Astronomers know full well that the sun is very slowly getting brighter, and in a billion or so years time it will make Earth too hot to live on. One scientist is now proposing a radical solution that will let humans live on this planet for longer – physically moving it away from the sun. Albert Zijlstra, a professor of astrophysics at the University of Manchester, suggests shifting Earth further back from the sun by about three million miles. At the moment, Earth is orbiting the sun at a distance of 93 million miles (150 million km) but this needs

On Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Radio’s “Guy Benson Show,” author, National Review Contributing Editor, Fox News Contributor, and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy stated that while former President Donald Trump does have ample reason to say he’s been singled out, the indictment against him is “a devastating document. If they can prove half of it, he’s toast.” And he believes more than half of what’s in the indictment can be proven.
McCarthy stated, [relevant remarks begin around 35:35] “It’s a devastating document. If they can prove half of it, he’s toast. And I sense that they can probably prove more than half of it, because a lot

The top Democrats in the Senate and House called on Friday for former President Donald Trump’s “supporters and critics alike” to allow the federal case against Trump related to classified documents to “proceed peacefully in court.”
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) made their remarks in a joint statement after a judge unsealed special counsel Jack Smith’s historic indictment of Trump, which revealed 37 criminal charges against him.
“No one is above the law — including Donald Trump,” they wrote. “This indictment must now play out through the legal process, without any outside political or ideological interference.”

Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and his 2024 presidential campaign have come under criticism for using fake images generated with artificial intelligence (AI) depicting former President Donald Trump with Dr. Anthony Fauci.
A Twitter account called DeSantis War Room shared a video showing several images of Trump and Fauci, three of which depicted Trump hugging and kissing Fauci on the face with the caption “REAL LIFE TRUMP,” suggesting a close relationship.
“Donald Trump became a household name by FIRING countless people *on television.* But when it came to Fauci …,” (snip)
the three images showing Trump hugging and kissing Fauci were later identified as fake and AI-generated by AFP Fact Check.

As I mentioned yesterday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) dropped a Fat Man on Gropey Joe Biden in regard to the alleged $10 million in bribes he and his crackhead son Hunter took from Burisma Holdings, an energy company in Ukraine. Greene claims she saw an FBI document laying out Biden’s bribery skullduggery in detail. It alleges that Hunter Biden was paid almost $1 million per year from 2014 to 2019 as a member of Burisma’s board of directors. [Editor’s note: Greene has not released the document and PJ Media has been unable to review or authenticate it.] FACT-O-RAMA! Hunter had no prior experience in the energy sector

Former President Donald Trump responded to the federal indictment unsealed on Friday by suggesting that federal agents “stuffed” classified material into evidence that they collected from Mar-a-Lago after they raided the property last year.
A federal grand jury in the Southern District of Florida indicted the president on 37 felony counts for his alleged retention of national defense information, his alleged attempts to obstruct the investigation, and for allegedly lying to investigators.“When the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, they wouldn’t let my lawyers or representatives anywhere near them,”

Many people are warning these days that the jaw-droppingly corrupt weapon of partisan vengeance known as the “Justice” Department, with its indictment of Donald Trump after steadfastly ignoring the crimes of Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden, is taking the nation down the road to dictatorship. And while that is a very real concern, some of the hysteria is overblown, not because the Biden regime actually respects loyal opposition and free discourse, but because the freedom of speech is already so severely eroded. The Boston Red Sox just showed that anew in their treatment of a pitcher who dared to utter unapproved ideas.

China has been spying on the United States from a base in Cuba, a Biden administration official said on Saturday, claiming that “this is an issue that this administration inherited.”
The Wall Street Journal, followed by POLITICO and other outlets, reported on Thursday that China had been in conversations with Havana to establish a new spy base in the island nation. That same day, the White House and the Pentagon said the reporting was “inaccurate,” without going into details. On Saturday, an administration official clarified by saying that the Chinese base in Cuba has already been established, noting that it didn’t happen on their watch.

The media and other Democrats repeatedly call Republicans fascists and dictators to intentionally mislead the public. Fascists are essentially authoritarians. Trump and other Republicans basically want to transfer power and money to the people, which is the opposite of what an authoritarian would do. Democrats are seeking to transfer as much power and money to the government, which is what fascists or dictators would do.
Here are some examples:
On healthcare, Democrats want to either have single payer, government-run insurance or want to dictate, as with Obamacare, exactly what must be in health care policies. Republicans want people and companies to have freedom of choice.

It has just been revealed that Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm lied to the Senate under oath about the stocks she owns.
She admitted in a letter that she ‘mistakenly’ misinformed the Senate about her stock ownership and that her spouse owns stock in Ford, a company that is directly impacted by her work.
Will there be investigations and arrests? After all, no one is above the law. Isn’t that what we’re being told every day?

Let’s face it, stories of the current resident of the Oval Office looking confused and out of sorts are nothing new. In fact, we saw it just Thursday during the public portion of his meeting with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, where Biden mumbled incoherently at various points as he forgot Winston Churchill’s name and incorrectly referred to Sunak as “Mr. President.” And the day after he suffered a massive fall during an Air Force commencement ceremony, Biden had to be directed everywhere he went during a D.C. Marine Barracks parade while at times moving very slowly, and then on Monday, he shook hands with thin air (again)
