quite a lot of accountability for past Democratic administrations who have done things that WERE actually illegal. The Decorum card is now officially torn up.

# 8....H W didn't earn the wimp medal for his valor in combat. He EARNED it in politics after having been given the road map to American greatness by Ronaldo Maximus. At every step of the way he wimped out to our enemies and lied his way to defeat, " read my lips", in 92. George McGovern was much the same. 38 combat missions in his B24 Liberator bomber over fascist Europe into the teeth of the most fortified air defense in history. Many times returning with shot up engines. One last time landing safely with a completely disabled Liberator saving the entire crew. Also received the DFC and many others. The guy became a public moron and sidled up to Castro at every turn.
